    Spark plugs and house salad
    Ledesma D.

I ordered the spark plugs. Needless to say they had no spark. The lack luster of flavor was disappointing. The house made ranch and salad saved the dish. I did try and chicken tenders. Those hit spot(dip in some ranch) The model A burger with pepper jack cheese and jalapeño bun. Was the star of the show. Our waitress was amazing. The host staff was so/so at best

The Fillin' Station has a large covered dog friendly patio...which is how we ended up there on a recent vacation with a stormy night. It is very conveniently located on a corner on the main square. Lots of delicious sandwiches to choose from, and the waitress brought water for our pups (as well as the humans)!

Nice onion strings came w ranch. Yummy.

I ordered online so I can really only comment on the food. The food was fantastic. You know your doing well when they ask you to choose how to cook your burger. I chose medium well and it was cooked perfectly. I didn't realize I was getting fries. They are a bit average. I did love the onion rings cut very thin. Such a treat to get these items. The grilled onions and jalapeños on my burger were awesome as well. I am at a hotel w my dog so I wish I could have visited here.

    Hockey Puck Burger

I've been eating here occasionally over 21/2 years because the food was dependably good. Well something happened. I ate there on 7/23 in the afternoon. I ordered the Volvo hamburger on a jalapeño bun. I got the burger and WOW what a disappointment. Way over cooked throughout the whole burger which was very dry. I couldn't put enough Mayo on to make it palatable. I talked with the waitress and showed her the burger and explained how disappointed I was with it. Her response was do you want a to go box. I was flabbergasted with that comment. To sum it up; neither she nor the cook nor manager had any interest making this customer happy or satisfied. So I left the $13 hockey puck of a burger on the table never to darken the door again.

    Spark Plugs - yummm!

We tried The Fillin' Station for lunch & thought the food was very good & the service was very friendly. My husband enjoyed the delicious "Spark Plugs" with skinny onion rings. The Chicken Wok I ordered was also very good with lots of fresh veggies. Both dishes were recommended by Laci - our waitress. Only negative is the restrooms were not as clean as we thought they should be.

Thunderbird on jalapeño bread with fries

Love this find in beautiful Granbury! We stopped by after a day out on our way back to Fort Worth. The weather was nice, so we opted for their patio, which was perfect for a sunny, spring day! I had the thunderbird on jalapeño with fries. The sandwich was good: chicken was surprisingly juicy and loved the added bacon. My only wish was to have the jalapeño bread have more of a "kick" to it. Fries were great and crispy. Overall, had a great lunch here and would definitely come back! May sit indoors next time only due to the street noise while out on the patio. Staff was friendly and attentive!

It being Sunday of Labor Day weekend meant everyone was in town, and it definitely slowed things down. There wasn't a single open table inside or outside. I wasn't sitting down for service, just grabbing things for the road, but I ordered a muffin and an iced Cinnamon Twist. I think I regret ordering the size as big as I did (their grande was like 24 oz iced) because it was quite milky (my fault), but the cinnamon and vanilla were good. The muffin was the true star of the show. It was huge, dense, and fluffy. A much-needed carb and sugar rush after my humid Granbury run. The place is super cute, and I will totally try to go back for brunch next time I visit. The place can feel a little tight when you're trying to order to-go without getting in the way of the staff, other people ordering, and the people dining in, but the place was practically at capacity when I got there. I also saw the Yelp sticker on their door, and I was like, OMG I YELP. RIYL: A bistro pulled straight out of a Hallmark Original Movie.

The experience starts with the hostesses who seem to think they are working in a Michelin starred establishment. Then the disappointment moves into the dining experience. Poorly cut steaks, and items you'd find in a Cotton Patch cafe. All at a price point that screams "we are in a hotel in Granbury who thinks it is the Beverly Hilton, just minus the money, service, and accoutrements." The difference being that the restaurants in Beverly Hills actually live up to the expectations, and even they aren't so full of themselves. The experience does not even come close to living up to its price and value proposition. Save yourself the time and drive into Fort Worth or Dallas to dine at a nicer establishment that's worth the money and more in-line with the advertised expectation. Christina's: "A little restaurant trying so hard to be something it's not capable of being."

Being a semi-regular visitor to Granbury, I have always wanted to be able to visit Brew Drinkery,…read moreespecially since I've sampled many, many beers from not just the US, but from everywhere else. My first visit to this location was yesterday, a Wednesday. Two of the people there were the bartender/owner Jacoby, and Mary who was in charge of the selections. Their beer offering was not a printed list, but a list displayed on three big screen TVs. There were 40 taps and only ONE "stable", the Guinness. A few non-Texas beers, but mostly they were Texas crafts. I actually liked that because that was their goal/model. I was able to sample 7 beers I have never tried before. Considering my purchased record at my home store is 707. That being said, if you're looking for a "stable", go next door to The Filling Station. BUT, if you're willing and want to expand your pallette, and you're in town for whatever reason, this is THE place for that. All of their pints are $7-8, a very reasonable price. Came tonight because it was "pint night" featuring Cowtown Beers, four of them. Fired off a flight, enjoyed them all. $10 for all four. Oh yeah, the best part, at least for now, they have the Chimay Cinq Cents on tap for $9.50.

Apparently their website is not up to date and was hacked so they can't update the website. The menu is very limited, but still has decent options. They mainly have pizza but when I searched online it said they had all these different kind of bowls (Greek chicken bowl, Cuban bowl, etc.) Well they only have one on the menu. And the rest is pub bar food. Also it was advertised it was a bar and restaurant, not a bar that happens to serve food. Our experience wasn't terrible, the staff was very nice, we were just expecting more of a restaurant experience, vs ordering at the bar and waiting for food. Overall the food was decent. Just came out kinda slow and out of order. Probably won't be back here in the near future with kids, but if you're looking for a bar with friendly staff, this is that. The bathrooms are really clean too, so that's a plus.
