Fun challenges :)

Great workout, great people, a wonderful community. Try it out, you won't regret it! If you are looking for a new workout home, look no further!

I can't rave enough about this studio, and everyone of the clients and staff have literally saved my life even if they don't know it. I have a few diagnosed mental health issues and the workouts help me mentally and so does everyone there this is truly my happy place. A few years ago I was involved with a fire and was burnt to the bone, the clients and staff showed up with food, helped take care of my dogs and take me to appointments! I don't know any other fitness facility where that type of support would happen. They restore my faith in humanity daily!

I'm biased with The Bar Method workout, but I enjoy taking classes out of town when I get a chance. The workout is always challenging to me and I learned new moves that I haven't done at my home location. The facility has showers and lockers. The restroom is down a long hall. The location is in a business park and connects to the shopping center. This might confuse a first timer, but there's plenty of parking.

Unethical Billing Practices & Disrespectful Treatment…read more Made the mistake of supporting this new business by purchasing a Founder's membership in June . Thought I was helping my fellow dance community grow. It turned into a very disappointing and stressful experience. "While some of the staff and instructors have been wonderful and hardworking, my experience with the ownership has been very different. The billing practices are not transparent, and when I asked for help canceling my membership, I was met with disrespect and threats of continued charges. This review is based solely on my customer experience with the owner's handling of policies -- not the team members who've been supporting and kind . The contract isn't visible not on the website , app or the sent e sigh email -- corporations refund, return policy isn't available . As it's a hidden contracts, membership cannot be frozen or canceled under any circumstances, even if you're severely injured or have to move away. That's the case for me . As was explained to the owner, Amanda . She will justify the continued charges every month in the guise of membership. Without reason besides she has your CC# I asked questions for cancellation . Amanda then mocked me - and I quote " Dude, that's not how it works, Honey. Have you ever had a gym membership before?" That level of disregard . Instead of professionalism or compassion, continued threatened to charge me every month , a FULL year ($1,125.00 ) for services I can't redeem or use or access, saying " "I will be charging in full then taking you to small claims court" All for 125$ monthly membership that cancelled in September. Please be cautious before signing up -- ask to see their billing in writing , ask questions read every detail and think twice before trusting their "membership" offers. It's disappointing to see a women-owned business turn its back on loyal members who supported their company from day one. We stood by through every early struggle -- tech issues, scheduling mix-ups, instructor cancellations, broken AC , and all the challenges with a point of sale going paperless and a new team . While the community and instructors showed patience and loyalty, the ownership left on lengthy holidays leaving the wellbeing of business in a new team . It's unfortunate to watch a place that once showed promise lose touch with the very people who helped build a community .

My daughter took me to The Barre tonight for their Stretch & Relax Class. It's 90% stretching and 10% relaxing. Amanda was welcoming and did a great job leading our class with clear instructions and guidance. The other participants varied in skill levels (but all were way more bendy than me) and they seemed to enjoy / appreciate the class. After class, Amanda showed me some additional stretches to include in my daily routine. I'm hoping my daughter invites me to make this our weekly Wednesday evening meet up.

From the moment you…read morewalk in, the space feels airy and welcoming with an open layout and plants everywhere, which gives it such a calming but still trendy vibe. It doesn't feel cramped just really well thought out and aesthetically pleasing. Instructor Simmone was amazing. She was clear, motivating, and made the class feel both challenging and enjoyable. You can tell she really knows what she's doing and is intentional about the flow of the workout. I booked the class through ClassPass and had a great experience overall. The only downside is parking , street parking is the only option and it can be a bit annoying, so definitely plan to arrive early to give yourself time. Also it was 83 out and the space was open to the outside so it was fine . I'm not sure if it has central AC or not , but I probably wouldn't come back on a hot day .

The workouts themselves are challenging, effective, and something I genuinely enjoyed. After that, I signed up and eventually started attending classes on my own. As someone who was still new to barre, it took a lot of courage to go alone. Unfortunately, during two separate classes with two different instructors, I struggled to keep up. The instructors did help and reposition me, which I appreciated, but I continued to struggle, and in one of the classes, the instructor laughed, which made me feel self-conscious and discouraged as a beginner. While I understand classes can be lighthearted, in that moment it felt uncomfortable rather than supportive. After experiencing something similar again with a different instructor, it became discouraging and made me feel like this might continue happening. What ultimately led me to explore other options wasn't the workout itself, but the feeling of being judged during class. Fitness environments should feel encouraging, especially for people who are new or still building confidence. I did have a positive experience with one instructor who was very helpful, but she primarily taught Define or Empower classes, which felt too advanced for me compared to Classic, since I was still new to barre. Because of these experiences, I decided to try another studio where I felt more comfortable and eventually canceled my membership here.

Main motivators in choosing PB were location, their robust schedule (especially the after work classes), and the style of classes offered. I love that there are 4 different and dynamic formats to choose from. As someone who can get bored with workouts, I've really enjoyed how unique each one is. But what really convinced me that PB was the right place for me is their incredible staff. This isn't your typical gym - this is a community that looks to uplift each and every attendee. From the front desk to the instructors, you can just tell they genuinely care about you and your journey through PB! Grateful for PB and I hope anyone reading this signs up for a free intro class to see what it's all about. So far, it feels life-changing!
