They continue to do a great job taking care of their customers after the fire. Club members get priority and they save a lane for club members. All of the associates were really friendly. Robert was super helpful with helping choose handguns to rent to fit our intent, and in teaching me how to shoot them properly. It is cool how they have a complimentary soda fountain & I felt like the prices we paid were way cheaper than other gun range rentals. Came to this range with a friend to fire off some rounds. Brought my own equipment. They inspect everything you bring as any range does. Bought ammo to use, prices are a bit up there on the ammo, but not outrageous. I found this little gem while looking for a range that was open just a little later when I got the urge to shoot after work. It's hidden not too far from the Valley Auto Mall. It's bright and clean with a nice gun store next to it. It's become my go to indoor range. Yes it's a bit smaller than the others but the staff and hours more than make up for that. read more

Came with a friend when she got off work so we got here around 5:45pm. They were all out of her Glock 42 (.380) ammo and didn't have any of my 9mm ammo so good thing I brought my own ammo just in case. I asked the range check in guy if he knew when they were getting more ammo in and he didn't know which was a bummer. There was no wait, lanes are first come, first serve but only one lane was taken at the time. There are 7 lanes total. They have ear and eye protection if you don't have your own, provided with your lane rental. *Lane fees are $20 for 1 person and $10 for the additional person (2 persons per lane max) **Ladies day is THURSDAY and lane rental is $10 **Military/Fire/Police/60+ $18 Everyday **Casino Workers $15 M-F **Gun Store Workers $5 M-F *Targets are $.50 (you can bring your own if you have them) There's a $5 off Lane Rental with a Yelp Check In :) I saw on their website Free Range Time for shopping local when you bring in your new gun and receipt from ANY gun store in the Vegas Valley (incl theirs) - one time range use so I will have to bring my receipt in and see if I can use that deal. Looks like they used to have a Free Firearm Training for Women on Wednesdays according to their website but that must have stopped due to COVID and maybe now just private lessons available which look like $75 per person and $35 each additional person up to 4 max per group. Went here for my first time since retiring and moving to Nevada. I carried a firearm in my previous occupation for almost 32 years, and it really wasn't one of my favorite things to do. But after carrying for so many years, I need to still practice, and also get my conceal carry license. The crew here is great, very nice, very professional. My wife who is a beginner and I went to the range for practice unfortunately she shot 2 rounds above the line on the target and was warned she can't shoot above the line. On the third target she shot 1 round above the line and was immediately asked to leave . Apparently beginners are not welcome. read more

I really appreciate and love the "chill vibe" of my local Green Valley Range. You don't feel intimidated or embarrassed to ask their knowledgeable and professional staff any question related to firearms. That won me over right from the start! I had an excellent private lesson with Instructor Rob Lyons and he was very, very respectful and efficient in the use of my time with him. I appreciate that as a "woman on the go" who is both a full-time caregiver and still working full-time but, also wants to continue her education and training with her EDC, Rob made the best use of my time by tailoring my lesson to my particular needs and goals. He succeeded wonderfully! The range is very "intimate" and I felt completely relaxed through out my lesson with Rob. Oh, by the way, they also have FREE SODAS!!! It was awesome since it was 110 degrees when I got there!!! In closing, Green Valley Range is my new "go to" Family in Firearms as the staff really cares and is very attentive when you walk through the door. Don't wait on renewing your ccw. I planned this months before but life happens . Was easily able to schedule online my half day renewal class. George the instructor greeted me at door to walk in my Glock 43 since I forgot to bring a case. Proceeded to qualify on range prior to class room tim. Pretty straightforward and a smooth process. Classroom time is where my whole mindset changed. George runs the class that causes you to really think about the privilege to have a ccw permit. It may discourage some to carry concealed and that might be ok due to the liability it Carries. Really got a lot of value out of his class. Liked how he started the class wanting us to discuss our background, career and gun handling experience. Really enjoyed the class. read more

Although I did not rent a gun there was a selection in all calibers available for rental, and they were priced decently. I went during happy hour which made the total cost for 3 shooters $45 which is amazing! The price included 2 target per person and eye protection and ear protection. The website for this store is decent. I looked it over and decided to buy a gift card for my brother who lives out in Nevada. I spoke to someone on the phone and they said we could buy him a gift card over the phone but they couldn't do it when I called and told me to call back. I called back a few days later, and then they told me they wouldn't do a gift card over the phone. This put me in a tough spot. The person on the phone was not very friendly about it either. This may seem like just a complaint from a disgruntled person and I'm sure their facility is great. I would not want to go here just based off of that interaction alone though. Functional range and really good, attentive staff. Store is not large but they do a good job of stocking it correctly. If they ever move it would be nice to have a nicer range area. It's functional but plain, visually unappealing, and even with hearing protection the air volume is crazy loud. Location is good near the Henderson Auto Mall, that's great for me. Recently obtained some training from Jessica. From the moment I came into the business the staff was professional and did not make me feel stupid asking questions. Once I paid, Jessica advised me she was still finishing up with another client and apologized (she wasn't more than 5 or 10 minutes behind) during that time another employee offered for me to sit on the couch and offered some soda from their machine or water. The bathrooms were also very clean with soap to remove lead. Jessica was patient and listened to my concerns and I would definitely recommend her and this business--I will probably contact her again for additional training. read more

Me and a buddy spent over $200 at this range shooting their overly priced automatics. When we were done we were hanging out at the parking lot and the owner comes out with a handgun in one hand yelling us to leave because we were loitering. I have never felt threaten like that from a business owner ever. I had my firearm on me and if he had drawn on me that would have ended badly for both of us. I don't understand what is hard to understand, you or another owner came out barking at us to leave with a pistol in one hand. Did I say you drew on me? Not all of us were smoking, so don't start implying I was breaking the law. Again, you came out with a gun in your hand yelling at us to leave after we spent over $200 at your shop. This is my third time a range, and my first time to GVR. We were greeted immediately and cheerfully. I'm still new to this, so I had questions, all of which were answered thoroughly. I tried my friend's 9mm, 40, and AR15 (for fun). The 22 is super easy but I'm afraid to rely on it for self protection. The 9mm and 40 are way too much for me. I enjoyed their CCW class. They didn't glorify self-defense in the sense of, 'I can't wait to kill someone if they even look at me wrong!" They explained the harsh realities of having to protect yourself, including the psychological, financial, and court system repercussions of doing so, whether justified or not. They also did a good job at explaining how to safely handle situations you're involuntarily put in and how to keep yourself safe while not putting bystanders in further jeopardy. I learned a lot, even as a long-time gun owner. I feel like I got my money's worth and plenty of good advice and a wide variety of resources were provided. 10/10 would recommend it. read more

These guys are awesome! I can see the supplies of guns, ammo and kits are in shortage due to demands during such a crazy year. Although I can't really buy ammo here because of the shortage, they're very accommodating in letting me know when they will have shipments in for more ammo or supplies I requested. Aside from the store, I love that their range stays open longer than most places in Vegas. Still, staying open 1hr longer makes a difference when closing at 7pm instead of 6pm. It was very convenient for me to get off work at 5pm just make my way down there and rent a slot for me to shoot. It was the only day convenient for my instructor to meet up with me as well to qualify me for my CCW. Let me tell you, if you got good gun control and aim, then you can pass easily. I believe it was just $25 for 2 Target papers with complimentary eye protection and headphones. They sanitize these equipment before and after rental. Ear plugs are just 50 cents too. read more
