So if super hot homemade salsa is your thing or good green homemade salsa is your thing, consider this place. The tacos and gorditas were both good and when "queso" is listed this is real Mexican queso fresca! I preferred the gorditas over the tacos which I guess reminded me of the empanadas and papusas from further cuisine further south of the boarder. Everyone who I was with enjoyed their food as well. If Taqueria Don Juan costs what a typical Mex restaurant does in the area I would give it 4 out of 5 stars.
