The first one saw I had a stroller and told me he would wait until I'm situated to go, which isn't super common honestly. Sometimes they drive away before you even find a seat. Then, the second driver made sure everybody up front was able to fit. There was a situation where my baby and I, a guy with a pretty large roller cart, and a guy in a wheelchair had to kind of shuffle around. I of course didn't mind getting up and moving so everyone could get a ride. The bus driver figured out how we would all fit. And because I couldn't fit between the two guys, I got off through the back door where the bus driver helped me deboard my stroller safely and effectively. He told me thank you for being flexible, and I thanked him back because he was so helpful. The last driver was just in such a good mood. she had a big smile and even said on the intercom that she hopes everyone has a good day. She actually seemed like she liked her job. I'm so glad to see that LTD has hired more people's persons because it's quite common to come across bus drivers who couldn't care less and have some lame attitudes. It truly brightened my day to experience the kindness back to back.

The station is clean and nice but the restrooms are locked (my Lyft driver said they had too many problems with people shooting up in there) so just ask the employees for the door code). The location is safe and rideshare can easily get to you. There's a vegetarian friendly restaurant 30 feet away, so it was a good place to get lunch before heading to our hotel. (Try their rolls with the butter because the butter is freaking good!)

The Amtrak station in Eugene, OR was our midday stop on day two of our Pacific coast journey from LA to Seattle. It was designated a smoking break stop, which meant we were there for 15 minutes. It was 40 degrees outside, and rainy Leap Day 2024. The station has a large outdoor parking lot and a red brick building that handles checked bags from the train.

I've used My Party Bus for local events, birthdays, wine tastings, and networking events. Sean, the owner, is a stand up guy and always goes above and beyond to ensure everyone is taken care of. Also, good communication is often times something we take for granted, and they always have been great in this regard. Communication with the company was great from the time I made the reservation until we were picked up. Ian was our fantastic driver who picked us up on time and with chocolates . We started on the west side of Eugene in the hills, to the east, and then dropped off at the restaurant where we had dinner reservations. Ian made several stops to take pics of us and drove thru many neighborhoods with beautiful displays. We loved talking to him and hope he enjoys his upcoming Wyoming trip! He noticed my Little Mermaid shirt and Disney suitcase and the rest is history. The whole ride to the airport was epic, we talked Disneyland the whole way. When I made my reservation I told the person what time my flight left from PDX, and I was going to check my bag. This was on Monday before Thanksgiving.I was told the bus was going to go directly from Salem to PDX. She told me I would have plenty of time to catch my flight. I asked her again. I told her again Are you sure I have plenty of time to get to the airport and check my bag. The bus stopped in Woodburn, even though I was told there would be no stops. While on the bus I realized that from the time we left Salem I only had 1 hour and 45 minutes. This was crazy because on non holiday times, they say to get the airport at least 2 hours before your flight. We got stuck in traffic and did not get to the airport until later than expected. The driver told me that Groom Transportation office closes at 10:00 pm. It was 9:50. I was able to get on the next bus at 10:25. If the bus driver had not called the office I would have missed my flight and would be stranded at the airport. The driver was very helpful. I called the supervisor on Monday morning and told her what happened. She said they were told by PDX that an hour and forty five minutes would been plenty of time to catch a flight. I do not believe it for a minute. I said to the supervisor that during Thanksgiving time, it is the most traveled time of the year! How can they tell people they have plenty of time to catch their flight when it was not true. The supervisor did not say she was sorry, nothing! No customer service. In my 1st review I mentioned that I was going to contact the corporate office to share about my experience. Upon returning from my trip (I had to pay for a new plane ticket) my review was erased!!!. DO NOT USE GROOME TRANSPORTATION!! I will be calling the corporate office tomorrow.

Not to be confused with Gruelhound, which provides really awful food…read more I was pretty sad to see this beautiful yellow and brown building that was one of the most historic and lovely places in Eugene, and one which I used on many occasions, with their huge busty (I mean Bus) sign in the old days, replaced by the smaller Greyhound sign in the newer days, and now of course it no longer exists. The iconic double white doors will never be opened again - by bus travelers anyway. Greyhound has been changing a lot of things in the last few years, and it's a shame because they were iconic for a century. So they're now located over in Springfield, so Downtown Eugene no longer has Greyhound service - except for a little roadside stop. I only give it for stars for the memories, and I'm glad I got to come in here before it didn't exist anymore. You gene? Me gene. Genie.

This Greyhound Bus Depot in Eugene, Oregon is CLOSED. The building is empty and is no longer being…read moreused. Tried to pick up a friend that had been dropped off by the bus. She said she was on Pearl Street. I assumed it was the depot. When I got there I found no one and nothing. Turned out they had dropped her off, in the middle of the night, on the corner of Pearl and 5th. This is NO WAY to run a transportation company. People don't even know where passengers are being dropped off!
