What an experience!! It was my first time ever going to a cycling class and it was actually really fun. Someone came and gave me a little run down on how everything works and helped me clip into the pedals which was so helpful. The class has loud music going with the lights going from dim to pitch black. They provide ear plugs which I recommend getting because the music is blasting. The instructor did a great job keeping it fun and motivating the class. They also provide nice cooling towels following the class. Be prepared to leave super sweaty and with a red face. There's also cubbies and lockers to keep all your belongings.

Free supplies in the ladies restroom!

Looking for a fun, upbeat and challenging workout? LOOK NO FURTHER! This place is 10/10 one of my favorite workout activities! The facility is super clean, and when you walk in a fresh aroma hits you. The classes are 45 minutes and the trainers do such an excellent job of keeping it fun and engaging as they coach and encourage you to keep pushing through the rhythms and beats. My favorite part is that you ride in the semi dark with ambient lighting so you can sit down and take breaks as needed. Judgment free zone! The vibe is unbeatable and I always leave feeling inspired and proud. After the workout they give you a fresh damp towel to wipe off that smells like eucalyptus(not sure if that's right but it's so amazing!) Still not sold? They offer your first ride for FREE!! just check their IG highlights and book your free ride. This is how I got hooked!

Grit cycle is located upstairs near the Whole Foods and Chase. Parking is available. Fun class! Love the energy and vibe of the instructor. I took Kelly. She super motivating and fit! The staff is friendly and helpful. They help you get set up on the bike. I recommend to get there 15-20 minutes earlier if this is your first class. So you have enough time to get set up (bike, shoes, weights, etc). Pros + Lockers/storage available. + 2 water refilling stations + clean bathrooms + towels available outside in the cubby and on the bikes. + they provide a cooling towel after the class which is refreshing and smells like eucalyptus + first class is free, which you can sign up on their website. They also provide free rentals on your first ride. After $2 for rentals. Cons - once the class got started, the door kept opening because of late comers which really effects the vibe of the room and the instructors. It's super distracting because the room is dark and then you see this bright light and people trying to get set up on their bike.

It's an incredible mix of aerobic conditioning and weight training, and the variety keeps me coming back. I never thought I would enjoy running on a treadmill, but somehow I actually love it here. Absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to switch things up while still getting a fantastic workout.

The instructors are supportive and welcoming and I really enjoy the group class environment. Plus the 50% off the first class didn't hurt. The classes range from beginner to advanced. If you are new to Pilates take the Reformer Essentials to get your footing and learn the basics. For the more intermediate to advanced I highly recommend Reformer Mix with instructor Chelsea. With Chelsea I experience a full body workout with different routines every week using all of the equipment . I have truly stepped up my pilates game with Chelsea. The Reformer Sculpt class is also a excellent option for an advanced class that does exactly what the class title says. Instructor/owner Eden is my fave for Sculpt. The studio offers yoga classes and these have been a game changer. Instructor Brooke is an amazing yoga + pilates instructor who is down to earth and very encouraging. Instructor Consuelo is peaceful and intentional with Gentle Yoga Slow Flow for a more easy and meditative flow. If you're in or near Long Beach check out the studio. They offer classes from 6am - 7pm. 5 stars

Mayweather took me to the deep water, leaving me blown up (gasping for air)…read more Attending the Badges & Boxing Elite Event, I was feeling a bit cocky. Yeah, I got this boxing thing down pat. Man, was I in for a rude awakening! I ended up booking an Advanced Bagwork class, which the staff recommends attendees doing 10 of the Undefeated, Strong & Champ classes before attempting. All the classes at Mayweather are HIIT (high intensity interval training). Short intensive sets, followed by a few seconds of rest. Having my hands wrapped up, boxing gloves on, I was ready to throwdown. The Advanced Bagwork class is exactly what I wanted. Mainly throwing punches on the various heavy bags & BOB's (body opponent bags), with some cardio from rowing machines, ropes & balance trainers. A few seconds of rest before moving on the next station. I kept switching from orthodox to southpaw, balancing out my stances. Loud hip-hop music blaring through the speakers helped the energy remain high, as we threw different combos & punched until exhaustion. The staff were great. They were friendly, accommodating & eager to wrap hands & provide support, when needed. Damian was the Advanced Bagwork instructor, and he was easy to follow & motivational. Mayweather Boxing + Fitness is located on the 2nd St. side at the Marketplace Long Beach, left of Stretch Lab & CPK, behind Trader Joe's. I was huffing & puffing for air, deltoids on fire, with my first two fingers on my left hand going numb from punching too hard/too much. And, it was all good! I felt great throwing all the jabs, crosses, hooks & uppers. The tension of the day melted away with each thump on the bags. If you're looking for an intensive workout, I highly recommend giving Mayweather Boxing + Fitness a try!

No problem with parking and next to it is the Trader Joe's. Across the street is Whole Foods. Healthy restaurants and cafes are just few steps away. I cannot complain. I have conveniences around me. Cleanliness,a major part to the gym quality,is not an issue here. Bathroom is super clean! They always go around and hand you sanitizing wipes. Full service! It also saves time for a member the station in-between breaks. They have free hydration powders, bananas and protein bars. They have 2 massage chairs. I know.... right? Such luxury makes a member stay,I am telling you! Lol. Lastly, cold towels are served after each work out class. Hmm... please continue doing this. (Note to the gym management: Use free and clear detergent. The detergent scent is overwhelming,:(. A good alternative would be a few drops of essential oil. Thank you in advance! I think I've said enough! See you there!
