We ate lunch here and it was soooo good! The food was excellent!…read more I had a bagel dog and a peach bourbon pop tart. The sausage was lightly spicy and cooked to perfection. The peach bourbon melts in your mouth. The servings were huge to me. I took half of each home with me for dinner My mother had the chicken salad and said it was delicious. It had pieces of apple and grapes in it. For dessert, she had a cinnamon roll. It had crunchy sugar on the top for a great mouth feel. We did think it was a tad pricey for the amount of food you received - so don't be caught out on that one! They also only have cold & iced drinks, but nothing frozen. A granita or frozen coffee drink would have been perfect with my bagel dog!

Since I don't often get the chance to enjoy breakfast while visiting Granbury, we decided to stop…read moreby Cari's--a place I hadn't been to since 2018. From the start, breakfast was solid all the way around. Seating was quick (we seated ourselves), and our waitress came over almost immediately to take drink orders. When she returned, we were ready to order--which is always a minor victory when dining with my youngest grandsons. One of them eats like a champ; the other... not so much. On this visit, hash browns were the sole winner for him. As for me, I went big. I ordered the spinach and mushroom omelet topped with hollandaise sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. The breakfast also came with two large pancakes. The only minor downside was that the pancakes arrived just slightly warm--not hot. I understand they're likely made ahead and held under a heat lamp while the rest of the table's orders are finished, so it wasn't a dealbreaker, and I still enjoyed them. Overall, Cari's is a great spot for breakfast, and hopefully I won't wait another eight years before my next visit!
