Paradise truly has the best machines, and even when it's busy, you can always get your full workout in because there's such a great variety and volume of quality equipment. That alone sets them apart. The environment is friendly, fun, and upbeat, which makes it a place you actually look forward to going to. What I also love is that there's access to trainers for both beginners and more advanced lifters, so no matter where you're at in your fitness journey, you'll feel comfortable and supported here. The owner, Elsa, is incredibly accommodating and clearly takes pride in her business. It's obvious she invests both time and money into making this gym stand out. The layout is well thought out and flows in a way that just makes sense--you can tell a lot of planning went into it. The gym is very well equipped with all the extras you might need to do any workout. She also has more upcoming renovations planned which shows she's committed to keeping the gym fresh and continually improving. I'm excited to see what Elsa has in store. Overall, Paradise Gym stands above the rest. Highly recommend!

Machines and equipment look cool but then the dirtiness and lack of buttoning up items against the walls and electrical conduit make it seem dirty and unfinished. Don't try to give somebody friendly advice because you've been lifting for 30yrs because they'll get mad at you for talking to other people that you didn't come with. They want those people to pay them for advice and some of them don't deserve it when you overhear them talking to their clients. I won't talk about the bathrooms. They've already been talked about.

Chuze Fitness is a modern and popular gym club that offer a multiple membership tier at an affordable price. They have over two dozen locations in So California. This location is at Foothill blvd. Amenities are clean, spacious and modern. Weights are amazingly new as well as cardio machines. Staff are affable and competent. Locker room (Men) is spacious and odorless with functioning showers. Overall, I highly recommend you join and get fit. :D lol.

One thing I've always appreciated is how welcoming the entire staff is. Everyone knows my daughter by name, and when we walk in she runs around giving hugs because the environment is just that friendly. The Kids Club is amazing. My daughter loves it and feels really comfortable with the team members there. They're always great about giving me updates when I pick her up, which I really appreciate as a parent. She even went through part of her potty training while attending Kids Club, and the staff were really supportive. She loves the arts and crafts (we have a few displayed on our fridge) and has made some sweet little friendships there. I mostly take the Pilates classes and really enjoy them. The instructors are great, and I love the outdoor workout area too. A couple small suggestions: it would be nice if Kids Club hours started a little earlier or if there were more Pilates classes available on the weekends. The Saturday Pilates classes are currently before Kids Club opens, which makes it tough for parents to attend. Adding a couple more StairMasters would also be great since those tend to be busy, and improving the taste of the water would be a nice touch. Parking can sometimes be a little tricky, but honestly it's not as bad as some reviews make it sound. There's parking in the back of the gym that I think a lot of people don't realize is there. Overall, it's been a really positive experience and I appreciate how welcoming the gym is for both adults and kids.

Curl Fitness was originally a Crunch Fitness, which is why you'll still see some of the old Crunch…read moretrainers working there. The Pros: The biggest advantage of this gym is the variety of classes, like dance. Their equipment is also top-notch, especially the free weights--they use some of the best brands in the industry. Because of the high-end equipment, you'll notice that the membership fees are on the higher side. The Cons (Hygiene & Maintenance): Despite the nice gear, the facility is extremely dirty and feels like it's never been cleaned. The handles on the treadmills and ellipticals are often sticky, and there is a thick layer of dust underneath the machines. It's gross! If you've ever been to the Planet Fitness in Diamond Bar, you'll realize just how dirty Curl actually is. The most shocking thing I've witnessed is the cleaning process. The cleaning lady uses the same brush to scrub the inside of the toilet bowl and then the toilet seat. Seeing her scrub the bowl and then immediately wipe the seat with the same tool is horrifying! To be clear, she works very hard and I'm not blaming her personally--management simply hasn't provided her with the proper tools or training. Additionally, there is a light in the shower area that has been out forever and never gets repaired. Atmosphere & Service: Another bizarre thing is that they don't turn on the AC during the winter. It gets incredibly hot inside. Perhaps that's better for the elderly members, but it's uncomfortable for a real workout. Furthermore, the front desk staff is completely indifferent; when you walk in, they treat you like you're invisible. Bottom Line: I only kept this membership because my child has an enrichment class nearby, and it's a convenient place to wait. If my kid weren't taking classes in this area, I definitely wouldn't keep this membership.

The worst part is they hog machines, they'll do 1 set then go walk around or be on their phone. Raise the membership fee to get them out. Make sure to go month to month, if you try to cancel early on the contract you have to pay the remainder of the months left. The equipment is decent except the leg press machine, it's terrible. To actually get on a machine since there are so few you should avoid this gym like the plague between 1 and 8 pm. I workout around 4 am and the environment is great. Just wish I could go during the middle of the day too. Restrooms are dirty, only 3 showers in the men's locker room and the "sauna" is a temu sauna, very small that fits only 2 people. The gym is a massive warehouse with plenty of rigs, new equipment, and incredible space for your workouts. Members keep to themselves--reasons why I have left other gyms. I'm giving it a 5 (but really a 4.5). I wish they had more/better equipment. They really need machines similar to Gold's Gym. Gold's has more leg machines but their stuff is always broken lol. Fit 19 has some repetitive and hardly-used equipment. I love that you can go into the studio and access all the kettlebells/weights/bars/mats This is usually restricted in other gyms. They often do not let you use weights in the studios at other places. The turf area is nice as well and is always kept clean and organized. People don't leave weights all around the gym--like at other gyms. But this is not a gym; it is a training facility where you work with trainers to tackle your physical goals. Next, this is about my trainer, Kevin Abandy. Kevin has been my trainer for exactly 8 weeks now and he is awesome! I made the decision to get a trainer after my birthday to truly invest in myself. You can invest in your own skills and education, but the return is almost always indirect. But with a trainer, specifically Kevin, I gained 8 lbs of muscle mass and lost 8% body fat (approx. 13-lbs of fat) after 8 weeks of training with him. Also, at the start of my training, I had back pain (from past injury to T12) and knee pains (from under the kneecap). Through Kevin's program and coaching, my pain has been reduced to near 0 with full mobility -- like squatting all the way down and up with 200-lbs of weight on my shoulders with no knee pain. I would give a 1-star review to keep it from getting crowded, but it would be hard for me to not tell others about the good that comes out of this place. My mom is 70 and she's training with Kevin too! And the story is the same for her... knee pains - GONE. Back pains - GONE. If you're reading this and decide to get a consultation with Kevin, please let him know you saw Alex's review so he knows his method is making an impact.
