All of our food was very good. We had four entrees of maple bourbon glazed burnt ends and they were very good. Our appetizers were very good also.

I tried this place as a recommendation from my boss at DKH. The restaurant itself is very pretty & its eye catching as you drive by it. The best thing about this place is the prices- they are EXTREMELY REASONABLE. Most places charge $35-$60 for a filet mignon steak- but this place you can get one for around $28-$30 so of course I ordered one and it was pretty good! The perfect amount of seasoning. So if you're a fan or filet or steak in general- definitely give this place a try. They have a pretty expansive menu! So depending on what you're in the mood for- they have a great variety! I also ordered a seasonal sangria with my meal- which was extremely strong- and had more of a strong Liquor taste than a relaxed wine taste- so depending on your preferences- you may want to order something else as it didn't remind me of sangria all that much. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The ambiance was pretty nice. The building itself is large and accommodating (I think they also have banquets/events on the other side). The location was easy to find & was nice/convenient! If you're contemplating trying this place, don't hesitate and just give it a try!

I've never had a bad meal here. Best service, and the food and wine selections are consistently amazing. My favorite place in a wide radius.

Service lacked. Food was not incredibly tasty and in the case of my wife's burger, cold. Won't be back.

They were done in a dirty style which is really good. Had a good crunch but still be tender on the inside and not soggy at all. The drinks selection and prices were awesome and to top it off some live music which plays each night. I love the decor inside and the names of the items on the menu was unique to musical artists which was cool. I will personally make the trip back to this place again. With good reviews and a cool menu we dropped in and couldn't have been happier! We were pretty lucky as it was not that busy and we were able to get a table right away. The decor is eclectic and interesting. The staff came with a great smile and even better attitude; absolutely top notch! We started w the pretzels and beer cheese. Holy 6 pound baby Jesus they were good. They came out piping hot and the cheese was in a bubbling side dish. This isn't your typical dab of cheese in a plastic condiment container that is commonplace nowadays. I had the Arturo Sandoval (spin on a Cuban) as my entree and it was also fabulous and came out hot. If I was being critical, the pork was a wee bit dry, but that happens sometimes and it really didn't take away from the sando. Even the small side of pasta salad was outstanding. I'm lucky if I eat sides like that 1/100 times and this one I couldn't wait to finish. Great vibe, great staff, great food, and live music almost every day. Definitely gonna go back and if it's just as good will update to 5 stars.

Elizabeth's Farmhouse -- Putnam, Connecticut…read more By far one of the best meals I've ever had, and quite possibly the best burger of my life! Coming from Southern California with a culinary background, I'll admit my expectations can sometimes be modest when dining outside well-known food scenes. Elizabeth's Farmhouse didn't just exceed them--it blew them away. My wife and I arrived in Putnam looking for a quick bite and found this charming, approximately 50-seat restaurant with no wait. I ordered an Oktoberfest from a local brewery, while my wife chose an Old Fashioned. She ordered the Farmhouse Meatloaf Wrap, I chose the burger, and we shared the German Onion Soup. The German Onion Soup was outstanding. The onions were caramelized to a beautiful deep amber, with rich umami, subtle garlic and shallot, and a wonderfully developed beef broth. The crostini, topped with perfectly melted Gruyère, brought everything together. Every component was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. Then came the burger--and this was no ordinary burger. Cooked to a flawless medium-rare, it featured thick-cut applewood-smoked bacon, crispy red onions, aged sharp white cheddar, ancho chili barbecue sauce, and a perfectly seasoned Niman Ranch all-beef patty on a soft brioche bun. Every bite delivered an incredible balance of smoky, savory, sweet, and spicy flavors. Nothing overpowered anything else. Without question, this was one of the best burgers I've ever had. My wife's Farmhouse Meatloaf Wrap was equally impressive, featuring tender meatloaf, creamy mashed potatoes, aged white cheddar, and house-made chipotle mayonnaise. Rich, hearty comfort food elevated through thoughtful preparation and excellent execution. Even the fresh-cut fries deserve recognition. Cooked beautifully and served with house-made ketchup that reminded me of an Italian nonna's homemade marinara. When even the simplest condiment receives that much attention, you know you're dining somewhere special. By the end of our meal, both plates were completely clean. As someone with a culinary background, I appreciate the difference between food that is simply prepared and food crafted with genuine passion. Elizabeth's Farmhouse is a shining example of the latter. To the chef and everyone behind the scenes: your passion for food does not go unnoticed. You've created something truly special in Putnam, Connecticut. I rarely write restaurant reviews, but this experience absolutely deserved one. Five stars, without hesitation. I'll be back hungry for more!

The service is sometimes great; sometimes...so-so. I've gotten different kinds and difficult to make out what the standard is for service. Overall-- good-ish. I made a reservation and was on time but my table was given to another customer who did not rsvp and was asked to wait for 20+mins. Happened twice. The interior is cozy and tight; but very cute and nice. Like its name; it's like a farmhouse decor. The outside architecture is all black and it may look closed but it is the restaurant :) ! A good restaurant to try out !!!

Calamari flight - we were shocked to find out we actually love pesto on calamari - we never would have thought that. The calamari was so tender. The sweet chili sauce was perfectly sweet and not spicy. The banana peppers also were yummy and not spicy. Great portion size. 2. Egg roll flight - The steak and cheese was our favorite! 3. Pasta flight - my son devoured the penne vodka 4. Land flight - the lamb, steak tips and NY strip were all perfectly cooked to medium as ordered. All were very tender, juicy and delicious! The staff was kind and appreciative. We were very happy to find out we could order the flights as take out. I would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Experience: My wife and I were looking for something new. After seeing Blackstone Putnam on TikTok (I know I know) we decided to give it a shot. We took the almost 2 hour drive from the other side of CT to see what it was about. Parking was awkward and limited but we made it and approached the door. We were greeted by a young female hostess who inquired if we had a reservation. After being informed that we did not, she apologized and stated that they were having issues with their dishwasher and would be unable to accommodate anyone without reservations. After learning the distance we had driven, she felt bad and checked with her supervisor who agreed to seat us. We were grateful. The interior is somewhat small with limited seating and a bar. There is outdoor seating but as the weather is getting colder I imagine this will be less and less of an option. My wife ordered the eggroll flight (2 Thanksgiving and 1 steak) and the pasta flight while I had the shrimp flight and deviled egg flight. We also ordered a Sangria flight and a martini. The food and drinks were brought out relatively quickly. Everything was hot and quite delicious. Our waiter was attentive and friendly and we even had a chuckle at the young lady seated next to us flirting with him quite obviously. But he was a great sport about it and kept it professional but friendly. There were so many other food options that I wanted to try and I will say that it appears to be easy to go from a simple meal to very expensive options pretty quickly. Overall we will definitely return and I have already recommended it to several co-workers.

Very first thing I noticed was that the sign was absolutely ridiculously faded. We actually drove right by it the first time trying to find the place. If the owners trying to hide his establishment from customers, he's doing an excellent job with that sign. We sat down, the waitress didn't seem very enthused to help us on a Labor Day. I think that my pizza crust had more personality than our waitress did. She kind of warmed up towards the end, when it was time to get the bill, and we needed to decide what to tip. When it comes to the actual pizza... I think it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS PIZZA. Some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. This being said, after i ate, I walked into the bathroom to wash my hands, it was an absolute nightmare. This bathroom had clearly not been cleaned in a while. Gross toilet seat, with fecal matter and toilet paper stuck to it. The sight of this makes me a little worried, because this will probably be the similar condition of the kitchen. This place would probably get five stars from more people if they did a couple things: 1. Employ staff that seems enthusiastic about their job and makes the customers feel welcome. 2. Clean your damn bathrooms. 3. Invest in a sign out front that people can actually see from the street. 4. (This one probably doesn't matter) but I think the whole quarterback theme for a pizza place is really stupid. And the name is pretty stupid as well. This being said, I probably will return and bring some other people. And we will give it a second chance. Don't let me down Quarterback Sneak Club or whatever the hell you're called.
