    Park hours and rules

Been to this park now twice, and every time I visit here there's something interesting going here. As my friend, and I started walking around the trail we noticed a huge tent from afar. As we proceeded to get closer it was a show being held in the huge open field . There happened to be a plethora of people walking swiftly towards the tent this night. I do know that this is the park to be at whenever you're looking for an Awesome view and just looking to get a nice walk or run in. This park, and the Park on Craig Rd. stand out for me. Even if the Geese happen to christen the sidewalks regularly lol. I put into consideration that this was there habitat before me.

Cornerstone Park in Henderson is a nice park with scenic views, walking trail, basketball court, picnic tables, picnic areas, public restrooms, lake, large grass area, a place for Farmers Markets, good for picnics, gatherings and a good park day. We've been here many times for events, farmers markets, for a nice stroll around the park and bike rides. We like this park a lot. When you're in the area stop by and check it out.

A very nice community park offering many desirable attractions including such things as: parking, walking trails, basketball courts, fitness workout area, restroom facility, kids play area, picnic areas, and a man-made water feature that attracts birds, ducks, geese, and even seagulls! There was a small farmer's market in the parking lot when we visited the park. Surprised to see road runners. Even more surprised to have the roadrunners checking us out while we were walking by. They got rather close too; about 10 feet away. Seagulls flying around too.

Oh Cornerstone, a special place in my heart you hold. As a runner in Vegas it's hard to find somewhere flat to do intervals, threshold, etc. and while the loop isn't necessarily flat, it makes for a great running location. This is largely due to the giant body of water that includes various bird species year round. The trail around the water is well maintained and half of it has a dirt section which is lovely. The staff do a good job of keeping the bathrooms as clean as you can at an outdoor park. There is also basketball ball courts, a fitness center, and volleyball courts next to the bathrooms. Another big plus is that there is virtually no homeless people or trash compared to some of the other parks on the area. This park is also connected by the Union Pacific railroad trail and the Pittman Walsh trail which are bike trails that go for miles! If you're in Vegas for a weekend and wanna keep up with your running I highly recommend you make your way to cornerstone

Nice clean park. Park has plenty of tables just in case you and your family decide to have a picnic.

Amazing park! There is a ton of parking and just the size of the park is huge. There were turtles and ducks in the water to look and enjoy while walking around. The park also has seating and tables if you want to enjoy a nice snack or meal there. If you are walking around the water in the summer there is not really much shade so make sure to bring a ton of water if you are going to walk while it is hot.

Great park to walk around the water or relax in green valley. Currently the Earth's Harmonies Art Installation is on display. Great for birders as well!

Absolutely recommending Cornerstone Park for anyone who wants to get more steps done in their life. I definitely enjoy walking around this park, especially during the cooler weather. The park is well taken care of, always clean! The trees and bushes and all plants are trimmed both by the walking path and by the lake. The walking paths, the bathrooms, ballpark, picnic areas and parking areas are well lit at night time. The park is open from 6 am to midnight! There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy here, especially in the weekend when there is a Farmer's Market, or some fun activities such a fundraiser event for a local charity or community event for all ages. Please check their website or a poster calendar for any events or activities!

I got to check out the parks display for Memorial Day to honor our fallen! Love this!! Thank you for remembering what this day is for. Too bad so many have forgotten and take advantage of the freedoms we have in this country! God bless our troops! Thank you is never enough.

This is definitely a great park that takes you out of the normal element of Vegas/Henderson. It has a lovely lake that I actually hope they clean up a bit more, and add some more scenery to. This location definitely has more potential to be an actual paradise. Overall it is a nice place with some solitude to clear your mind and enjoy the day with the ducks that live here, and also the friendly people walking their dogs and getting their workout on...as me and wifey do ourselves. I definitely recommend this park if your looking for a different setup and a change to your walk or just to relax and hang out. God bless

Definitely one of my favorite places in the valley. It's got a beautiful track with a few "trails" that go around it. People are friendly and it's a great place to bring your dog or partner for a nice peaceful walk, in a little bit of kinda nature, in the heart of the burbs.
