Food was delicious! We were passing through and decided to stop by for dinner. I highly recommend the noodle dishes! The texture and taste of the noodles were perfect- we got the spicy beef ramen (which came with a beef rib in the broth - A+ on presentation), and beef noodle soup. We also got the cute pig red bean Baos, and pork dumplings. The pork dumplings were very heavy- it would have been nice to have some cabbage and less salt mixed in, but the kids enjoyed so that's what counts! Only downside was the service! The vibe on the outside looks kinda beat down. But when you walk, it is well light and nice. The details are well done right from decor and menu card. We tried the shrimp dumplings, vegetable dumplings, ramen and hibachi with steak. The dumplings were different but nice. The ramen was good but not sure I'll be back for some time. Happy to see this place open up as Ramen is one of my favorites and dumplings are loved by the rest of my family. New place so nice and clean. Looks like they will have a liquor license at some point as there is a quaint little bar area in the corner. Portions are pretty big. Soup dumplings here give you 8 which is a perfect two each for our family of four. Flavors are dialed in for the Ramen. I ordered the spicy beef which comes with a giant beef rib. I even ordered a second one for $5 and it was fall-off the bone. They also serve Boba, desserts, rice dishes, coffees, teas and hibachi. Fairly big menu as you can tell. I felt like the wait staff was very nice, but a few things were forgotten. Probably can write that off to being new and will probably fix itself with some experience. The food speaks for itself as I would make a trip down here again to try more of the food. Orange chicken at $13, spicy beef ramen $17 with $5 extra rib, chicken rich $15 so prices all seem to be in line with food prices around here and at this place it is definitely a fair value. The place is nice and I would expect this level of food in a predominantly Asian market like in Carrollton H-mart area, but this place holds its own and is much closer to us in from Flower Mound/Highland Village area. Have been a long time since we had such bad ramen , dumpling and bao. The picture is quite misleading. The ramen soup is nothing but salty. The noodle , is not hand pull. The beef is not soft and tender enough. The skin of shrimp dumpling is not of the right recipe. There should be three types of flour mixing together to give the right texture , thickness , chewiness and translucency. It should be thin enough but hold the filling really well and remains its chewiness. It shouldn't be torn apart when we pick up the dumpling. The bao skin is sticky and hard while the filling is too sweet. Won't come back. read more

My husband and I have been looking for a good ramen spot and even though this is a little further away from us, the ramen was so tasty we are down to come back. The drinks are also really nice! We had the thai milk and matcha milk lattes and both tasted amazing. Since they just opened they are still training new staff, so the service was a little slow but still very friendly. Even though we went for ramen, they have such a wide variety to their menu that there is something for everyone. I'm definitely open to trying one of their dumplings next time. Chanced this chain restaurant, and I was impressed. I know good management and friendliness make a customer want to return, and this was an A on both. I was traveling. The corner spot looked like a better restaurant, so I thought, what the heck I'm going in. So glad I did. The staff were super. The waitress explained the menu, including the gluten free options, and recommended a Raman dish, as this was my first time for Raman. I also ordered a take-out for next day's lunch. She explained the sweet and hot oils. I didn't wait long when a robot strolled out with my bowl, and the waitress placed it on the table. The noodles and beef were good, not salty. The beef was tasty, and although there seemed to be gristle, the meat was fine to eat. (Another employee explained the meat to me. She must have seen my face.) The meal with the flavorful broth was delicious. The dining room is large with booths and tables, and an open kitchen. I would frequent this restaurant if I lived in the area. Our 1st time to try & definiately did not disappoint us. We had pork Boa & then habachi bowls of steak & chicken and steak & shrimp. We both had fried rice. We had excellent wait staff who was prompt and attentive. Atmosphere was nice and will be a welcome place to have a late lunch in our summer heat here in Texas. Our orders were served hot and fresh. Our steak was cooked correctly. The chicken was moist and tender. The shrimp was not overdone and hot proportion size was good and not over stuffing ourselves. The flavor was excellent so much better than the place we ate a week ago that was also new with hibachi bowls we let our waitress know that we were very happy with our orders and that we definitely will be back. The restaurant is very beautiful, the decor is chic and they have lots of cute statues that make for great ambiance. The staff is soooo friendly, very nice and inviting! The restaurant was clean and felt very new, but I was not a fan of the noodles or the service. Our server repeatedly told us they were short staffed, which I sympathize with but it did not make for an enjoyable experience. We waited a long time for our orders to arrive and when they did, they didn't come out all at once. For one person, their noodles came out long AFTER myself and the other person had finished our own noodle bowls. We thought that their order had been forgotten and had trouble flagging someone down to check on the order. My biggest gripe was with the garlic tonkatsu which was the first thing on the menu. The broth was watery, lacking the normal richness of typical ramen broths. It only had a hint of pork flavor. I did not taste any garlic flavor whatsoever. For a broth that was so lackluster, I don't think it was worth $15.95. I'll stick to my usual ramen spots for next time. read more

Giving the food a 3.5, the Pork Bun Baos were a bit bland, vinegar and chilli oil helped, ramen also was better when I added some of the chilli oil. King Ramen is THE BEST ramen spot in all of DFW. I've slowly been trying the all and nothing compares the flavor and noodle texture at King. The appetizers are great as well.
