Staff is super nice and friendly. The gym does run its A/C. Thank you for not being cheap because I don't know who wants to workout in a hot and stinky gym. Members keep to themselves--reasons why I have left other gyms. I'm giving it a 5 (but really a 4.5). I wish they had more/better equipment. They really need machines similar to Gold's Gym. Gold's has more leg machines but their stuff is always broken lol. Fit 19 has some repetitive and hardly-used equipment. I love that you can go into the studio and access all the kettlebells/weights/bars/mats This is usually restricted in other gyms. They often do not let you use weights in the studios at other places. The turf area is nice as well and is always kept clean and organized. People don't leave weights all around the gym--like at other gyms. The equipment is rarely broken like at other gyms with higher price points. You'll be lucky if LA Fitness' cardio machines are working. The spin bike room is so nice compared to other gyms as well. There's a lot more bikes compared to other spin rooms. All in all, you get what you pay for and in my opinion, I'm getting more than what I pay for--$10 a month. It's not a high-fees micro-managed establishment like most lower priced gyms.

The tourney ran into the evening. As you can imagine, plenty contestants and spectators grew hungry and thirsty. + Nice selection of healthy snacks and drinks though. - No weather shelter over the pb courts. He assured me that he would oversee my training plan, even on days I worked with another trainer. I trained both with the owner and a second trainer. My sessions with the owner were positive, and I felt the workouts were appropriate. However, the issue arose with the second trainer. Although I was paying the higher rate specifically because the owner said he would supervise all programming, that oversight did not happen in practice. At one point, I communicated that I was experiencing pain in my right hip/groin area and asked to scale things back. Despite this, the trainer had me perform exercises like barbell squats and farmer carries. I explicitly asked whether these were safe given my condition, and I was assured they were. They were not. Following these sessions, I was later diagnosed with a labral tear, which has significantly impacted my mobility and required extensive recovery, time, and financial investment. I am so glad I finally worked up the courage to reach out and quickly learned all my fears were unfounded. I truly felt safe and cared for at this micro gym from day one. I purchased a 10 session package to make sure our styles and personalities were a good fit. Needless to say, it has been a wonderful training relationship as P is knowledgeable and carefully programs workouts based on each client's needs and goals. After having worked with P for some time now, I can confidently say that in my 40s I'm stronger than I've ever been. Maybe some day, some one in corporate will update the Yelp listing to LA Fitness from Esporta Fitness (like they did for the La Habra location / my weekend gym).

The restrooms haven't got any better and the locker rooms need to be updated SERIOUSLY LA Fitness have such nicer facilities that it's almost worth it for me to drive up to the one off of the 210 Fwy. This one does have an indoor track but a lot of the equipment gets broken and it takes a while for it to be replaced or fixed. Some of the rubber handles on the weights are ripped or barely hanging on. On the LAT Pulls they no longer have the little 'add on' weights and on many of the weights the cords are missing from the pin. The staff are friendly when you walk in though so for THAT they'll get the additional 3rd star. Respectfully Reviewed

First I went on the app and interacted with their AI assistant to try resolving this - but it referred my concerns to an employee who never responded. Then I called the Upland location that made the mess, but the manager said he couldn't do anything to refund the charge, and proceeded to try putting the blame on me for not getting the cancellation of my old membership number in writing! Apparently he thinks I should have done a better job of supervising their employee's work in the computer? Or maybe I should have known that their employee changing my membership number would create such a mess? I asked for a corporate number, and the manager said there isn't one, but I could email customer service. Problem is, he gave me an incorrect email address. So I tried to call the corporate customer service number (which I got from another location), and the automated system wouldn't do anything but circle me back to the Upland gym location. Then I scoured the Internet for a good corporate email address, and sent my email - but no response. I knew that 24 Hr Fitness had to change things after their bankruptcy, but for them to turn their customer service into such a nightmare is unbelievable. In a nutshell, AVOID THIS PLACE. It's not just my membership issue. The complaints from other reviewers on here are also accurate. Poor maintenance, filthy locker rooms, broken equipment, rules that aren't being enforced at all, and days when the music is cranked so loud you can't hear what's playing on your own earbuds. Just one big poorly managed mess.

Love the vibe…read more Loved that Addy, the young front desk lady who despite scanning my card showing my prepaid ( annual till 6/2026) any club access nationwide still offered to give me a tour of the club making sure I knew where everything was and I was comfortable. Great energy that starts up front. Love the indoor running track upstairs. ( 1/8 mile). Love the massive and spread out weight room allowing for a great, uninterrupted workout at my pace. Love the clean locker room. Love that the members look relaxed and everyone returns their dumbbells to the original spots and wipes down the equipment. Love that as soon as I walked out of the gym and looked up north that smile got even bigger with the beautiful views of the San Gabriel Mountains.Gorgeous! This could absolutely be a model club representing LA Fitness worldwide in how to run, maintain a club, and how to treat members. Love it!
