Coldest beer in town, guaranteed Good service and good burger. That's all you need to know.

Finally decided to try Grumps Burgers yesterday. The reviews are extremely positive so my expectations were very high. Waiting 15 minutes for my burger was a good sign. I would rather wait for a freshly cooked burger than the alternatives. While waiting, I helped myself to some peanuts and watched some NFL news on TV. My Jalapeño cheeseburger and fries were brought out to the table nice and hot. I tried the cheeseburger as ordered without condiments to taste the burger. One of the best for sure. I decided to add the jalapeño ketchup to my Jalapeño cheeseburger and it was delicious. Pricey but worth the wait for a quality burger meal. Plenty of tables or high top seats for TV viewing while dining. Grumps is great!!

We stopped here for lunch based on all the hype we had read about it. This place has made all the lists - from Texas Monthly Top 50 Burgers to the local awards. Grumps did not disappoint. We were greeted warmly and friendly, Texas-style - as it always used to be. The ordering process was fast and efficient and, as the burgers are made to order and fresh, there is plenty of time to get your drinks and find a table (fingers crossed). When the food comes out to your table, it comes out hot and fresh. You are even offered additional condiments such as their in-house jalapeño ketchup, which I highly recommend. We had the double cheeseburgers with onion rings and their famous corn nuggets. All of the food was delicious and as tasty as we could have hoped for. The ambiance here is pure small town Texas, and the hospitality is top notch. We can't wait to come back for another visit soon!

On a recent road trip, while taking back roads (aka the scenic route), I became hangry. We stopped at one place, and the menu just looked ...meh. We searched for restaurants and saw Grumps Burgers, and my husband thought we should try it to see if it would solve my grumps. Lol. Grumps has a walk up counter, but they get your name and bring the food to you. It was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. Thick, juicy, tasty, and done but not overdone. It was crowded - a good sign - so when a group left, we swooped in on the table which happened to be next to a group of State Troupers - usually a good sign. They offered shelled peanuts to eat while you wait and a bucket for the shells. There were lots of local school support posters and such and they served Blue Bell Ice Cream (not free). IYKYK. I wish we'd get a Grumps closer to home. I'm getting tired of smash burgers. My only complaint is there was no gluten free option other than leaving off the bun, and I chose to eat a bun today and pay for it tomorrow.

Prices are like 2019 prices! Ambiance is very Texas and service is great! They also have peanuts as a free side. Their bacon is great, they usually cook it in jalapeños.

Always like coming here when we can. A lot better for the craft burgers than the other locations, especially the chain stores. Guy at the counter is always so nice and helpful. Such a joy. Burgers are always good. They have a few TVs playing sports when games are on. Not to noisy on most nights. Very casual place with good food.

Firstly, the burgers were 10/10! They have a very tangy mustard and with the jalapeño ketchup, thats homemade i believe, it's just a mouthful of flavor. The buns are plump and the patties are perfectly seasoned and juicy. Our server, Tay, was amazing. She knew what she was doing and it shows. The scenery is very similar to an old school diner with peanut buckets and ketchup bottles. They also have school tables in some rooms. The queso was also very good. A little pricey but it comes with what i believe is sausage and tomatoes and is similar to rotel. It comes with homemade potato chips which i thought werent gonna go with the queso as queso usually comes with tortilla chips but i was plesantly surprised. 5/5 no doubt! If they make a restaurant in Dallas i bet you theyll make money like never imagined. The burgers really remind me of Juicys in Longview TX.

Who hasn't heard of Grumps that lives in NorthTexas? Well I happened to be in Cleburne for the week and decided to give wit another try. The reviews were really good - so relying on my fellow Yelpers! Loved the decor when I walked inside. The first thing that got my attention was their salute to our Veterans and Armed Forces ! The menu was easy to read and didn't realize they serve beer ! Very nice fella took my order and pleasantly surprised that I only paid $13 for a double cheeseburger and onions rings. So they bring it to your table and ask if you need anything else. Wow! That Double Mushroom Swiss burger was huge. Not a big order of onion rings at $4 but hoping they're worth it. Took my first bite of my burger and it took some work since it was so big. Amazing burger! Big patties and great flavor. Loved the buns too. Not too much bread. The onion rings were very good too. Could have used a couple more at that price. Overall a great experience. Well deserved 5

I have been to all locations because they are so good! My favorite is the bacon cheeseburger add jalapeños and the chips. Not only is the ranch homemade but putting a chip in it is better than you can imagine. Oh and the beer - ohh the cold beer - it's the icing on the best cake you have ever had. Get there immediately - it doesn't matter which location either - they are all so good!

She was very direct and told us upfront it would be about a 20-minute wait, which I appreciated. While we waited, I sat in the car listening to the thunder and rain. There was something peaceful and simple about that moment and I loved it. My husband stayed inside to wait for the food. During that time, a couple came back in upset about the wait and asked for their money back. The owner had just returned from a family event and was clearly trying her best to make things right. Even when the couple was rude, she handled it with grace and empathy, saying, "I'm sad that we failed you." It was such a human moment. One that showed how much she cares about her customers and her business. And our hamburgers were absolutely delicious! Definitely worth the wait. I enjoyed everything about this experience. Support small businesses like this one, friends! It's a hidden gem where real people work hard and care deeply about what they serve.

The kid and I both ordered the mission burger, which is 2 smash patties, cheese, and their special sauce. I added grilled onion to mine and he ordered a side of fries. I could tell when I looked at the patties I would be disappointed. They weren't really smash patties at all, more like the size and shape of a McDonald's quarter pounder. They tasted like the prepackaged patties you would get out of a box or bag. I can't say for sure, but the quality was just not great. I've eaten my fair share of burgers around the metroplex, so I know good quality when I have it. The kid enjoyed his food and the fries were really good, hence the 3 stars. At $11 for the basic burger, I wouldn't visit again. I hate leaving reviews like this!

This is not the be all nor end all of quick eats. I'm sorry to attack your cherished Whataburger. Service was slow but we're still in the middle of the COVID recovery so no points off for that. It's not these kids fault that they're way understaffed and the young lady who did get over to take my order was pleasant and helpful. She's great. My burgers and onion rings were bagged up and ready a few minutes later. Yes, even in mid-October 2021 the dining room is closed and everything is to go. At least the counter is open - there was a queue for the drive through that went to the end of the parking lot and blocking the right lane of the street. Jeez, people! Back at the hotel room, I unwrapped and dug in. Still hot and definitely fresh. The burger tasted flame-grilled and looked just like the one I might have gotten in a Whopper from Burger King. Toppings were extremely similar (though the "hatch green chillies" are unique). It was assembled neatly and wrapped neatly. It just didn't thrill me. Again, I'm sorry to disparage what you think is the best. I think Wendy's burgers taste better. I've now had a Whataburger and I'm good. She got home and started pulling out said sandwiches and sides only to discover they had not included my intended pork sandwich. I asked the wife to call back up to them and let them know I was coming back into town to get my sandwich. $5 is $5 at this point and I wouldn't have anything but sides if I didn't head back into town. Got told when I got there by the female manager on duty tonight that I was lying and I had probably ate it already so was coming back to try and steal another from them. Long story, finally got my pork sandwich the wife paid for and, thankfully a little later I found out, a burger too. Got home, opened the pork sandwich and pathetic pork sandwich is a better name for it. Literally one small spoon size line of pork meat in the center of the otherwise dry bottom bun and four pickles with a swipe of some red sauce that smells like cheap bbq sauce on the top bun. Found out as well that they never picked up the phone the whole time I was gone to correct the issue that way so wife got a constant busy signal for over thirty minutes. Also, at least half of what we did get at first was cold (cheesy fries), burnt (onion rings), or chewy/undercooked (wacky pack chicken tenders) depending on item. Overall, the pathetic pork just cost me $5+ gas because no one wants to eat it with how it looks and wasted gas driving back and forth from Cleburne for this pathetic pork sandwich. Moral of the story: Don't waste your time or money.
