Mashed potatoes and gravy are a personal favorite and these were no exception. Service was quick but we were there on the earlier side of dinnertime. As someone generally has an aversion to fish, I was shocked when I took a bite of the black cod and found it tasty! It virtually has 0 fishy smell or taste, and all the flavor seems to come from the sauce and mushrooms around it. We finished off our meal with the sticky toffee pudding which was sooo good! It was gone in seconds and if I had an unlimited budget, we definitely would've gotten more. Highly recommend coming to Hearthstone for a nice meal in Breck. Service and hospitality were very nice - a manager came around to check in on every table to ensure that everyone was having a good experience. The restaurant is interestingly located inside an antique house!
