Jeremy was awesome. He was super informative and transparent. He helped me with a jammed cartridge in my bolt action rifle.

"I have a very strict gun control policy; if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it."…read moreClint Eastwood We live in the greatest country in the world, in fact we have a Constitution with guaranteed rights that shall not be infringed upon. To remind you: if you forgot or were not up to date on your rights; you have the right to bear arms. Certain laws need to be observed in society to acquire that weapon of course. We don't want to be red flagged or anything, so here we stand. We need to protect ourselves and those that we love most. Should you choose to be armed do it safely and lawfully. Shall we lock and load, first off you need to select the weapon that's best for your situation. These are personal choices that you have the right to do. Once you have selected the right firearm it's time to do some research. I highly recommend Hickok45 to anyone. This gentleman outlines what it is truly like to shoot the firearm that you have selected. He demonstrates with decades of knowledge about that certain said firearm. Ask in the store too. The staff here are highly friendly and knowledgeable about all the pieces that they sell. They are not out to see you as just a sale. The staff wants you to be comfortable and happy with your firearm selection. All the background checks will be done on site. The current laws on firearms will prevent an individual from taking the gun selection home that day. If you have a concealed weapons carry you might be able to walk out after some checks with your said weapon. Know the law. It can mean the difference from owning a gun and not owning a gun. The second amendment states: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed." After your purchase it's time to go home and wait for their call. As long as nothing shows negative on your background time to go get your new firearm. Be prepared and time to enjoy. Shoot off a few 100 rounds to break in your new gun. For all the accessories and ammo you need they can assist with your future purchases too. This is a local business so your money here is well spent. Remember to keep firearms from the foolish. In order to insure your security use your firearm wisely and correctly following all the rules of necessity and society. Many prayers to you, yours and our nation.

The employees showed zero customer service skills and were rude when I asked a simple question. I would not recommend this store. Thankfully, I ended up going to a different gun store in Vegas where I received exceptional service. The employee there went above and beyond--he took the time to explain things to me and even showed me where the items were located. That's the kind of help I was hoping for, but unfortunately the employees at Lock N Load Tactical refused to assist and one was just on his phone.

I've been…read morecoming here for quite some time, especially to use the indoor pistol range, and it continues to be one of the most underrated gems in the valley. During the week, there's almost never a wait, something most people don't realize which makes it an ideal spot for consistent practice without the usual crowds. Lately, I've been meeting my nephew here for our regular range sessions, running a few hundred rounds and working on tightening our grouping. It's become a great routine for both of us. A huge part of why we keep coming back is the staff especially Chase S. His guidance has been outstanding. Whether it's reinforcing the basics or offering more advanced marksmanship tips, he's been patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping shooters improve. The progress my nephew has made is a direct reflection of that support. If you're looking for a clean, safe, well‑run environment to train, learn, or just enjoy some time on the range, this is absolutely the place. Highly recommend it for shooters of all experience levels. Great times all around!

I knew exactly what I wanted and had already done my research, but instead of being helped I was immediately talked down to and dismissed by the employee assisting me. He was a larger, heavily tattooed guy wearing glasses who kept mentioning his "military experience" while lecturing me. He told me the firearm I wanted "wasn't good for a woman," criticized how I held it in the few seconds it was in my hands, well yeah hello there was 4 other people in aisle with the used guns of course imma be holding it a different way I'm not about to be pointing it at them! Anyways he then started running through scenarios about me clearing my home and someone taking the gun from me. The entire interaction felt like he had already decided I shouldn't have one at all, which is not his call to make and not what I was there for. What made it worse is this isn't even my first firearm (it's number 8) , which he never bothered to ask. Even if I was new ...bro everyone learns somewhere, and the whole reason I was there was to purchase my a new one and add it to my collection and continue training with it and learning more about it in classes. Instead I was treated like I didn't belong there in the first place. I ended up walking away with my child because I was so frustrated and uncomfortable, while my husband stayed behind to finish the interaction. I will not be returning to Bass Pro for any firearm purchases. There are plenty of local shops here that treat women like capable adults, and they'll be getting my business from now on.

With the desire to purchase some ammo to do some shooting with a friend outside of Henderson, I walked from our hotel to this shop. Keeping it real: once you're off the strip... you're really OFF the strip; the neighborhood around this gun shop is an eclectic blend of commercial/light industrial with a healthy scattering of skin-dancin' joints. I didn't feel unsafe walking during the day, but it might have been a little sketchy at night. Once you're at the store, you're fine-- well lit, clean, and staffed by professionals. Upon entry, I was greeted by a young man behind the counter who was polite and helpful. No strange California Ammo purchase rules here, so I got what I needed for a good price and was on my way. This is also one of those spots in greater Las Vegas proper where you can squeeze off some rounds on an automatic at their indoor range. Buying ammo at the counter while you can hear someone just blowing through a magazine was slightly disconcerting, but the place seems to have both operations under control. Plenty of firearms in the glass case at better prices than my home state, but didn't linger on once my business was completed. I'm glad I checked this spot out, and will visit again. No hassle, good prices, great staff.... Three ways they beat a lot of CA firearms and ammo establishments.

He's in the military and owns a bunch of different firearms, so he wanted to take me to an indoor range so I could try shooting properly. I don't have much experience with guns, but with his guidance I actually had a great time. The staff here were very friendly and professional. Before we started, they went over their policies and safety procedures thoroughly, which I really appreciated. As someone who's not a regular shooter, it made me feel a lot more comfortable. The range itself was clean, organized, and well run. Overall, it was a solid experience and a great place whether you're experienced or just trying shooting for the first time.

For $25 each, you get the use of the range, 2 targets, eye and ear protection rental, and they have a lounge with fountain sodas that you can hang out in after. There were a few MAGA shirts for sale, but as a bleeding heart liberal woman, I felt perfectly safe there. Since my gun was brand new and I haven't been shooting in about 20 years, my brother set up some target stickers on the side of one of the targets to ensure it was dialed in. After a few rounds, the RSO came by and questioned what we were doing. For some reason, this range uses a picture-frame style cardboard backing. Someone actually took the time to cut out the center of the cardboard. He was somewhat polite until he started complaining that we were shooting "his" cardboard frame and needed to stop. It's literally a piece of cardboard that was already riddled with holes. There was no explanation, other than the frame was his and we weren't allowed. My brother was a marksmanship instructor in the Marines for years and we could not come up with any valid reason. Other than that, we had a great time.
