A full description of all issues is beyond reasonable length…read morefor a review, overall I found this shop and ownership to be untrustworthy, unknowledgeable, and incredibly dishonest on more than one occasion. got a $900 quote for a driveshaft replacement that turned into a $1400 job after several days of delay and no updates. the job only needing less than a handful of hours was originally estimated to be completed same day, and while delays can happen not only was I not updated of any delay, every time I called for updates after their time estimates had passed I was told the vehicle was actively being worked on which I now find likely to be untrue. within days/weeks of having the repair made my vehicle went to a mechanic for an unrelated issue and was determined immediately with a visual inspection my vehicle needed extensive frame repair. The repairs were so dire the vehicle was immediately deemed unsafe and this second mechanic refused to even examine the vehicle further stating it was beyond atleast reasonable repair. These damages were not only never mentioned to me by pats auto prior to service but i received and entire stack of paperwork outlining damages, repairs and other suggested maintenance work that should be done on my vehicle, including rust protection to the frame!! When confronted with this issue the owner informed me they do frame repairs in house and before issuing my requested refund wanted to take a look at the vehicle in attempt to make said repairs to get the vehicle back on the road for atleast a somewhat reasonable amount of time. After hearing the owners plans and estimated longevity for the frame repairs I consented provided they would be suitable to pass a nys inspection and at this point the owner declined to do any work stating the vehicle was beyond reasonable repair. It's worth mentioning this vehicle was most certainly in very poor condition atleast cosmetically going into the shop, regardless it falls under good faith at the very least to inform a customer of such severe damage it is a major safety concern. Not only was i not informed of these major issues but the initial vehicle inspection report has been altered sometime between my vehicle leaving their shop after refusing to do the work they offered and the writing of this review and photos will be attached. Additionally a refund was offered in exchange for the newly installed part however there was never any discussion or even any indication that in doing so my vehicle would be returned back to its running/driving yet damaged condition it was delivered in and that parts would simply be removed.

My exhaust was the first thing I've had done and I'm scheduled to get my struts and breaks fixed a little later! I just want to start off with how much they are working with me to get these things done. I'm not rich at all and if I had a stable job I would have loved to take them up on there offer with the credit options. But luckily, they know how to prioritize what needs fixing and scheduled me out for when I'll have the money to have those things fixed. Secondly, I want to point out how fast they got the job done! Julie had told me to bring it in so that they could diagnose the problem for me and that they could schedule me next week if I decided to get it fixed with them. Well, sure enough I bought it in on Friday morning, that same morning they were able to tell me what was wrong and the same day they ordered the parts and got it fixed! I literally got my car back at 3pm and genuinely did not expect that! I saw a sign in their shop and it said that they value their time, well I guess they also value everyone else's time too! I don't want to get into the free things that they did for me because I don't want anyone trying to come rip these lovely people off, but I do want to say the things that they did for me, that they had every right to charge me for, has let me know that I'm dealing with some really good people and has made this place my go-to spot! I would know about long term on a vehicle from them because they did a Job for me in 2015 on my 97 Camaro. This place is decent place to bring your vehicle if you need something fix short term but long term not worth it to ME. To others they are worth it but they don't restore cars really just fix them. I brought these guys my 97 Camaro back in 2015. Let me tell you what it WASN'T worth the price they charged me 6500-7k and or it felt like I was getting harassed by the owner about paying them. Normally you pay for a job when it's finished but he was eager to collect some before starting it and during before he finished the Camaro. I had to pay before they finished which felt like I was being scammed but I was in a tight pinch and had to get it done. After finally paying them in full they finished it up and said we will detail it up nice for you but the rushed they detail guy and I had wax all over the Camaro. Even the detail guy complained about being rushed. I even mentioned the green paint I could still see but they didn't fix it or nothing. I was super bummed about this but I was still happy to get my 97 Camaro back on the road and drive it. Mind you this 97 Camaro sat after it got "restored"from Vogels. Nothing wrong with it but all the imperfections they left, all the chipped and cracked paint I found and the green paint from the donor parts they used to fix it that you could still see in areas. The Camaro wasn't very professional done at all and the service I got from them especially from the owner himself was good and all till the demanded payment. Then it felt like a scam and it felt like I was being harassed. Now 10 years later I have to repay someone to fix all those paint chips, all the cracked panels and a lot more. So in my opinion it's not worth it because 10 years later and 6500 bucks wasted to repay another person.
