I really hate write this review, but I have to. I did meal prep with chef Lala last summer and I enjoyed the meals and had seamless delivery. I got booked on a really big contract for work which required weekly travel. I let her know I needed to end my meal service since I was going to be traveling. Prior to cancelling, I requested a refund for incorrect charges. In August, I was charged for three weeks of meals that I didn't order because I was traveling during that time as well. We had a phone call and got on the same page about the refund amount. She confirmed that I could receive the funds back via Zelle. Well, fast forward 10 months later and I still haven't received my money back. I stopped following up in January because it became clear that this company had no intention of giving me my money back. I know this is a small and woman owned business, so I really hate to leave a bad review. But I think falsely charging me and then ghosting is incredibly unnecessary and unprofessional.
