This park is beautiful! They have a mini pond in the middle of the park. It's always nice seeing water in the desert. The park also has a pickleball court, exercise area with items you can use to workout, swings, slides, and lots of area where you can run or walk. The park is super clean and there's lots of parking around the area. I will definitely be back!

"It All Starts Here" at the Master-planned community of Cadence in Henderson!

It All Starts Here!! You can't miss the life-sized map marker at this park. The master-planned community of Cadence just completed phase 2 of their "Central Park", which boasts a man-made lake, an expansive picnic area with real turf, winding walking trails, a community swimming pool, a playground complete with slides, and more. I just love this residential area. I visit often because a relative of mine has been in this community for a year now. She keeps telling me to move here!! I would love to be able to walk to this park everyday with my fur girls. We shall see what the new year brings!!

Cadence park is located in the heart of a new masterplanned community "Cadence" situated between Lake Las Vegas and old Henderson. Autumn in the park festival was held to bring new homeowners of the community and Henderson residents together for family fun activities. The park itself boasts slides of all heights and sizes, rope climbing, and fields of grassy open spaces. There are two tennis courts and a scenic view of the entire Strip. This isn't your typical park- a must see if you are in the area or plan travel here...give yourself at least 2hrs. to explore!

This is one of the cleanest parks my children have played on. It's located in a great area, it's newer and kid friendly for all ages.

We get these feelings of uncertainty and anxiety; it how we deal with this self battle that we come out stronger from. I have always been able to overcome anxiety by just being close to a tree, or breathing in fresh air . We were not meant to be penned up inside a building all day long with fake air. We need to breathe. Hence the reason we escape to the park. Living in an urban jungle where everything around us is covered in concrete is disturbing. We have to keep our calm be collective. When I'm doing the day to day movements of work, the mundane plain that we coexist in an air of chaos sets in . One can call this chitter chatter of fear or anxiety but just going outside enlightenment happens almost immediately. Take a brisk walk, breathe in and out. These things can lower your blood pressure, stress, and inspire your inner greatness to grow. Let's go to the park . How many mornings do we take the time to walk and get in touch with nature. If you have not done this recently make time. A brisk walk would do you good. You can spent time alone or with those close to you. Get out and ride a bike or walk . Are you looking for your best self? Have you gotten lost recently and distracted? Do you need to soar high above the clouds? You can get in touch with your inner self with that trip to the park . Are you brave enough to go down the slide? Cross the monkey bars again? Do you remember how to swing? Push back higher and higher . See you are doing it . Release and relax your inner child is in control now. Let your thoughts flow. After playing, now how do you feel!

I do enjoy the bike lane when I'm walking my beagle where there's less people. When you walk pass the bike lane make it all the way up passing apartment complexes it connects to the bigger road to gas station and way back to my neighborhood street. I get my good steps in for the day when I make the full circle from the park then pass the apartment complexes and make my way back to my place by pacing myself. Just make sure to do the run during day time now that it gets darker fast in the winter afternoon.
