The employee was VERY friendly when we went in last night, and she would check up on us every so often. It wasn't too busy, but there were other customers looking around when we went in. Honestly, I do not buy often from local stores because the selections are average and the markups make me sad. But Grove had an excellent selection, good pricing and a very cute store with nice staff. Plus they have a rewards program and who can be mad about earning money on your adult purchases. read more

This is overall a very nice establishment, and have a good quality selection of toys and lingerie. I must say though; it is a major turnoff to walk in and overhear some of the conversations the women have behind the register. I've come in a handful of times during the day and have overheard the Latina woman at the register make rude remarks and gossip about some of the customers or other staff members. Came here the other day, I have a purse backpack, fairly small and was asked to leave it in my car or up at the counter. I did so willingly, but upon further review I noticed several ladies carrying large purses and was not asked to hold them at the counter. Not sure how an extra strap on my bag justifies being a security risk. Will not be coming back; since I can't bring in my purse-backpack. read more

This is an AWESOME store. Fear not shy ones this is a very nice, friendly, well-lit, clean, organized and WELL-STOCKED store with an amazing variety of products for men, women and couples. There are no magazines or videos here and you will hear the radio in the store and nothing uncomfortable. It was all ladies of an age range that worked there, so no strange guy watching you from the counter. It was about 10 women and 3 guys in there on a weekday early evening. I went in there with my wife and we were quite comfortable looking at all the goodies. This isn't some little shop that has a couple things in it and that's it. They have a massive selection of outfits (yes wigs too and tons 'o' stockings) for ladies (from petite to voluptuous) and at fair prices. I believe there was a dressing room in there but I could be wrong. They have a NICE party selection - games, party favors, themed candies, etc. They have adult toys and hey ladies, you have quite the selection to choose from. There must be a hundred or more devices easily with many display models. For us guys there's a good selection too from the typical inexpensive devices to the multi-hundred dollar items if that's your thing. There is a large selection of fragrances, lotions, candles, and treats (avoid the pop rocks guys). Wow we will definitely go back to stock up. read more

So I really hope that my grandmother never gets access to my Yelp reviews, because I absolutely have to give a 5-star review to this place! Let's be real--shopping at an adult store like Groove can be kind of intimidating for the casual consumer. Even if you go in with a basic idea of what you're looking for, the adult novelty industry has refined everything down to such a point where it's almost unrecognizable from the thing you *thought* you were coming in to buy. Most of the big-lot adult stores I've been to in the past have always had people working there who would classically let me know that I could just ask for their help if I had any questions, but when faced with a shelf of adult-pleasure-tools that are sometimes unrecognizable from ancient torture devices, it's hard to find the bravery to actually ask what something is or where it goes or how it's supposed to be used. That's basically the experience I was expecting when my partner and I visited Groove this past weekend in hopes of finding something to enhance Valentine's Day. After a bit of perusing the store, one of the sales representatives, Victoria, stepped over to us and without hesitation helped us through every question we could have needed answered. I've encountered a lot of great customer service since I became a member of Yelp, but my visit to Groove this weekend left me feeling like Yelp should allow for a 6-star review for each member to give out once per year. Because this is the review that I'd be leaving it for. Victoria was seriously one of the best examples of prompt, professional, and friendly customer service that I think I've ever encountered in my life. Although my partner and I decided to spend a bit more than we had initially planned, Victoria was able to sign us up for a couple of store discounts, making it a bit easier to invest in the higher priced products. So to anyone looking for *that kind of thing*, I highly recommend starting with Groove! I absolutely love this place. The girls where so nice and friendly they did not Impose on me or follow me around or overly ask if I needed help. People complain that no one helps them but honestly they are not supposed to really impose on you when it's something very intimate. I loved that I wasn't followed around and I was actually given room to look and explore My only suggestion would be getting some videos in there.
