Based on taste, we'd probably order again but not for the pricing for what you get - too many local places offer larger quantity with a side included for the same price range. The fries are also amazing. The green beans were okay but I plan on trying out the sides before coming back to them. The rice was good but could use more flavor. I've been here two other times after my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised! It might have been what I ordered, but it was much more delicious than my first visit. I ordered the 1/4 chicken meal (it comes with two sides). The "white meat" comes with a breast and a wing and the "dark meat" option comes with a thigh and a drumstick. You definitely get more meat with the "white meat" option, but I like dark meat and it was a little juicier. For the sides, I would definitely try the "house rice" because it's really savory and has little vegetables like green beans and carrots and it is DELISH. I could eat a whole bowl of that. I also tried the caesar salad and I like how they don't skimp on using fresh ingredients. The cheese was slices of grated parmesan (rather than that powdery weird parmesan some restaurants use) and the croutons were also crunchy and flavorful. The caesar dressing is sorta in between creamy and vinaigrette and is pretty tart. I'm a student so I got a student discount, which is 10% off- not a lot, but every saving helps! They have a variety of different foods from Peruvian chicken, burgers gyros, salads with a variety of drinks to complement. I tried their sunrise burger and made it a combo with two sides which was all fries. The burger was definitely plentiful. I couldn't finish it because the meat was so tender, soft and fulfilling. The fries - not my favorite place for fries but honestly with such great entree items - the sides mean nothing to me. I don't know if they're new or not but the place looks very clean and there's plenty of space for dine in. Another great thing about them? They offer wifi. Yesterday was our first order from Grille Twelve 24. Prior to this, I had called several times with many questions. Each time my questions were answered thoughtfully and honestly so when I cam time to order I knew what I was doing. What a great experience! the food was awesome! We ordered a gyros sandwich, meatball sub and a Peruvian Chicken and Rib platter. Everything was great and cooked to perfection. All of the special requests that I had made were included. The chicken was as tender as could be and the homemade sauces were amazing. The ribs were unbelievably meaty and extra well done as I had requested. The meat fell off of the bone and very, very tasty. My husband liked the meatball sub very much. I am a gyros fanatic and it was a true gyros, cut off of the spit. This too was delicious. The fresh cut french fries were the best that we had had in a very long time and a small order is quite large. Before tip, the meal came to $38.00 and so far we have had two meals from our order. There is at least one more meal from our order. So, the staff was lovely and the food delicious; we are very happy and intend to order food from Grille Twelve 24 frequently. read more

I ordered the 1/4 Peruvian chicken with rice and beans with a side of fries. I was excited to eat from here as the first time was great. I usually don't complain about my food as I have worked in food service before but this time it was absolutely horrible. I peeled the skin back to eat the meat and picked a couple small pieces off and ate it then as I got further down I noticed that the chicken was a little pink I didn't think anything about it at first but then blood yes blood (I know what blood looks like remember I worked food service and medical services) came seeping out. I immediately stopped eating because this as this situation can cause food Borne illnesses and make you very sick. I took a picture and I immediately called the restaurant and spoke to a woman who was not empathetic at all and didn't seem to care. She took my number down and said she would have a manager call me back in 5-10 mins but he didn't call back for almost 40 mins. When he did call back he acted confrontsational and acted like I was lying. I told him I took a picture of it and he was like ok we'll send it to me and I will call you back and he still hasn't called, offered to fix it or refund my money. The girl working at the front said "ummm...ummmmm" for about five minutes straight. The owner working right next to her stood there and snickered. I said, "well I just need to know an answer. Being a decent cook myself, it is quite difficult to get the breast of a whole chicken as seasoned as the rest of it but this place has mastered the technique. (It has to be brined). Great inexpensive, casual spot that's right near all of the local colleges for great convenience. They have a pretty large menu with sandwiches, paninis, Greek food (gyro, spanakopita), but their specialty is their juicy, flavorful Peruvian chicken! They really rub it down with a thick layer of herbs and spices, which I love. You have the option of white or dark meat, and they serve it with two sauces: a green herby sauce with lots of garlic, and a delicious yellow sauce! Both are awesome, but that yellow one is like heaven! Chicken dinners come with two sides, and I've always been impressed with the fresh, quality ingredients. I decided to venture here for lunch, regardless of the fact I couldn't find a menu on line to save my life. I have 1/4 Peruvian Chicken (not that I couldn't have eaten a half. But then I would've need a nap, and my job frowns upon napping v. working) with fries and a side salad. The fries were delicious, fresh cut and salad was your standard salad. The chicken was moist and delicious, but missing all the "gunk" under the skin that most Peruvian Chicken comes with (and by gunk, I mean sweet, delicious seasonings). Chicken, fries, house rice, green beans. (I love that they keep their green beans crisp.) It's always felt clean and organized. There's one cashier who expects you to know their menu as well as she does. If you ask the wrong question you might get a look from her and feel like you're asking the world's dumbest question. I've had really good Peruvian chicken in the past, but Grille Twelve 24 has the BEST Peruvian chicken I've ever had! The flavor is extra amped-up! While the chicken and sides I ordered were super delicious, I was most impressed by the service. I came there to get food for an office party, and instead of just having the chicken cut into quarters, I wanted it cut into pieces. This is something they don't normally do, but they obliged my request, and packed my food beautifully with lime slice garnishes. Best part, the chicken was the favorite at the office holiday potluck! Ribs platter has recently been as disappointing as a plastic appliance that breaks the first time using it. The ribs taste ashy like a chimney-sweep accidentally stepped on them with a grimy shoe then kicked them around a bit. There's flabby ligaments on them too that make my lips leave greasy moons on the drinking cup. Too much soot on top; it's lunch, not an offering to the Char Broil King in heaven. This restaurant is amazingly good, and very inexpensive. The chicken is moist, & the skin is crisp. I think it's the best in Baltimore. The sauces are really yummy too. Thier hero meat is scrumptious, & you can get it over a tasty, fresh salad. Thier rice pudding is very nice; creamy, & sweet, but not too sweet. The sides are great, especially the fried plantains. The atmosphere at this place is qute casual, but very comfortable, and the servers are very friendly and accomidating. I eat here on a regular basis, and recommend that you do too. read more

Definitely like that they offer a wide variety of options because almost everything in this area is sandwich shops, so it's nice to have a good chicken/burger shop. The food is very filling and the burgers are very good. It does take a long time to cook them, though. Not a big fan of the seating situation, people will set up shop at booths and just won't leave, long after they've finished their meal. I discount the experience I had when receiving my food as an anomaly. I was watching them prepare my food, and the cook put the fries on my plate. As he did so, he took one and tossed it in his mouth. Well, he apparently forgot to close his mouth because the fry went into his mouth, then fell out and back on to my plate. He then proceeded to serve me the meal. I yelled at him for it, and the manager kindly made me a new plate ASAP. I chock that up to a poor employee. The manager did his job and remedied the situation. However, for the rest of the meal, I couldn't help bu think about that happening. It made my experience quite a let down. As for the food, it is meh. The Peruvian Chicken I go was dry and tasted like thyme only. The salsa verde tasted like mayonnaise with some ground up jalapeno. And, the french fries were mushy and just OK. The saving grace of the meal were the green beans. They were cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and really good. My biggest complaint other than people dropping food out of their mouths and back on my plate was the wait. It took 25 minutes to get a 1/4 chicken, fries, and green beans. Rather than serve me the hot chicken out of the rotisserie, they took a quarter chicken out of a warming drawer, threw it on the grill to warm it up, and then served it to me. It was sad to know that there was fresh chicken roasting in a rotisserie just feet away, but I essentially got something out of the refrigerator. Most of the Peruvian Chicken restaurants I've been to serve the chicken right out of the oven. It is moist, flavorful throughout (because it is brined), and sizzling as it is served.
