Candace covered the intro class and was great! She taught us about the unique features of the their Pilates machines as each is unique. She clearly explained how to pose while using the features. She was patient and provided constructive feedback to help us improve and create a strong foundation. Last but not least, it was a great intro workout and she made it fun. Looking forward to the next class! If you forget socks, they have plenty on the wall for purchase. Arrive early, as parking can be limited and on street only.

I came here for a beginner class recently with one of my best friends and I loved it! The instructor was so friendly, helpful and demonstrated everything for us making sure we were doing the workouts properly. I definitely will be back! There's street parking which isn't too bad if you go to a morning class. I felt relaxed, energetic, and at ease with the help of the music - and I even earned free pilates socks for leaving a Google review before leaving. There's also some nice merch available to purchase as well.

The instructors are very nice and the studio itself is so welcoming and airy. My new go-to spot for Pilates!

The classes are focused on building strength and flexibilty and balance - all crucial in an aging body. When there is a position I am unable to perform, the instructor quickly gives me an alternate. As I am a beginner, I have asked for "hands-on" to correct my posture. Instructors are professional and respectful when providing "hands-on" support. Also, the variety and time of the classes allows me to determine my routine. The staff is welcoming and charming, and my fellow students are friendly and supportive of one another. I love the classes and the instructors. Am happy to be a regular at the Long Beach studio.

I'm a big fan of Club Studio and have been going for years now. Here's why I love it:…read more* The Gym is well lit, has all the equipment you'd need, and is never too crowded (or empty) to help us stay motivated to work out. * The Studios have great marked spots for each person, with instructors who bring the energy and fun to their classes. Plus, I appreciate that every class starts on time. I personally can't get enough of the Hot Yoga with Sandi! * The amenities are plentiful with towels, hairdryers, lockers and plenty of spaces throughout with everything we need. * The service is great. The Club Manager, Ricky, excels at taking care of the members. * And, there's plenty of free parking so you're never stressed looking for a place for your car or bike. This is a fantastic facility. Check it out!

I decided to join Club Studio for these following reasons: aesthetically pleasing to the eye,…read morebigger space, better equipment, and less wait time on equipment. (I would give them a 5 for this.) I also thought the cost would be a huge motivator to get my butt into the gym more often! The reason for a 2 score: I'm an experienced yogi, 10 plus years. My yoga practice was developed in small owned yoga studios where care for asanas were taken seriously and instructors adjusted your movement, hands on, to make sure you were doing everything safely and accurately. I can't seem to adapt to the dark dance club vibe of corporate yoga studios that are, unfortunately, popping up in every mini mall corner nowadays. Club Studio yoga classes are just that: lyrics so loud that you can't hear the instructor within a dark night club vibe. For the love of God, why would you blast a depressing song about heart break while you're trying to get your students to follow your instructions and focus on their mindful asanas? I can't hear the instructor clearly because it's literally like two people talking at once: the instructor and the singer belting out his/her song! Lol! There are hundreds of amazing, energizing tribal techno instrumental beats ( no lyrics) to choose from that would elevate the classes and enhance the yoga experience. I promise most people ( the younger generation) aren't complaining because they think loud, dark yoga is the norm. Also, the support blocks are soft like kitchen sponges, giving no secure stability. In addition, I'd rather not bring my own yoga mat, but I have to because the thin spongy yoga mats they offer are so oily and slippery. The reason I'm so upset is because I stopped putting money in yoga classes outside this gym so I could then focus on the yoga classes offered with my over $200.00 monthly membership. I'm really disappointed in what they offer in their yoga classes. Not the quality I would expect for this type of pricing. I am now going to spend additional money to go back to the yoga studios that don't use dance club lighting or blast loud lyrics that take over the instructor's guidance. I get it, some people thrive on this environment, but PLEASE offer more yoga classes with a variety of teachers and styles. I'm not asking for slower and easier ( I prefer advanced classes). I'm just asking for an options that don't have a night club feel.

I did the $25 2 weeks unlimited offer they had and immediately fell in love with the studio itself & Pilates! I have taken a reformer foundation, reformer + and even a reform Sculpt. And all are absolutely great! They do offer mat Pilates only once a week though. Hina is definitely my favorite instructor here! She usually teaches Wednesday & Thursdays. I have taken her for reformer + & sculpt and I love her workouts! She is very nice, a GREAT instructor, and gets straight to the point. I am always swearing and feeling amazing after a class with Hina! It does suck that she's only there twice a week and I wanted to be consistent with Pilates. Sarah and Ashlee are also great instructors! SUPER helpful and really helps you understand the movements just like Hina. I wish all 3 were there more often so I can purchase a membership! Studio is clean & aesthetically pleasing. Check them out!
