    Food trucks at Grub Hubs
    Jan W.

What a cool lunch spot in downtown Modesto! The choices of food was outstanding! There are food trucks that serve everything from mini donuts and churros to Italian food, American fair, like macaroni and cheese, bowls, andsmash burgers. Anyone craving the usual Mexican foods can choose from several trucks. There are outdoor restrooms and outdoor seating and it was really clean. We had a great time visiting Modesto GrubHub's for the first time today. We tried the Elote Tamales from one truck, the spicy elote fries from another one and finished with filled churro bites. Most (if not all) took cards or cash.

What a fun spot!! Plenty of food choices. I chose The Mac Box and had the Pork Belly Mac. It was delicious and a large serving, so easy to share or make two or three meals out of it. The pork belly was cooked perfect with great flavor and the house Mac was the best I've had out at a restaurant. So many different cheeses I can't even remember them all. So creamy and cheesy!!! So happy we gave it a try.

Great place to find a grouping of local food trucks, which are definitely a step above a roach coach, and they even have a gourmet and, or specialty truck or two. Most of the trucks are Mexican food, with some occasional rotations of other food types like Greek, Indian, Italian, or American. I think it is all a matter of when you roll up. I have been 3 or 4 times now, and no matter which truck I have chosen, it has always delivered with deliciousness, and the service has always been friendly.

We stopped in for a few tacos. I had a few shrimp tacos and my friend had a few beef tacos, I think. I don't remember what he ate because I was concerned about my shrimp tacos. They were perfect. Cooked just enough with shredded cabbage and a light tasty sauce. Definitely a place I'd go to again when downtown.

Birria plate $12 and they don't add cheese expensive compared to San Diego birria quesotacos

Since I live in Southern California, it has been two years since my last visit. There are definitely more food trucks and tables to eat at, which is fantastic. The place could use a good cleaning, and I believe they should hire hourly workers to clean up after the guests. That will just keep people coming back and enjoying the food and experience. At Twitsties Pretzels I bought an original buttered pretzel with no salt, and it was soft and fresh. It was tasty with nacho cheese. Then I went to the Churro stand, which is my family's favorite dessert truck. The hot churro bites with Nutella drizzle and fresh strawberries were delectable. Finally, I ordered a gourmet Oreo shake from The Sweet Lab, and all of their drinks look so creative and fun! The Oreo shake is topped with two mini powdered donuts, chocolate, sprinkles, and whipped cream. It was a treat!

When passing through and need a quick bite on the go this is the place to go has everything from a cup of coffee, Champurrado for the Latin community to hot cocoa plus tacos tortas to tamales this the place to go. This is like the pop up tents down south, this place is one you got to check out as the food is delicious and very authentic Mexican food. I give this place a five star:)

A family member recommended this place. I decided to give it a try. There's some parking inside and some on the street. I love the amount of food truck options you had. Mainly Mexican food. I love that they have bathrooms. The first place we went to was a shipping container that sold pretzels. I loved this place and most reasonable pricing. My son loved it a pizza pretzel for $7. Second place was a ceviche spot named savory ceviche. I saw a ceviche in a pineapple but she had no pineapple so I was a little annoyed about that. The price said $13 and when I saw the charge later it said $16 didn't like that. They were also sold out of a bubble gum drink my son wanted. The ceviche was okay and portion was good. The second place we tried was a habachi grill truck steak and shrimp was I think $22. That placed was really good if you're not to hungry two people can share that. We had the aguas frescas we had two and it was $14 they were good but kinda pricey. My son had the Mac and cheese truck he ordered honey chicken Mac and cheese for $19. Pretty pricey but my son loved it and it was a large portion so it ended up being two meals. Overall okay but we liked the option and honestly if my kids loved this place even if it's pricey we will be back.

We followed our noses and chose El Mexicano Food Truck! We're so glad we chose this spot. I loved my flautas and my husband enjoyed the quesabirrias. Everything was so good and we were able to find seating nearby. I look forward to coming back and trying more items!

    The Churro Spot assorted cup

The Churro Spot always has the best Churros in town. I was there this past Friday night because I had to have something tasty & warm. These went perfect with my Starbucks. Great job guys! I'll drive across town just to get these.

YAY, my photo is now showcased as cover photo for this business! So by the pictures you can tell how tasty and the birria tacos were! the plate of tacos was delish that even the consume dipping sauce made it taste extra better! Def got my fix on and was a happy camper after eating my food. Alongside the birria tacos I also had the papusas and the mango fresa drink in a large size due to the heat wave out there! The papusa were mediocre and I've had much better in the bay area. However, the mango fresa from the freshly squeezed juice/fruit truck was delish! not to mention the lines were long so we knew we had to take a chance with them on their drinks! It was well worth it too! BTW, I cant wait to get more food ad grub the next visit! I was too full to order some churros! but I promised myself the next visit I wont order too much food and save room for them! Since they have regular and stuffed churros I'll def make sure to try them all my next visit! DEF a fan and can't wait to come back for some more good grub!

Great Go-To spot for couples or groups! Several options to satisfy any appetite and cravings; if you don't mind outdoor dining. There are shaded or umbrella areas.

We stopped here on the way home from running a bunch of errands and oh my goodness. We were beyond satisfied! We ate at the truck "Taqueria La Guadalupana" and we didn't regret it. My husband ordered the Quesabirria.. of course I tried it too, so amazing. The food was served so fresh and hot and that was plus. Definitely order this when you're in the mood for some meat, it's a lot of meat. He also asked for pickled jalapenos on the side and that took it up a notch as well. I ordered the Torta with Asada and it was toasted perfectly with so much flavor. We both loved it. We were full but we weren't so full that we wish we didn't. It definitely is a place we'll be going back to. This Grub hubs Spot has A LOT of options from Kebab to Italian to Sweet treats. There's even a pretzel truck and a specialty hot dog truck also. I recommend going on a cool sunny day. It is really nice just to sit outside under the table shades and enjoy some fresh air while you have lunch!

I had went in upon opening time, so my wait was a little bit, but I was not complaining because you know what they say: "Greatness comes when you build them up one by one." I got their hamburger with the extra cheese, and curly fries. The patty was extra juicy, and the brioche buns were toasted really well. I especially like how they added on the cheese after the patty was marinated on the grill for quite a while, but not too long to the point all of the juice was sucked up. The only down side to the food: the prices. Be prepared to spend quite a bit on lunch if you decide to go to this place, because they do end up charging quite a bit more than what the regular places around Downtown would. But the IPA beers make up for it, so it's also worth a bang for your buck. Hospitality was pretty top-notch -- my order was taken in an orderly fashion, and they even apologized for the wait as well. I hope Scratch Cookery stays around for a long while so that people can try out such majestic wonders this establishment has to offer! Ambiance was great, and I'd definitely be back again!
