my refrigerator stopped working. I called to Fuse and Vlad came the next morning and diagnosed and found the reason. we agreed that the next day in the morning they would fix it for me, and at 9 am they were in front of my door. Thanks to Alex and Vlad for the quick repair/replacement and for saving all my groceries. And price for all was great. Moreover, I applied for a warranty to my insurance company, so Alex immediately (within 2 hours) provided all the necessary documents, despite the fact that more than 1 month had passed. real customer service. I definitely recommend Fuse Hvac & Appliance Repair read more

They respond quickly. They're affordable. Vlad is incredibly polite and friendly. And he shows us what the problem is before he fixes it.

Had a problem with my ice maker freezing up and Alex was not only able to fix it, he also was able to determine the cause which wasn't obvious and didn't require more parts or labor. Excellent trouble shooting skills. Reasonable pricing. This is my go to company for all my future HVAC and appliance repair needs. read more

Appliance Service First came to see if they could fix my refrigerator. They did an excellent job of diagnosing that it was not working because of a failed control board and the price was fair. He showed me what it was and how he checked it. He also gave me the model and part number. He had to order one and come back. I decided to try and fix it myself so ordered the part and did it. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was. I do appreciate them coming out to find out exactly what the problem was and giving me all the information so I was able to do it myself. It saved a lot of money. Thanks guys! read more

My dryer is working like new again! I promise you won't be disappointed if you go with FUSE. Owner Alex Z. is AWESOME! After years working for top rated companies, Alex started his own business and treats his customers like family. That's why I love supporting small businesses. Alex is from Belarus, but don't let his thick accent fool you - he has a genius engineering mind that can fix anything. But I would say the best part about Alex is his sheer determination. He didn't give up until the repair was absolutely perfect. On our last visit Alex showed up with a beautiful fruit-covered tres leches cake for my family. I've never received a gift from a technician! He loves making people happy and he made my family very happy. Dry clothes and cake for everyone! read more

Fast service, Aaron did a great and thorough job with our washer and dryer. Would recommend.

Alex came out and spent almost two hours trying to fix my washer. He wasn't able to because it's such an old model but only charged me for the service call, which was lower than any other quote I had gotten. He was very personable and kept me up to speed as he was trying different things to fix the washer. I would definitely use these guys again. He came out quickly too and updated me as he was on his way to my place so I knew when to be there. This is how service companies should work! I will be using this Fuse again! read more

These folks were able to come out on the same day that I contacted them. My 6 year old front loading washing machine was making a strange sound when turned on and other than that did not work at all. I initially booked/communicated through Yelp. Then the company's text system let me know when the technician was on their way. When he arrived, he was very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. Turns out it needed a new motor. It was the end of the day, he left to get the needed replacement part and returned the next morning to complete the job. He also showed me how to clean the filter which will help the new motor last longer. I had no idea about the filter and never cleaned it for 6yrs, which led to the motor wearing out. The washing machine has been working perfectly ever since. The service was fast, the price was fair, and it saved me $$ from having to purchase a whole new machine. 5 stars. Highly recommend! read more

I called on a Tuesday and they scheduled a visit on Thu for a non-critical fridge issue. Then, they called me back and said that they could move me up to Wed if I wanted. They texted me the day of the service as well as when the tech was headed my way. Ali was very professional, got down to business and fixed what turned out to be a minor issue - charging the $70 visit fee to cover the work. He recommended a future fan replacement and will send me the estimate, but didn't put any pressure on me for immediate replacement of the part or the whole fridge. I'll probably ask Service First to do the repair on my 32+ year fridge because I liked their service. read more

Good job. Fast response time Not everyone works with LG Great technician Really recommended read more

Fixed my washing machine and had it back up and running. Appreciated the honesty and communication.

We (luckily) rarely have needed an appliance repair service, so it always seems like a roll of the dice when making calls. We found First HVAC reviews on Yelp and decided to go with them. We could not have made a better choice. Working with Tony over the phone, and the technician Ali he sent to diagnose are refrigerator issues was a breeze. They even discovered the part that was faulty was still under factory warranty which I had not checked. Ali the tech was personable, professional, extremely meticulous and detailed about his work, and finished the job in a timely manner and left everything as clean as it was when he arrived. I can't say enough how pleased we were with with our choice. I'll never call anyone else, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing an appliance repaired. 10 stars! read more

Both times I've called this company they have scheduled a technician to come out to diagnos the same day of the call, and actually within a few hours of my call. Their staff has always been polite, professional, and timely. I'm very impressed with Tech Service First/AKA HVAC & Appliance Service FIRST. They came out to repair my ice crusher in the door of my freezer/refrigerator, approximately 6 - 8 months ago. They only charged me their standard $70 service fee and in less than 30 minutes my ice crusher was fixed. When they were leaving they said that if they needed to come back that they would need to replace a specific part and they quoted me a reasonable price, but so far, that that has not been needed. The ice crusher is still working perfectly and the refrigerator is over 13 years old. I just scheduled another appointment with them (today) because my over-range microwave (also 13 years old) door is starting to fall off and is causing major functionality issues. I will update this review once they are done with with my microwave and once I have time to see how the repair is working (if a repair is possible). I was planning on buying a new microwave/vent because it doesn't seem to be repairable, but for the sake of using things until they are no longer usable (greener perspective), and the potentially lower bill to fix the problem, I decided to give them a call again. With their outstanding speed and pricing, I can't come up with a good reason not to. Thank you HVAC & Appliance Service/ AKA Tech Service First, for making appliance repairs easy and affordable! I plan to be a lifelong customer and am quite impressed. read more

My refrigerator stopped cooling sufficiently after a power outage at my house. I ran across this company on Yelp and decided to give them a call. They also go by the name "Tech Service First". I actually called another place first, though, and that first place said they could only come out a few days later. I really wanted someone to look at the fridge that day, instead. When you have a refrigerator that no longer works, it just becomes this huge, immediate disruption in your life that you really want to solve as soon as you can. Luckily, HVAC & Appliance Service First was able to send the technician, Daniel, to me in like 15 minutes - on a Saturday! That's insanely fast! Daniel was quickly able to give me a diagnostic. He was explaining it all to me, and I was overwhelmed by how much he knew. On that Saturday, he decided to have me check back with him in 24 hours after giving the fridge enough time to cool down completely. After 24 hours, the fridge still wasn't working, so I called him back. Again, he was able to come out quickly on the same day. This time he looked at the coolant pressure readings and discovered there was likely a leak in the coil. He gave me an estimate of how much it would cost to repair, and he made it clear that because the leak location could be somewhere else in the fridge (which might require tearing it apart!), it could mean that the repair still doesn't fix the problem and may end up costing even more. Based on that, I decided to buy a new fridge. The original fridge was 14 years old. It was old enough to justify getting a new one, rather than potentially wasting thousands of dollars trying to repair it. Daniel helped me make that decision. What's more, they charged me only for the first time they came out, because they only charge for the diagnostic, and this second day out was part of that process. I wanted to pay them for coming out the second day, but they said no. And what they charged was much less than what I thought I was going to be charged. If you can get Daniel, you'll be in good hands. He takes a methodical, conservative approach which will likely end up saving you money. I highly recommend the company and would definitely not hesitate to call them again when I need them. They are awesome! read more

The BEST appliance repair service I have ever received!!!! Alex was very responsive and worked tirelessly to fix a very complex and unusual problem with my convection oven. Not only did he complete a job others were unable to, he was a delightful man! I own rental properties and wish I had known Alex years ago!!!!! Passing on his info to others in the housing industry with complete confidence that he will exceed expectations. I made copies of his business cards and will leave his contact with tenants for direct connection when in need of an appliance service calls or HVAC issues. Wish i could give 10 stars! read more

First of all had a very quick response time to initial request for a quote. Second: very punctual even early to the appointment. Third: professional, polite , respectful and quick. Would recommend. read more

Fabulous service! My dryer wasn't getting hot & they were able to come out & repair it within a few hours. Our tech, Dima, was extremely polite & very professional. Highly recommend, would definitely use again. read more

I would give ten stars if that were possible. The company was quick to respond and set up a time for their technician to come out. Daniel, the technician was extremely professional, very knowledgeable and communicated clearly about the issue. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again and strongly recommend them. read more

Great experience with Service First and my tech Ali. He immediately diagnosed the issue with my Whirlpool fridge and within 35-40 minutes he fixed the defrost/drainage issue. I have them on speed dial from now on. read more

Great experience with Amal and TechService FIRST. Very fast response and diagnosis of our malfunctioning oven, even the day after Christmas. He explained the problems clearly and what repairs were needed. A couple of days to get the parts in; it is now fixed with a 6-month warranty on the repairs. Would be quick to use them in the future. read more

Despite their need to reschedule me and another unforeseen situation not their fault, they were friendly, fast and did a good job.

It's a pleasure to be able to recommend a local business! I found Tech Service FIRST on-line and was able to request a contact on-line. It had the highest ratings and responded first! Service was available that same day! I'd lived with a frozen-up ice-maker for months. It wasn't an easy fix or diagnosis of the issue. Kiryl was professional and patient throughout, both with me and the refrigerator! His knowledge and experience in the repair industry became clear as we chatted. He shared information that will benefit me in the future. And, he was able to have the ice-maker in working condition before he left, even though a part was needed to ensure that the problem would not come back. I was especially impressed that he left the freezer and the surrounding area impeccably clean before he left. Two days later Kiryl was back to replace the needed part. The whole experience was an "upper" for me. First of all, I didn't realize how much I was missing having ice available! Second, I feel like the expense involved was quite reasonable. Third, and most important, is that I now have a go-to repair service that I trust for all my aging appliances! Thank you, Kiryl, and Tech Service FIRST! read more

Ali installed a gas cooktop and range vent for me. He did an excellent job. The price was very competative and he did the job in 3 hours. Ali is very friendly and left my kitchen very clean. He was resourceful when we needed to slightly modify a cabinet for the range duct work. I plan on useing this company again. read more

Amal, the service technician was a pleasure to meet. He explained everything I needed to know about my ice maker. I rarely used the ice until this years long hot summer. This summer I used ice every day. I think I wore the ice maker out. He was fast, early and efficient. He cleaned up after the replacement. Amal is a professional and very thorough. Thank you for your speedy response and replacement of my ice maker. read more

I highly recommend this company. It was easy to get scheduled and Amal was very competent and professional when replacing my ice maker.

Quick to respond, on-time, explained everything honestly and clearly. Would definitely use again.

Owner wrote back to correct an initial bad situation and called to follow up many times which was appreciated.

I had a problem with my water line and refrigerator that was difficult to diagnose. Daniel worked hard to rule out all the possibilities, and patiently answered my questions and told me what he was doing. In the end, it's not my refrigerator and I will need to check with an electrician next. I would call this company for any appliance repair. They arranged a same day appointment, showed up exactly on time, are honest, and provide great service. read more

Amal was awesome! He came out same day to assess my Refrigerator water filter issue. He ordered a part and came back two days later, as soon as the part came in on a holiday weekend. He was nice, thorough, and responsive. read more

Our refrigerator stopped cooling. Everything in the freezer melted, and nothing got it to work. He was willing to come out immediately, quickly determined that the compressor was faulty, and gave us a really reasonable estimate to fix it. Fantastic experience and highly recommend! read more

Alex has been to our home twice, to fix a stove vent in Nov '21 and just this week to fix a stacked washer/dryer that had stopped working. I feel Alex is extremely trustworthy and offers fair pricing. He also looked at a stand-alone ice-maker and after examining it for 45 minutes, told us it was not worth fixing (I don't believe he charged us for that time.) Arrives within the timeframe given. Hopefully nothing else will break soon, but when it does, I will be calling Alex and Tech Service FIRST. read more

I reached out to FIRST via yelp yesterday (aka Memorial Day 2022). They not only responded within 2 hours, but also scheduled an appointment the next day. Aliaksandr was timely and professional. Aliaksandr was extraordinarily thorough and not only went under the house to look at the drainage line, but also examined the entire Diamond Air minisplit unit. He took his time diagnosing and addressing the clogged unit (blew out the debris, leveled the unit, and cleaned out the drain channels). I have had consistent AC issues over the past 2 years. There have been 5 other AC repair folks who have come through and Aliaksandr was by far the most thorough out of all of them. The pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommend working with FIRST. read more

Very quick and responsive. Also very thorough when explaining the diagnosis, what steps needed to be taken, etc.

I had such a good experience with Fuse Hvac & Appliance Repair that I used them twice in one week. First, I smelled gas coming from my gas dryer. I shut off the gas and looked for an appliance repair on yelp. Fuse responded to my outreach within a few minute and scheduled me for the next day. The came right on time, worked quickly and fixed the issue. What I appreciate is that the repair person took time to explain where the leak was coming from, and checked the dryer for additional issues. The next day my microwave stopped working, it's a Bosch built in unit and not all repair services will (or want to) work on Bosch. I reached out to Fuse again, and again they responded quickly. When they came out to check the microwave they didn't have the part I needed, BUT took time to find the part and came out on the weekend to finish the repair. Absolutely great service done by people who genuinely care for their customers. Highly recommended! read more

Fuse and Vlad were great. They sent Vlad out very quickly and he fixed the washer so quickly I asked if he could take a look at the ice maker in the fridge as well. They had to order a part that of course with COVID shipping delays took a little while to get in (no big deal to me at all, it is just ice). Vlad followed up when the part came in and now I am enjoying both the washer and the ice maker being fixed after months of just putting up with both of them being on the fritz. I will definitely call Fuse and request Vlad in the future. They did a great job and were always on time. The fees were reasonable. (Not sure what other reviewers were complaining about - no legit service company can do any repairs under $100 - they have to pay their employees, insurance, taxes, car/gas, etc. I run my own business so unless you want to YouTube the repair yourself then don't expect free service repairs, that's just unreasonable). I felt the prices were fair and the service was professional. Will definitely use them again. Also note I have a Samsung washer and multiple other companies refused to even work on them so extra star to Fuse for being able to handle a more difficult brand. Thanks again Vlad! read more

The response after I submitted a quote was almost instant. Communication to schedule an appointment was professional and quick. The tech was able to move my appointment up earlier but called to make sure it worked with my schedule first. Once the tech arrived, he was professional, respectful and communicated clearly about what he was going to do. We will definitely use HVAC & Appliance Service FIRST for our home appliance needs in the future. read more

Instead of making calls, I was able to book the first appointment online when my refrigerator wasn't cooling. Second, this company can send technicians on the weekends which is great. I was also able to communicate with them and the company through texting, a third plus as a Deaf customer! Vlad, Daniel, and Ali were friendly and did a great job. Lastly, the company is responsive and prompt. read more

Alex is phenomenal. He truly cares about getting perfection with his repairs. Very refreshing.

Personable customer service, good communication throughout the process and reasonable price.
