Everything is in buk, too. 25 lb bags of sugar, whisks the size of baseball bats, gallon sized bottles of Sriracha sauce and more! Basically anything you'd need to run a bar or restaurant is here. What I found most impressive was the whole goats and lambs in the freezer section. It was both morbid and mouthwatering at the same time. Strange combo right?

There were popular brands with a large selection from each such as Fableism, Ruby Star Society, Sarah Hearts, etc. I ended up with some gorgeous deadstock cotton seersucker, out of my comfort zone but very special. One critique is that their bottomweight and coating section was fairly limited, but I'm assuming that they were slowly transitioning into Spring/Summer choices at that time. Everything felt high quality and intentionally selected, not at all like the big box stores. Pricing was on-par with most independent stores - not cheap, but worth it. I hear that they have sales every once in awhile so I will be on the lookout. The day I went, it was absolutely packed! The parking lot is relatively small so you might have to get lucky or circle around a few times when you visit.

The store is easy to navigate, clean and aisles are wide to accommodate carts as needed. There aren't a ton of choices but many of the items they carry are great deals, without the madness that comes with shopping a larger warehouse store. Another wonderful thing about this store is the service. The service is fast, efficient and always friendly. There is particular dude who might be the manager (beard, hilarious, kind) who usually makes us laugh with some random comment while quickly facilitating our order.

That said, the customer service at self checkout has consistently been disappointing. Sometimes you have to press the assistance button, and other times an employee comes over automatically to scan heavier items. Unfortunately, I'd say 9 out of 10 interactions I've had there have felt cold or unfriendly. During my visit today, the employee walked over, silently scanned my case of water, and walked away without saying a single word. No hello, no "have a nice day," nothing. I told her thank you, but the interaction just felt awkward... On another visit, an employee actually snatched my fiancé's membership card right out of his hand instead of simply asking for it. Little interactions like these add up and leave you feeling more like an inconvenience than a customer... I also recently spent quite a while looking for a specific product. After checking everywhere I could think of, I asked an employee for help. She said she could "try" to help, but she was clearly busy pushing a cart somewhere else. She pointed me towards the front of the store and kept going. I ended up asking another employee near the front of the store, who also just directed me back to a general section. Thankfully, after looking around on my own, I eventually found it. I completely understand that employees get busy, but when the store layout changes so often, especially when they have new warehouse sales, it would definitely be nice to get a little more helpful assistance with finding items. I've had much friendlier and more helpful experiences at this location in the past, which is why these recent visits have been disappointing. It's still a clean, well stocked Costco, and I genuinely like shopping here. Every time I come here, I'm impressed by the huge entrance and the unique hilly layout surrounding the warehouse. The parking lot is very large, and the store itself is always well organized and easy to navigate. I love Costco overall. Their deals are incredible, and honestly, coming here every couple of weeks is one of my favorite things to do. It does get extremely busy on the weekends, so if you prefer a less crowded experience, I would recommend visiting on a weekday. That said, if you don't mind the crowds and parking situation, weekend shopping is still worth it. During my latest visit, I picked up Pressed Juicery products that were on sale for only $13, which was a great deal. They also had croissants and plenty of bakery items available. The selection is always excellent, and I appreciate how Costco keeps its product offerings streamlined, making it easier to choose between brands without feeling overwhelmed. The service here is great as well. Employees are helpful, and the checkout process is efficient. Just remember to have your membership card ready since you'll need to scan it both when entering the warehouse and at checkout. Overall, this is a fantastic Costco location that I always enjoy visiting.

I will say that this Costco was more on the spacious side. Possibly due to it being in the city. Everything was organized and clean. It was a pleasant trip. And for how packed the parking lot was, the inside wasn't bad at all. This was also my first Costco with a car wash outside. Don't know how common a Costco car wash is but they have one there.

update: bumping + a star after returning here a few times!…read more positives: huge shoutout to shy, the membership supervisor! got absolutely excellent help from her several times and felt like my membership problems (canceling a korean membership and beginning an american membership) was handled really thoroughly. in fact all the membership services staff and food court staff were very kind, definitely 5 star service there :) i think the like for food can get insane long but because they use a present receipt and get your food instead of a wait for your ticket to be called system, you don't have problems with your order ticket getting lost, which has happened to me at the kirkland location, and the line moves reasonably fast! negatives: the traffic can be quite, quite bad and i think the exit door staff could be a bit kinder, i tried to access the membership services desk via the exit and they kind of rudely directed me to the entrance despite the desk being all the way around the store by the exit, maybe this is a space planning shortcoming and a hectic time for the staff, but i didn't appreciate the tone, regardless.

This was pre-COVID, probably 10 months ago. Goldwell, always out of colors and always the same colors. You'd think they'd figured that out and fix that problem. Now let me start with staff. They're the rudest most unfriendly I've ever encountered with the exception of one. I now only go when I need to. I've opened wholesale accounts with most lines that would let me. Some won't allow it because Cosmoprof is their distributor.
