Yeah, thought it would be a good stop. Not the best. The beans weren't even cooked all the way through so got to chew some hard beans. Not the best & probably won't come back again. I ordered chilaquiles & they had chorizo in them. Never been to a place where they add that in & it overwhelmed the plate. Red sauce on the chilaquiles & then red sauce in the potatoes. Pretty good breakfast tacos although the potatoes were not cooked well so they were tough and the bacon was not cooked enough. Tortillas were great and the prices were reasonable. Easy access heading west. Not as easy if heading east. read more

The food here is very good. The table service is quite lacking. The servers hardly ever check back with you and usually do not refill your drink unless you flag them down. Counter service is very friendly. Only improvement food wise could be in the tortillas being homemade and the chips. Everything else here is 5 star food! The food is sub par. The main issue is that customers use an on coming traffic lane to enter the parking lot. Drivers cross a double yellow line into a left turn lane. Yes, the driver is trying to turn left, BUT ITS THE WRONG DIRECTION! The safety of the community is more important than your breakfast burritos. read more

Went in this morning with my mom, she ordered 2 breakfast tacos and I ordered 3. Waitress was very attentive and polite and the food was delicious and filling, while also relatively affordable. Went here this morning as we have had a couple of good experiences in the past. They were really busy, so I didn't mind having to wait (a really long time). Finally got my food, only to get home to realize they gave us someone else's food and did not get anything we ordered. Extremely disappointing, especially since what we paid for was more than what this order would have been. Don't have the time or desire to go back to try and let them make it right the second time. Just go. I had the birra tacos. My tacos came with onions in cilantro, so I stirred that into my broth. SO GOOD. You need to sneak in here and grab something even if it's to go. Bathrooms were nice and clean. :) Its a little small and just a teeny bit messy but that's because they were packed with customers. read more

Stopped in for dinner. Ordered gordita plate which was good, the chicken gordita was great the other gordita was carne asada. Was OK. Chicken was much better. Hubs had the shrimp enchiladas. They were OK. The rice n beans were on the dry side. Their chips n salsa were very good. We ordered guacamole as appetizer. Very good n fresh. Service was good too. Last time we visited was hard to enjoy meal due to so many flies. Today there were flies but not as many as the last visit. However they should consider a bug zapper or something. Super surprised! Just stopped in and it was super crowded. We were lucky to get a table. I got the taco plate with Barbacoa and carnitas and they were both incredible. Excellent, flavorful food. A little on the pricy side considering the environment, but I'm still a regular. The one issue I wish they'd work on is consistency. I order a handful of menu items, and my order usually winds up being different most of the time...Served with chips & salsa one time, not the next. Tacos served with sauces one time, not the next. I feel like it's become necessary to go down a check list to verify every detail of what's in my to-go order. Food and service is awesome. Best mexican food in town yet because the food has been consistently good since the past three times we been here. The first time was great.!The second time they got our orders wrong and server barely spoke english and we tried our phone translator to help.This third time they got everything right and we had a wonderful server. We had to wait a little longer than anticipated but it was worth the wait. We ate elotes and queso while waiting for the main meal. I am always in a hunt for a good fried fish and I was very please. My son and I had huge servings of fish and worth the price. My husband got the fajita which he was very please for the third time around. Flavor wise I would do 5 star. One of the best in Granbury, tacos are some of the best! Highly recommend the Carne Asada tacos

This is a new restaurant to Granbury. They were in a food truck. Really good barbacoa tacos. Good carne asada tacos too. It's a small place. Many of the employees dont speak English. I really don't care for that part but heck Americans dont want to work so you can't blame them too much. We will be back. read more

First visit to Los Nares and I am not sure about returning. I had the Enchilada Dinner and the Carne Asada Salad. My wife had the Taco Plate. Nothing really stood out as exceptional. The enchiladas were the best part of my order. The red sauce was good and gave the dish a very good flavor. The rice and beans were routine and came in a somewhat small serving with the three enchiladas. The Carne Dalad featured tasty beef sliced and grilled in strips and served on top of some slightly wilted lettuce and some sliced Roma tomatoes. The chips were good and the salsa was some of the best in the area. It actually had a bite to it unlike what passes for salsa in most of the local Mexican restaurants where they serve something like marinara and call it salsa. My wife was very disappointed with her tacos. They were assembled ok but the meat had a strange flavor reminiscent of being cooked in old oil. We had diet cokes and had to ask for ice and a glass since they were served in the bottle and slightly warm. I would suggest that you might give Los Nares a try since they are actually transitioning from a food truck to a brick and mortar and may improve with time. read more
