Kacy is big on progression and basically operates under the assumption that you can always go up in weight, which has pushed my strength up (especially hip thrusts and RDLs). It's small group training, which keeps the energy up because everyone's working at the same time. He'll keep you accountable and make sure you finish your sets and there's a decent chance you'll leave with a random nickname you didn't ask for but it does keep things entertaining. In my first month I've already seen measurable changes in strength and body composition, so it's been interesting to see the progress show up pretty quickly. Curious to see what the next couple months look like.

We met with Kacy in person, where he clearly explained how his program works, reviewed pricing, and discussed the nutrition expectations that accompany the training. He was very straightforward, professional, and understanding--especially recognizing that it can be difficult to transition away from a previous coach. Training began shortly after. Sessions can be busier during certain days and times, typically running 60-90 minutes, with multiple clients training simultaneously. Despite this, you receive excellent value for the cost. The pricing includes gym access, which is a great benefit. Kacy maintains a professional environment while keeping sessions engaging, motivating, and appropriately challenging. It's important to note that this is primarily a group training format. While Kacy provides guidance and instruction, he is not overseeing every single repetition. For those who are completely new to lifting, discussing one-on-one sessions would be beneficial. Overall, we highly recommend Kacy. Thank you, Kacy, for your patience, professionalism, and continued support

Personal Training:…read more I am incredibly fortunate to have found such an incredible personal trainer In Jennifer P. at GetUFit. Jennifer has transformed my perception of weight training from something intimidating to an empowering journey, particularly with functional strength training. Her profound knowledge in fitness, coupled with her patient and empathetic approach, has not only built my confidence but also guided me towards achieving my fitness goals. Beyond workouts, her nutritional guidance has been invaluable, making a holistic difference in my life. Massage: I have had the pleasure of receiving massages from both Lorna and Bejon. Both are very professional and experts in their craft. As a runner and a cyclist, I appreciate a good massage as a part of my recovery and ongoing body maintenance routine. While they are different in styles, they will both get you back to feeling your best. Jennifer has done a great job of finding two excellent masseuse's. Lorna: While I am sure she could do any style of massage that is requested of her, I always request a deep tissue sports massage. Lorna provides an excellent massage and is able to get down deep into the tissue and get rid of any knots that are there. I always feel very relaxed and loose after the session. Lorna provides an excellent traditional deep tissue massage. Bejon: He is a running coach and is very familiar with the needs of athletes. He practices a unique no-pain style. His massage feels very much like a Swedish style relaxation massage, but when he finds a knot or spasm, he is able to get it to release in a very gentle way. I have had countless massages over the years and I have never experienced anything quite like it. If you don't like a traditional deep tissue massage and the soreness that occurs the next day or so, but need some therapy to help with your training, I would highly recommend Bejon.

I was in my mid 40s and starting from absolute zero: I knew nothing about what exercises to try or how to use the various machines. I had only ever used a treadmill and exercise bike, but found them so boring that it was hard to stick with it. Thanks to Jennifer, I went from being apprehensive to looking forward to exercising for the first time! She walks me through each exercise, makes sure I do not re-aggrevate my old back and hip issues, and importantly, keeps each session fun. I am sadly only in the area for one semester, but working with Jennifer in this short time has not only transformed my health, but also my entire outlook on exercise!

One day, I arrived late because of traffic, and Stephanie addressed me in a sharp, confrontational tone. From that point on, Stephanie consistently avoided speaking to me while engaging with other members, which created an unwelcoming atmosphere. Despite this, I continued attending in order to finish the classes I had already paid for. About a month later, Stephanie confronted me in the middle of a workout with all other members present. This was not only uncomfortable but also highly inappropriate. Later that same day, Stephanie texted me saying it would be best if I left the studio and refunded my remaining classes minus a processing fee. When I asked about the processing fee, she never responded. I ended up disputing this fee with my credit card company and it was refunded to me. I'm sharing my experience so others can be aware of how concerns and interactions may be handled by Stephanie. While the workouts themselves were fine, Stephanie's unprofessional behavior and lack of communication are a glaring example of how this business is run. I do not believe I am the first person to have this type of experience based on other reviews.

I am so glad I finally worked up the courage to reach out and quickly learned all my fears were unfounded. I truly felt safe and cared for at this micro gym from day one. I purchased a 10 session package to make sure our styles and personalities were a good fit. Needless to say, it has been a wonderful training relationship as P is knowledgeable and carefully programs workouts based on each client's needs and goals. After having worked with P for some time now, I can confidently say that in my 40s I'm stronger than I've ever been. When I met with her, she told me it was completely free, but required a $500 deposit that would be returned to me if I met my goal at the end of the program. I told her I wasn't comfortable with that since it was advertised as free. I let her know I needed time to think about it and that I would like to discuss with my husband. Her response was to "call my husband now" because she needed to know since the program started on Monday. Even more uncomfortable, I left and did not join. It was clearly false advertising, a money grab, and her tactics were manipulative at best. I would get occasional emails and texts from Ash. Once I unsubscribed from her emails, the texts really started coming in. I blocked each number but somehow a new number would text me. In December 2019, her texts started again and she was sending text messages at 3:05 AM. I again blocked the phone number. Last night, I received another text from a fifth phone number. I texted the number back in an attempt to express my dissatisfaction one on one and never received a response. I am now leaving this review, because after 3 years, I have had enough. This is another request to be removed from all communication with you. I recommend Ash be upfront about her financial expectations from new clients. She should attempt to advertise true and accurate information about her programs instead of luring and scamming people. I hope this review makes people aware that at the heart of it, Ash is interested in your money, not your health.
