REVIEW: It would be helpful if Yelp were consistent on its business pages, and it might be helpful for other Yelpers. This isn't the page to review for Amtrak.com. It's literally for the Eugene, Oregon station. Was on a road (train) trip on the Coast Starlight, and Eugene is one of the very quick stops heading north to Seattle. I ran off the train to see if there was a gift shop or a place to get a soda, etc. There wasn't, but that's OK. Inside, the station was clean and quiet. I didn't see a staff member, but as we only had 3-5 minutes, I didn't have time to even look. But I was happy to see such a neat, historical depot, if only for a couple of minutes. When he was five minutes late with no word, I called him, to be told it would be another 15-20 minutes (too late). Had to drive, pay for parking and walk to the terminal post-knee-surgery (which is why I booked a taxi in the first place). Company did send reminder alerts the day prior so we felt good knowing we were at least on their radar. Totally a great experience and would use them again!!!

Creswell Airport is exactly that kind of place. I've been here before birthday jump with my brother, the kind of day that sticks to your bones. We threw ourselves out of a perfectly good airplane and called it celebration. Afterwards, one of the guys no fanfare, no obligation just took us out for burgers like we were old friends. That's the tone here. Not corporate. Not polished. Just good people who like what they do and don't mind sharing it. Fast forward to this weekend. I'm down in Eugene with a buddy, and you start thinking about things differently as you get older. You look at the people around you and realize not every moment gets a sequel. Some of these laughs, these dumb decisions, these stories... they're one-time deals. So before we got swallowed up by nightlife and bad decisions, I said, "Let's go fly." Weather had been doing its usual Oregon thing rain teasing the day but it finally broke. Clouds hung low like they were undecided, the sun pushing through just enough to make everything feel possible. Perfect flying weather, if you ask me. We head out to Creswell Airport, and next thing you know, I've got us in a plane. Now, I like to think I carry myself like a professional calm voice, confident nod, the whole act. My buddy buys it. Poor guy. Takeoff? Smooth. Clean. Textbook. Then we get a little altitude and the truth comes out. Barrel rolls. Sudden drops. That slow pullback on the throttle just to let gravity remind you who's in charge. I hit him with, "Don't worry, just practicing an engine restart," like I've got everything under control. The look on his face? Worth every second. Absolute panic mixed with betrayal. Beautiful. Now, to be clear I may not be winning any awards for landing finesse. But getting up there? That's the magic. Up above the noise, the nonsense, the scorekeeping of life... it's quiet in a way that makes you feel loud again. And maybe that's what Creswell Airport really is. Not just a place to skydive or rent a plane but a launchpad for those moments you don't get back. The kind where you laugh too hard, scare your friends a little too much, and forget just briefly that life's supposed to be taken seriously. So yeah, if you're anywhere near Eugene and feeling a little restless... a little reckless... maybe even a little nostalgic go. Take the flight. Scare your buddy. Eat the burger. Five stars, no question.

Made a last second diversion from Eugene to Creswell. They had clean bathrooms and a soda machine,…read morethat was a bonus. Easy to gas pump to fuel up. And come to find out they have a courtesy volvo station wagon that you can borrow or that they will drop you off somewhere (have to make reservations ahead of time I guess). No daily tie down fee. Nightly fee is 2 dollars for tie down.

Home time is something they work diligently to get accomplished. They will train you if you are willing to haul very long loads(100'+). The most valuable thing Leavitt's provides is that they actually care about their drivers. This is the best company out there. Don't hesitate to join the family at Leavitt's. I have been driving with Leavitt's for over 400,000 miles and don't plan on leaving. Best company ever.

We all know the few precious hours of sleep we all get as new parents.. the baths we take feel even more luxurious. Zen Haus was like an extended vacation for us! From the luxurious beds to the incredible bath tub and shower, the spacious living room and don't even get me started on that kitchen! There was no shortage of perfection in this house. Nestled in a very peaceful area of Eugene, it was very quiet and relaxing. I cannot wait to go back and enjoy the beauty of this house once again!

It's SO comfortable, relaxing, soothing with it's Zen-like appeal and statues and gardens and paintings. It's spacious with plenty of beds and bedrooms. We love the super-large showers and bidets. The kitchen is spacious and modern and equipped with everything you need for cooking and dining. All the appliances (including the washer-dryer) are state of the art and working. The Alaska Airlines folks were pretty awesome, though our flight had been set up through Delta, apparently it'd not gotten all the way to the Alaska Airline's desk, so I had to speak with the desk agent while they worked it out, I'm glad I did, they were very friendly, efficient and got the job done without any problem. Mom, using a cane, was one of the first to board the prop plane (First time in ages, that I got to fly one of those!) and she was treated with great care when we got off too, even though, somewhere along the line our luggage got lost.

The driver was also not helpful and didn't know where we were going or when. I called and provided this feedback and nothing was offered. They also mischarged me. I can't recommend them if you are looking for a grown up nice wine tour vs a casual party atmosphere. The website is very misleading.

I heard about this hostel and had planned a day in Eugene around wanting to stay here. There is no shortage of things to do in the area. I went hiking along highway 58, attended the mushroom festival, a death cafe, ecstatic dance and exploded the rose garden. If you're looking for things to do there was a calendar of local events that the staff had put together. This was how I found the death cafe. Everyone at the hostel was very respectful and helpful. I got a great nights rest. I loved getting to stay here and hope to stay again.

I recently booked a private room with a full bed, upon arrival, I was put into a room with bunk beds. I showed the lady at the front desk that my reservation was for a room with a full bed and that the photos on the website showed the same. She explained that they had recently renovated the room, and the website must not be updated yet. She had another room she could put me in with a full bed, but would charge me extra for that. The bunk beds have these small wooden shelves with sharp corners (see photos). I banged into them on a couple of occasions, though luckily not hard enough to cause injury. *** NOTE TO OWNERS: These are dangerous and you will end up with some injured patrons if you leave them. The pure apathy with regards to my room situation (which was an issue caused by mistakes on their website) was the final straw.
