Here's why I love it: * The Gym is well lit, has all the equipment you'd need, and is never too crowded (or empty) to help us stay motivated to work out. * The Studios have great marked spots for each person, with instructors who bring the energy and fun to their classes. Plus, I appreciate that every class starts on time. I personally can't get enough of the Hot Yoga with Sandi! * The amenities are plentiful with towels, hairdryers, lockers and plenty of spaces throughout with everything we need. * The service is great. The Club Manager, Ricky, excels at taking care of the members. * And, there's plenty of free parking so you're never stressed looking for a place for your car or bike. This is a fantastic facility. I'm a very happy customer here now for almost a year. My only complaints about Club Studio are when they build gyms without a pool or jacuzzi (such as this one in Long Beach) and they don't have any designations for beginner or advanced levels in their classes. It would be really helpful if you weren't confronted as a yoga newbie with instructors trying to get you to do hand stands or the very challenging moves and weight lifts in the Pilates x Strength class. I think they need to give info to the members about difficulty ahead of time or section off some classes as beginner, etc. I belong to another Club Studio in a different city as well, so I'd have to say the staff at the front desk at this club can be a little unfriendly and inattentive compared to the other club. But I love most of the yoga teachers at this Club Studio, and I really think they made great choices in hiring Sandi, Kelly, Karen, and Jason. They all have great personalities and try to make the classes accessible for people with injuries or special problems . But if you're a senior with a lot of physical problems, this club is probably not for you. The emphasis is definitely on the youthful customer here, and I hope I can keep up with the classes for as long as I'm physically able before I have to go somewhere else less challenging. read more

Been going to CS for years. I was surprised by the incredibly obvious, yet brutal lack of AC this summer... Only kinda cools down near closing time ~9-10pm. It never was like this in prior summers. Trust me, I'm a sweater, so I really did my due diligence to find the "least sweltering" time period to do my workouts once I noticed this unfortunate pattern start a few months back as summer approached. I thought maybe it was a "me" problem and I was going crazy, but I've spoken with others who have noticed this too while I'm there. I'm not usually a review writer and wanted to give them a grace period to correct this since it really is a great gym but this is getting egregious. I shouldn't have to worry about my overheating health safety while at a "luxury" gym. The penny-pinching is preposterous for such a premium price point... I guess this is just another chapter in the great enshitification saga authored by the profit over people parasites. Other than that, love this gym. My go-to in the winter! read more

I was in the Long Beach/Seal Beach area for work for about a week and needed a gym that offered premium accommodations, cleanliness, and high-quality classes like Pilates. I decided to check out Club Studio Fitness, and I am so glad I did. Steven, who gave me my tour, provided absolute top-tier customer service. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the facility's benefits and took the time to explain everything in detail. What I truly appreciated was that he didn't rush me; he allowed me to get the full experience, including trying out their Cryotherapy, getting a workout in, and using the state-of-the-art recovery area (the infrared saunas and compression therapy are amazing). As someone who loves kettlebell and banded workouts, I was happy to see they were fully equipped. Since the gym focuses heavily on classes, the self-workout area was spacious and never crowded. Club Studio in Long Beach feels like the W Hotel of gyms-- luxury, vibe, and attention to detail everywhere you look. The classes are amazing: from high-energy rides and boxing to reformer Pilates, hot yoga, etc they're always challenging, fun, and top-notch instructors keep you motivated. The juice bar (Beaming Cafe) is incredible, fresh, organic superfood smoothies and drinks that actually make you feel good post-workout. Plus, having a full med spa (Kalologie) on-site for things like IV drips, Botox, and recovery treatments. The locker rooms are always immaculate, spotless towels, and the equipment/machines are kept super clean and well-maintained. Yes, it's a bit more expensive than your average gym, but you truly get what you pay for: quality facilities, variety, and that "treat yourself" experience. But most importantly, the staff and team members make it special. They truly represent the brand and go above and beyond. Shoutout to Joelle, she always greets me with the biggest smile when I walk in, makes me feel genuinely welcome, and just brightens the whole visit. I was on the fence about whether this membership would be worth it, but after trying a 7-day guest pass, I was completely sold. There are 30+ classes offered during the weekdays (slightly less on weekends), including Pilates, heated yoga, spin, HIIT (Club Studio calls it CS4), barre, and specialty options like rebound. The variety makes it easy to stay motivated and switch things up. I especially love that you can book classes a week in advance and select your specific spot number in class. After taking a few classes, you quickly get to know your favorite instructors and start seeing familiar faces, yay for community and belonging! The gym itself is well stocked, clean, and never overly crowded, which is a huge plus compared to other gyms. Towel service is included (a game changer). There are a couple of very minor things I'd improve (like the water pressure in the sinks and the sensitivity/speed of the soap dispensers) but they're far from deal breakers and not worth knocking off a star. ***Update*** After my review I received a thoughtful text message from a Club manager committing to improvements. Three days after the text there was a notable improvement of the cleanliness of the treadmills, stair climbers and stationary bikes! There was a team member spraying and wiping down equipment during my 1-hour workout today. Good Job! Additionally, the new staff at the front desk scanned my membership number and then welcomed me by name which is a great practice for welcoming members. Again, good job! read more

Alright, ima be real af. This gym is dope. Clean, great classes and great machines. LET ME HIGHLIGHT THAT THE PRICE INCLUDES THE CLASSES AND ALL THE INSTRUCTORS ARE AMAZING! Haven't had any problems or issues with the INSTRUCTORS. HOWEVER for the price, there's no feminine hygiene products available or hair-ties. You're probably thinking okay wtf who cares, grit cycle.. EVEN SOME 24/hour fitness had machines or these things available. Customer service is okay but what can you expect without any diversity. Shoutout to the juice bar though, THATS customer service. PERSONAL TRAINING, okay.. first session is going over your BMI and all that stuff.. THENNNN they refer you to AN ACTUAL TRAINER YOULL BE WITH.. The gym is definitely on the more expensive side. But what's nice is that there's 5 different studios, you have spin, Pilates, hiit, yoga, and box all in one place and it comes with the membership. It even has a dry sauna room which is so amazing. Basic membership lets you book 7 days in but the downside is all the popular classes get booked up so fast thay even 5 minutes after the booking window opens, I am already stuck on the waitlist. It has gotten more members in the past year I've been here and I've noticed that machines are breaking down more, the locker rooms aren't be up kept to the best condition anymore, for the price I'm paying I want everything to be perfect all the time! read more

This gym has good equipment and a clean facility, but the overall value doesn't match the high monthly price. For what they charge, I expected more flexibility and better customer service. Unfortunately, they have a strict no-grace policy if you're even a minute late, which feels unnecessarily rigid and not very member-friendly. I personally have seen people join the classes after a few minutes late, however I was not allowed to enter after I checked in a minute over the start time (11:01). I felt somewhat singled out. For a premium-priced gym, a little understanding would go a long way. I have been a member for almost a year and purchased the membership with the 25 pass add on. I was so excited to join Club Studio, but I have found the experience to be pretty disappointing. I took a break from my longtime yoga/pilates studio to try it out, but the classes are tame in comparison. Additionally, the customer experience you would expect from a "luxury gym" is lacking. A big reason I opted for the premium membership was to ensure I could get into specific classes and have the ability to share guest passes with my husband and friends. However, the classes are nearly impossible to get into unless you book 10 days in advance, and if your schedule changes, forget it. None of my friends have been able to get into classes with me using the passes I've shared. I called this morning, hoping the Sales woman could help get my friend into a class with me on my birthday, and the lack of care was laughable. I will be returning to my old studio and save myself $100 a month starting in May. read more

I'm obsessed with this gym. I work with Sweet Sweat and I am not a member at this gym but I did get to experience all the facilities over a two day takeover / collab with them. All the machines and equipment are brand new. The entire look is so aesthetically pleasing and elevated. I LOVE the sauna, there is a Pink Himalayan Salt Stone in there and it's beautiful. My favorite part of the gym by far is Studio Row, it where you can take elevated group classes like heated Yoga Sculpt, Boxing, or HIIT. Each room is so beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you may need. The recovery room is also definite a major winning point as well. They have so many different recovery options including cryotherapy, red light therapy, normatec compression boots, and different massage options. If you want to have an elevated gym experience I would totally choose this gym! read more

I love this gym because I can take a variety of studio classes throughout the week for LESS than it costs to have a membership at a boutique studio that only offers 1 kind of class. I get bored with only doing standard "gym" workouts so having the option of studio classes and a gym is nice! It's pretty clean and spacious as well. Staff are friendly. Some workout coaches/instructors are better than others but it's all dependent on personal preferences. 2 complaints: 1. they squeeze as many ppl into a class as possible, especially for the heated yoga/Pilates room which is uncomfortable because you literally have no space to move when you're packed like sardines. The other classes don't feel as bad when full. 2. they have 0 bathroom amenities which is criminal for a gym of this cost. Started your period? Shit out of luck. Need a hair tie? Fend for yourself. Could really use a spray deodorant? Sucks, you're gonna stink up the joint. 3. Not really a complaint but something I've noticed is that The receptionists could show a little more attentiveness and urgency at checking people in, especially when it's clear there's a rush of folks rushing in to check-in on time for a class. Aside from the class capacity, If they stepped it up by offering at least bathroom and shower necessities then id give 4.5 stars (if that was possible). read more

I am deeply disappointed with this company's customer service. Overall, it's a nice facility, clean, and somewhat empty compared to other gym floors. I would have signed up for a membership in a heartbeat. However, due to the unprofessional staff and management I would not consider this facility to anyone. The manager revoked my 3 day pass one day in, and is claiming the reasoning for this is because I had already used my 3 day pass in the past. They are mainly there to sell memberships, fill towels, and run the recovery lounge. Sometimes when they are helping new members they prioritize that over scanning you in. Maybe I lack patience after a long day The equipment is good, decent. Lots of free weights and racks in great shape. However for the price it does lack some basic stuff. Like there are two crappy jump ropes...come on, these are $15 on amazon for a better one. Some equipment is starting to fade. Also why is there not a weighted cable row? Showers have dirt/mildew on the grout which doesn't make me feel great. If you like classes, this place takes the cake. For us weightlifters, it's nice to have the option to switch it up and take spin or hot yoga. Overall I love it, has been a great gym to me and will continue to go! read more

I've been a member since Club Studio opened last year and have loved it ever since joining. This gym really made me fall in love with working out and helped me create a routine in the mornings. I love the different types of classes you can take. I do rebound (trampoline), reform (reformer Pilates), and hot yoga sculpt on a weekly basis so I never get bored and can get different types of workouts in -- from cardio to toning. Although I typically stick to classes, I also love the option to work out in a full gym with state of the art equipment. The majority of the instructors are great, super friendly and push/motivate you in class. The app is pretty easy to use, though popular classes do fill up quick. They do have a pretty strict cancelation policy - $10 if you cancel less than 12 hours in advance and $15 if you no show. read more

Both Samantha and Max (coaches) have great energy. They make sure your form is correct when doing the exercises, they explain each exercise you'll be doing at each station, and they are knowledgeable on modifications if you need then. I recently took Anisa for rebound and ride and love her energy too! The music and lighting create a fun atmosphere as well. read more

After an anxiety inducing wait it's finally open! I have been able to book into a class each morning so far, for the upcoming week - mainly yoga and reform. The two reform classes I've taken (Saturday and this morning) have been good. They're a little less athletic than other studios I've been to, but I am still so very sore from each workout. Each instructor has their own style so I'll see how it turns out as I take more classes. One thing I need to see if I'm going to continue being a member though, is more classes throughout the day! Not everyone works a traditional work schedule. Many of their classes go from the buttcrack of dawn to about 10:30am, then start up again at 5pm. Liiike, those hours in between are prime work out hours for me and with fewer people in the gym, will be the easiest to book into. Also dance classes. Please give us dance classes! I don't want to go to La fitness for Zumba, I want a little salsa and cumbia action at my home gym, thank you. Outside of that, it's a beautiful space. There's a mini cardio area with mid-quality equipment, and a huuuuuge free weights section. Might have to take up body building tbh. The women's locker room layout is cute, and we have a nice lil sauna. Will keep updating this review and time goes on! read more

I've been a member at Club Studio for over a year and a half now. I absolutely love the facility and the variety of classes it offers, but in the last 3+ months the air conditioning in the classrooms has been down for 2-3 days out of the 5 days that I workout there. I primarily take classes and have a hard time taking a HIIT or cycling classes when there is no AC, especially on days where it's 85+ degrees outside. As a member who pays $200/month for a premier gym, I expect premier quality. I understand maintenance issues arise, but I've been very disappointed that this issue seems to be persistent and expect better. read more

Although the facility is nice, the parking is awful and when I was 5 minutes late for a class recently due to not finding a parking spot, they told me that going into the class late was a "safety" issue. They do not run evening classes on Fridays and they don't offer classes on weekend afternoons. For the money they charge, they should offer classes in these time slots. read more

As far as health clubs go this place is swaggy compared to most. I attended a Yelp event here and took a spin class, it was awesome, I left the spin room soaked completly in sweat. The facility is brand new, so even the huge sauna smelled nice and was spotless, unlike my LA fitness on Bellflower sauna which is kinda rank. The club is new and has many amenities and is more expensive than most typical health clubs but its truly a treat to work out there. I highly recommend this place. read more

I received a marketing email from this place saying I had seven days to book a class and use a guest pass. Sounds simple enough, right? Wrong. Apparently, according to Joelle, the day the email is sent counts as Day 1. So by the time I booked on what I thought was Day 7, I was already too late. Math is hard, but this policy is harder to justify. Not sure who thought this was a good idea, but it's definitely not customer-friendly. If you enjoy decoding vague promotions and being told "no" after following instructions, this might be your kind of chaos. Personally, I'll stick with Gritcycle and Barry's where the instructors are great and the booking process doesn't feel like a logic puzzle. Hard pass on this establishment when there are other pilates and yoga places so close. read more
