I really hate write this review, but I have to. I did meal prep with chef Lala last summer and I enjoyed the meals and had seamless delivery. I got booked on a really big contract for work which required weekly travel. I let her know I needed to end my meal service since I was going to be traveling. Prior to cancelling, I requested a refund for incorrect charges. In August, I was charged for three weeks of meals that I didn't order because I was traveling during that time as well. We had a phone call and got on the same page about the refund amount. She confirmed that I could receive the funds back via Zelle. Well, fast forward 10 months later and I still haven't received my money back. I stopped following up in January because it became clear that this company had no intention of giving me my money back. I know this is a small and woman owned business, so I really hate to leave a bad review. But I think falsely charging me and then ghosting is incredibly unnecessary and unprofessional. Be mindful of this when using their services and always reconcile the charges on your card with what you actually ordered. read more
