I initially thought I had some huge brake problem that turned into me needing an alignment and being warned I'll need a tire or two in the coming months. Ricky was even willing to come in on his Saturday off to finish the job had it been brakes and had he got the parts by the end of the day friday. I dropped the truck on the way to work and got a confirmation voicemail that it was done by lunch and I sincerely appreciate the shop taking me in on what could've possibly been short notice. Brought my dads car in Wednesday for an oil change, inspection and brakes "Tony" called around 11am and said the "car didn't need brakes" He asked his technician who said "maybe calipers" insisting the car didn't need brakes At about 3:30pm - after going back and forth several times- Tony said he "checked with his master technician who asked if they were all high" bc the car needed both front and back brakes. Tony said they must be "retarded" 1st didn't you test the brakes by driving (they went to the floor) 2nd ppl still use the word "retarded"?! 3rd total was 1534$ and change I'd never frequent this place as long as i live & suggest others don't as well One star rating bc you can't go lower read more

Ok so I woke to my car not starting this morning. It previously had work done at a dealership for electrical issues. So I decided best bet is to cal said auto dealer to have them fix my car since last week Dunn tire inspected the battery and it was good. So calling aaa they dispatched Griffs auto. Very friendly tow truck driver asked the issue.. Griffs Auto is the very best because they are the most honest, and this is throughout many years. Before I went there many years ago, there were 4 other places that told me that this or that was wrong, and even tried to show me on their car lift. Well, I tried Griffs and they said there was nothing wrong, and that everything was fine. I can't tell you the joy and relief I felt hearing that. The other day I had to bring my car in a Subaru place for a recall, and that dishonest establishment wrote up an estimate saying I needed brake pads, brake, and rotors. This is not where I went to buy the car 4 years previous but to a new Subaru dealer that was closer. Saving those miles did not pay, because 2 days later I went to my dear Griffs and they drove the car saying I did not need brakes because they were fine. Borrowed my brother's car to runs errands because he parked me in & he was asleep. I go to start it to head home & it won't crank over. So I call my brother & he comes with jumper cables. Still it won't start. So I called AAA & they sent the nicest young man from Griff's. He tried to start it but it wouldn't so quick as you like he rolled it back got it up on the truck & safely tied down. My car was towed after a terrible accident and I received the most disrespectful disheartening service. They refused me access to my car which is agains the state law in New York State to which both Chris and Chad said " I don't really give a crap about what the state of New York says" they towed my car to another location and from there I noticed things missing from my car I called to talk and see if I should be picking up those items from them or if I should continue with a lawsuit. They said that if anything was missing it would have been taken at the accident scene and said I was a problem and hung up on me 5 times. Do not bring your business to dishonest people. Also make sure if you're in an accident or need your car towed you take pictures of every item in your car. Another good way to resolve this is to reach out to small claims lawyer and fill out an application to move forward with suing. Don't let this happen to you! read more

Yesterday, my truck decided not to start in business parking lot. I called AAA and before long Brandon from Griff's Auto Service showed up to help me out. He found out quickly that I needed a new battery. Brandon explained everything as he was checking the battery. I was amazed at how many parts in the engine compartment had to be moved in order to remove the battery. Brandon was very informative and professional. If you'd like to be charged a lot of money to just get your car out of their impound, and towed to a auto mechanic this is your kinda place. Sky high rates, for mediocre service. after paying over 300$ for the impound fee after it being there a day and towing, I asked if I'd get a call when it was towed and they said yes, and even took my number down. I was waiting for a good 2 and a half hours before calling them and was told that it was delivered finally when they couldn't just called me in the first place, 30 minutes before the auto mechanic was closed; now it won't get even looked at till Monday, thank again Griff's for being the name of my car owning life yet again. read more

I use Verizon Roadside they used Griff's Auto Service to help me with a flat tire. The guy who came out was VERY nice as he's looking at my tire he said it could have something in it if so I can just go ahead and fix it. I was thankful and he did. Then after he finishes he goes I do have to charge you $15 I'm like hun? He's like yeah it's a charge. I explain I don't have any money (I pay for roadside with my Verizon bill) due to this virus I can't Uber drive and I don't get paid until Friday. I asked could I pay on Friday he goes sure. So I get in my house I call I don't know who answered the phone but all I said was your guy came out but didn't explain that it was a $15 charge before I could finish the JERK caught an attitude and said it's nothing its, not a big deal "you got your free tire plug" and the JERK hung up. I was calling to pay the $15 but since I was RUDELY hung up on by the JERK on the phone today I will not pay a dime and suggest NO ONE use this company! I will NEVER use them again!
