Not a bad shop, great selection and service. I did however pay $699 for a Glock 43x that retails for around $500 everywhere else so that stung a bit. Not sure where they get their prices. read more

Thank you Elyssa and everybody who helped me. I appreciate the great service! Especially with me being so far away you guys could've just dismissed me or blew me off but you went above and beyond like I was standing in the store! Hope I spelled your name right lol! I see people posting about prices being high but I got a gun that's super hard to get cheaper than anywhere I've seen so far! I couldn't be more happy! read more

Spurlock's Gun Shop - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

Extremely rude employees! Everything is over priced & unwilling to budge on anything. Called us "dummies" as we walked in the door. Asked "can you dummies pick up that dummy round?" Very unprofessional staff! Made the mistake.of a.2nd visit, I had a transfer sent there & I just left the hospital with a broken leg in 4 places. I went to just pick up/transfer but the guy wouldn't release my gun until I waited for an ambulance. I told him I literally just left the hospital, he didn't care & held my gun hostage until everyone's time was wasted. read more

No I didn't Fail, it was unresolved which I told you will happen BEFORE You took my money! I have a CCW and passed much more expansive background, unresolved was because they needed more time and it was up to the FFL to let the transfer go through or not. Your employee and u yourself knew this ahead of time and told me not to worry because I have my CCW. So fully knowing you were not going to sell to me and taking money then saying I can to another transaction with my CCW and sell me the P365X at $699 is ridiculous and unethical. You knew I was going to comeback unresolved yet you still did all that you did. If you're going to respond, respond with the TRUTH! Freedom Firearms did the tec pack for $640!! I already have my brand new Sig P365X from elsewhere that was cheaper and I was in and out in 15mins. Dont act like you did it to protect the public you did it cause it was a sleezy practice and wrong read more

Spurlock's Gun Shop - $640 tech pack at Freedom Firearms I came back unresolved I didn't fail anything, also have my CCW - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

Service is horrible, the help is rude and not very helpful. prices are high, I found the exact same gun in town for a much lower price. I recommend staying away from this gun shop. John k, the business may be over 40 years, I've been in there many times, also purchased guns there before. However the last time I was in there is exactly what my review says. Sorry that you don't like it. read more

refused my friends service, for no reason, almost felt racially profiled. The man who helped us was rude right when we walked in.

The staff is amazing and knowledgeable! Took the time to answer all our questions. Showed different options to find the best fit.

My new favorite place! Spurlocks pricing is competitive, and their customer service is unrivaled. I appreciate their knowledgeable approach and the fact that they took the time to listen to my needs and made recommendations from there. What they didn't have in stock they were able to custom order for me. Their selection, as well as integrity and knowledge make them my new number one go-to gun store. 10/10 read more

Just had an excellent experience here. Ive been to a few different gun shops in the vegas area and this one is easily one of my favorites. The people here are great, they are knowledgable and friendly. Especially Megan, who is just a gem. They have a pretty good selection of firearms for every price point, even some super high end stuff you don't see every day. If youre looking for a chill laid back place with a great selection this might be the spot for you. read more

I have been a loyal customer of Spurlock for many years. I have purchased multiple firearms, including handguns and long guns. The only problem is...the only thing that seems to be worth any money is what they're selling. I have taken Firearms back to them, that they sold to me , and to my amazement, I was belittled and insulted by the small amount of help or return on investment they would offer. I spent over $1500 on one handgun at their establishment and less than four months later was offered $300 for it. Not to mention, Cowboy Clem (manager) was a total jerk because I thought fair market value would be considered. If you like way overpriced firearms and enjoy being treated like a piece of garbage, this is the place for you. Other than that Spurlock's could and should go out of business....no one would notice! read more

Spurlock's Gun Shop - Dope pieces they have - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

There are a fair number of gun shops in town, some geared toward tourists and idiots, some geared toward gun fanatics, and some geared toward the average Joe just looking to protect himself or herself in the all too common event of home invasion, robbery, car jacking, mugging, rioting, and anything else that happens when shit hits the fan. Spurlock's fits into that latter category. It doesn't have a range, a lounge, guns for rent, or any of that fly-by-night tomfoolery that you'd find in a gun shop on or near the Strip. Nope, Spurlock's is simply a long standing, reputable, organized, and knowledgeable shop for any gun enthusiast from Straight up beginner to Special Forces Commander. The staff is friendly, approachable, and lack the intimidation that you can often find in mom 'n pop gun stores. They buy and sell firearms and firearm equipment and offer very reasonable and fair prices for both buying and selling. If your item isn't something they are interested in, they will even happily refer you to one of their many competitors without blinking an eye. They genuinely want their customer base to be happy and become return customers, as I certainly have. I have been to many gun shops, pawn shops, and even local gun shows in town, and I can honestly say that Spurlock's is top of my list for all of my firearm needs and wants. read more

Great shop. Great people. Great selection. Prices are fair. The workers made me feel welcome and the transaction was quick and smooth. Definitely recommend. Got myself a used sig 365 for a great deal in great shape. Looks almost brand new! They also buy your used weapons if they have an interest in it. read more

Excellent helpful service they really care about your safety. Pricing on target especially if you are on a budget.

You totally forgot to mention how insulting you were. Telling a grieving widow she'll be just fine because of her body is gross under any circumstances. Read the other reviews fro women. There's a clear and ugly pattern. The reason for making the appointment was because I believed you were being fair. When I learned how bad you took advantage of me, I canceled the appointment. And since you're spreading falsehoods here, let me clarify, I yelled after I was called derogatory names. Women are allowed to voice their sides just like you little men. read more

Went in to do a private transfer , while waiting for and filling out forms . Tennille kept the wait fun and she was very helpful

I purchased two Henry rifles from Spurlock's last week and was blown away about how friendly and knowledgeable the crew at this shop were. i just took my CCW class with John and Mark. I am a wheelchair bound disabled Marine and everyone I tried to sign up with could not accommodate me. This is by far the most DETAILED and informative CCW class I have ever taken. I have been certified in Illinois 6 times and this was my 3rd time here in Nevada. This was my first time using Spurlock, but it won't be my last . great job John and Mark. read more

5 star customer service and advice with anything, absolutely huge gun inventory along with any optic you would need to pair it with

Since my first review was deleted by the owner, i figured I'd try it once more, since my experience was horrible & uncalled for. So, here we go! The moment i walked into this shop, i was immediately judged & underestimated By the owner, short white man, & whoever the tall black man is. The banter went on about how women have nooo idea what they're doing when they go gun shopping. It got old pretty quickly. The men around here have this weird thing where they need to boast about how much they know & how much, i, "dont". Went with a good friend to look at cc firearms. The owner is known for being a sexist pos. His other reviews regarding his demeanor are 100% true. He is thee most misogynistic person I've ever met. (I've actually had a friend work for him & she even said the reason she left is because he's really inconsiderate & ontop of that, incredibly sexist) He looked at me & actually said "you shouldn't cross your arms in here" In the snarkiest & condescending tone he could. I asked "why not?" He said "because when he's with you buying your shoes does he cross his arms?" assuming I'm not delved in the gun world & haven't seen a gun in my entire life. I'm an advid shooter. I suggested to my friend that he should purchase the gun he was actually in for. The sexism & belittling when i was in there was astronomic. The audacity of the owner has to be so oblivious to being so chauvinistic-- asked to have a good review written about the shop for some free scrounged up 9mm which he couldn't even remember what ammo brand it was. When asked, he didn't make eye contact & just said "it's factory idk" It's important to know if these are reloads, isn't it? If you're a woman please do not expect to be welcomed or treated with respect. You will be talked down to like a child, & expected to just take a sale without being educated on why they're suggesting that firearm. I dont expect mutual respect in this industry. But i do appreciate it. Avoid this shop at all costs. Drive the extra few miles to another place if you can. read more

Great service bought a rifle and came with a few attachments. Great guys working here.

Very awesome experience! the people here are satirical, funny and chill. Great time there, always recommend.

Went in over the weekend to pick up the gun I had purchased online. Once in store I was quickly brought up and got my paperwork started for my background check. After about 30 minutes I got a call that my background had passed and the gun was ready for pickup! The employees were amazing in helping me pick out a foregrip which suited how I can hold the rifle due to a disability and fell exactly where I was looking price wise, and I cannot be more pleased! read more

Spurlock's Gun Shop - New Diamondback DB15 - Guns & Ammo Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

Great guys behind the counter, great selection, and super helpful with the technical aspects

Terrible customer service. Won't come back. Don't waste your time with this shop. I'm a local and took a brand new 12gauge with sling and carrier to sell as I called ahead and they claim to purchase used firearms. First they gave me a song and dance about the sling and no value etc. Then they said we are too far off and dismissed me after driving all the way over here. I was asking $225 for everything, which is nothing for a brand new in the box fired once 12gauge. Would have even taken $200 or maybe even trade value. Too far off? Maybe just discuss over the phone instead of making potential customers drive all the way over to show in person. Back to Range Henderson I go. read more

I'm a first time hun buyer/owner and they made it easy. The young guy there knows his job. I bought the gun online and had it shipped to their store. They took care of the background check and transfer procedure with speed and it was a all around good experience. It's a little shop right off Water St. It's super close to the house and that was very convenient. I'm a girl and they weren't condescending like you find at some shops. The only lil suggestion I would make to the staff (not the kid) is be sure who you're talking to cuz libs buy guns too! read more

Bizarre interaction at this store, I don't recommend this anti-2A/Fudd shop: Was in town for work from STL and with time to burn, decided to check out a couple local gun stores when I ended up here. Nothing caught my eye except for a magazine I rarely see so I bought it. During checkout the young guy asks me "Are you a resident?" I've never heard that question and told him "Nope". He takes a pause, and asks me if I'm from California. Told him nope, from Missouri. Now this has me piqued, and I ask him what's the deal with California? Why all the questions? Young guy explains to me that apparently CA has some sort of magazine ban and a lot of CA people try to get around this ban by buying from this store. Ok that's interesting.... anyways he then proceeds to ask me again "Are you sure you're not from California?" Now I'm slowly getting irritated but try to be patient and tell him again, nope I'm from Missouri. He's checking me out then asks me for ID and I'm about to comply and pull out my DL when I pause and decide not to as I've hit my limit. Never been through so much drama trying to give a store money for a magazine. I slide my DL back in and instead decide to troll this guy and show him my AZ CCW (I travel frequently to the Southwest for work and have an AZ ccw for reciprocitiy since NV doesn't accept MO ccw). He takes a look at it and goes, uhhh do you have a DL? Tell him nope (trying my hardest not to laugh). He then asks me to promise I'm not from California. Ok I promise. He then rings me up and I'm on my way out. Now I've had some time to reflect on this bizarre incident and tell some friends about this strange story... Why are these guys going out of their way to try to half-ass enforce some communist CA policy when it has nothing to do with their own NV state laws? Do they work for CA?? I really don't get it, in fact, CA residents should be getting a discount for being behind enemy lines!! Super anti-2A/Fudd gun store. If you're looking for a break action shotgun (the only weapon one should ever need of course) and want to reminisce about the good ole days, this is the store for you. For anyone else pro-2A, don't support these guys, they are working against you. read more

If you're looking for that go to place for all of your firearm needs, look no further! Definitely one of the most knowledgeable staffs in the valley. The entire experience was top notch and the level of detail they give you on each firearm made the difference. The overall value on their handguns, which was my main purpose for stopping in, was an added bonus. Thank you, Spurlocks read more
