First time shooting a gun at a shooting range, and it was a great experience! My husband and I came on a Sunday and we were able to get started immediately. Since this was my first time, I couldn't really compare it to other experiences, but one thing was that we were right next to 3 other people so it was very loud. I saw other rooms that didn't have any/less people in it, but we were put in the full room. Overall, I liked my experience here, but would probably want to try shooting at an outdoor range. read more

Visited The Range 702 recently just to check the place out and ask about getting my concealed carry permit. Really cool selection of guns, at decent prices and the whole place is clean and well set up. The staff was super friendly and didn't make me feel rushed or dumb for asking questions. They explained the concealed carry process really clearly and made it easy to understand what steps to take. Being from California, this course really caught me up with all the laws in Nevada and differences from carry license expectations between each state. Casey made the class entertaining and not boring which is nice because it's a full 8 hour class. Make sure to bring snacks and water as well. All of the staff is very nice at the facility and doesn't make you feel unwelcome. I spoke to both sides of the registers because I had questions on the memberships and about the facility and everyone was awesome! Went here not too long ago for a 1 on 1 beginner class to learn about and shoot my first firearm and my Instructor Ian explained the basics of the firearm very well and the way he taught me helped me understand very easily how to go about checking/holding the firearm, and knowing the in's and outs of a firearm. I also have to shoutout James at the counter when I went to buy my first gun. He and Ian explained to me about all the accessories there are and what specific accessories would improve my gun. The workers were so close and made fun at each other showing how close they are and made me want to work with them because it seemed like a great and fun place to be. I signed up for The Range 702's CCW renewal class mostly out of convenience and affordability. I also was curious as they appear to have a big social media presence. The CCW renewal class started promptly and was well organized. All directions were clearly laid out in the confirmation email and follow-up emails, including parking across the street in the Hustler parking lot. The renewal course runs four hours and includes about three breaks, each roughly 10-15 minutes, which made the pacing reasonable and manageable. Our initial instructor was Nick B, who stepped in to cover while Jeffrey B arrived a bit late unexpectedly. Nick was great, calm, approachable, and clearly experienced. He has that "gentle giant" presence, which is especially impressive considering he's competed in Ironman more than once. Jeffrey appeared extremely knowledgeable, not just about firearms and training, but also the retail side of the business, which gave the whole operation a very competent, professional feel. What stood out to me most is that The Range 702 really does appear to be a one-stop shop. From the brochures and information available, they offer everything from basic firearm instruction to CCW courses, one-on-one training, home defense classes, gunsmithing, and even custom holsters for hard-to-fit firearms like certain micros. And none of it appeared outrageously priced. The CCW class itself had its own dedicated shooting range, separate from the public range, which was a nice touch and made the experience feel focused and efficient. Honestly, I was afraid the overall vibe would be super performative, but I was surprised in that the staff and attendees were welcoming with no ego & no weird energy (iyk yk). I also really liked seeing female representation among the staff. Firearms spaces are still often male-dominated, and it was refreshing to see clear balance and inclusion here. They also offer opportunities for kids and teens, which for me, speaks to their emphasis on safety and education. Overall, my experience with The Range 702 exceeded my expectations. What I initially assumed might be all show turned out to be a solid, well-run operation with knowledgeable instructors, a wide range of services, and a chill environment. Cool place by the look, but not worth the price. Paid $260 for six mags total -- no target change, so by the end I was shooting at paper dust. My Desert Eagle jammed three times, and the staff just took the live rounds and moved on. No replacement, no apologize, just "you're done." Fun for a quick Vegas story, not for value or service. If you're just checking a box on your Vegas bucket list, it'll do. But if you actually care about the experience, there are better ranges where your bullets, and your money, hit something more satisfying. read more

We went with the One & Done single gun package and a couple of Triple Threat gun packs for our group. Everything was well organized, and we felt very safe the entire time--the staff was professional and walked us through everything clearly. This place is just ok. It's more of a tourist attraction. ​Renting guns are way overpriced. Apparently there are a lot of celebrities that come but it's most likely because it's close to the airport. Inside is nothing special, actually pretty small. It not dirty, but you can tell its been years since any TLC was given. Paint chipping everywhere and just overall blackish gray from all the gunpowder. People are a hit and miss. There are nice people in there but also 1 or 2 "jerks" that treat you like you are dumb. For example, I went up to the counter one time and asked about "renting" a gun. The guy looks at me and says "we dont rent guns." I pause for a sec and then ask "oh i meant how much would it be to rent a shotgun and like 20 shots?" He then repeats with an attitude that they don't rent guns. So I just walk away and go talk to a person I know, where he explains to me that they don't "rent" guns but instead you pay for an "experiance" to use the guns they have in-store. Like dude really because I used the word "rent" instead of "experiance" you're gonna treat me like an idiot and pretend to not know what im asking about? Cool thanks Thanos. I'm actually gonna take a star off and keep it at 2 instead of 3 because I just remembered this and it annoyed me. I still come here because it's close and I have my own gun, but I did find an outdoor range that's a little out of my area but very friendly people. I may start to shift over there. They also have longer ranges available. Here the range is only 15 yards.​ read more

Always love coming here. Great clean functional lanes, friendly workers and reasonable prices. The guys and gals that work here are very knowledgeable and helpful with firearm information, laws, CCW questions, and so forth. They have a great selection of guns for purchase as well as a good amount of ammunition. They don't have as many accessories like magazines, holsters, eye and ear protection, safes, backpacks, etc. Other gun stores have more but you don't come here for accessories you come to shoot at a safe, clean indoor range. Shoutout to Carlo and Greg today. Super friendly and professional guys that know their guns! Great talking to them today and giving me and my dad great insights on some of the guns we shot there today. Only thing I don't like is you can't practice and shoot from a concealed draw. As a CCW holder I like going to certain outdoor ranges that allow this. It's definitely necessary to practice from a concealed draw if you carry regularly. But I get it's probably for safety reasons. 1 Star -- Wow, What a Treat If you've ever wanted to pay premium prices for the privilege of being micromanaged on the clock while trying to enjoy your hobby, this is the place for you. Let me start by giving credit where it's due: most of the staff were surprisingly respectful, professional, and efficient -- which makes it all the more impressive that the range safety officer managed to singlehandedly suck the joy out of the entire experience. He struts around like he's guarding Fort Knox, barking orders with the charm of a DMV line and the humility of a reality show villain. Safety is important, sure -- but there's a big difference between keeping people safe and acting like you're commanding a battalion in Fallujah. And then there's the time limit. One hour. One. For the price they charge, I half expected someone to reload my mags and pat my back between rounds. But no -- just the privilege of watching the clock tick down while praying the guy next to me doesn't get scolded for breathing too enthusiastically. Compare that to American Shooter, where $15 gets you the freedom to shoot all day like a normal human being, not like you're renting a bowling lane at peak hours. I went through the whole training course with Casey Bridges to attain my CCW and it was very informative while having some humor to keep the class from feeling crass. The place is very special and you can feel the passion for arms training displaying the importance of keeping up with the familiarity of using a deadly weapon responsibly. In California, they pay upwards to $600 to certify for only two years. They have the better value here at the fraction of the price. A very welcoming place with excellent gun safety staff! read more
