Pebble Park is easily one of the tiniest parks that I've ever visited before. There's a small adequate playground area. They have a gazebo and a few places to sit, restrooms and an underwhelming splash pad. It is clean and quiet which is another plus. And if you live in the neighborhood, I guess as far as a visit to the park goes it would suffice. read more

My kids and I have visited many parks through out the years. I'm here weekly for my son's soccer practices. But before that, I've only came here maybe 2-3 times. This isn't my favorite park on this side of town and let me explain why. 1. The park is older, which means the playground equipment is older as well. It's also a little small for my liking. 2. The restrooms are gross and smelly. I make it a point for my kids to use the bathroom at home beforehand, even if they don't have to go. 3. The grassy area where they have soccer practice is a short walk from the playground. You have to take a walkway which goes through a ditch surrounded by large rocks. There is no railing around this walkway. This is super dangerous as I see kids running or on scooters. God forbid someone falls and hits their head on the rocks. 4. I've seen homeless people perched around the park. 5. Parking sucks. There's a small lot with maybe 4 spots. So you are made to park in the street. And on the days we have soccer practice, street parking gets full since there are other teams there as well. So we have to park at the church across the street. Let me list off some positives so it doesn't look like I'm a Debby downer. 1. The grassy area is large and well maintained. I can see why teams choose to have practices here. 2. There's a small splash pad for the kids to cool down after playing. 3. It's pretty well lit in the evenings. I'm here often. Say hi if you see me. read more

The park is decent but I have an issue with the safety in the playground. It makes zero sense why there are gaping openings at the highest points on the playground which are about 8 feet in the air- huge height for a child to fall from. read more

If you have a dog or child, or just act like one, this park is for you! There is a play set, restrooms, some picnic tables and an open field that dogs can run amuck! Today were actually a bunch of better behaved dogs than children, haha! There is a lot of memorial trees and decorations. Gardens are kept trimmed and clean. Street parking. read more

This is an OK park with a small playground. My kids had fun playing on the one small jungle gym structure, which had slides and monkey bars and things to walk under. There is also a splash pad just steps away from the playground, but because we visited during the winter, the splash pad was not on. It gets cold in the winter in the desert! Many people think that the desert is just always hot, but that's not true. So if you didn't know, now you know. I saw a lot of people walking their dogs, so I'm thinking this is a good park for doing an activity such as that. It's across the street from an indoor dog park, but there is also an outdoor dog park here. It's basically just a big, open field, but it does the job. This park seemed relatively safe, although we saw some guy who might have been homeless sitting by the bathrooms. But we also saw a few families and couples walking around. This park is located just outside of a neighborhood, so I imagine it's used by lots of people. read more

If you want a playground that is not always crowded, this is the spot. The playground itself is enclosed, which is perfect for little ones. They recently added restrooms in the middle between the splash pad and playground. THANK YOU! That was much needed. There are a few pavilions around to use as well. Across the way is a big open area that many take their dogs to. However, it is not fenced off. There is a wrap-around side walk, good for small walks or kids can ride their bikes and scooters around. The splash pad does need to be upgraded. Some of the padding and water spouts need to be replaced. read more

I like this park for its out of the way location. It doubles as a flood wash and it makes for a layout thats discouraging to sorts teams. The playground is small, so there's never too many kids. Dog trafic is moderate at its busiest times. Good park. read more

Nice sized clean park north of the 215 Freeway in Las Vegas. Pet friendly as they have a long trail and a pedestrian bridge to cross over a rocky wash area. When you get off of exit 7 of Interstate 215, you leave the freeway for Eastern Avenue. Near the freeway it is a major arterial with consistent shopping centers, restaurants, and businesses. All these businesses add up to traffic. The result is that life on Eastern Avenue is often not life in the fast lane but in the slow lane. When developers over built this part of Eastern Avenue, they spared a 7-acre parcel of land at the southeast corner of Eastern Avenue and Pebble Road from asphalt. It is Pebble Park. Driving by Pebble Park often on my commute, it is hard to believe that there is a peaceful place bordering the stop and go traffic of Eastern Avenue. Yesterday, I would spend time in this place. I just left work and was sitting in that long red light where eastbound Pebble Road stopped for Eastern Avenue traffic. Sitting at the light, my eyes were looking toward a magnificent sundown over the nearby Black Mountain. One of my dearest activities is spending time in the open spaces surrounding Las Vegas. Unfortunately I can't get out there the series of days that I work. The sun coming down over Black Mountain is a connection to the open spaces that I cherish. When the long light finally changed to green, I proceeded to the first right which is Topaz Street toward the tiny parking lot. The complaint I have about Pebble Park is that the parking lot only holds three vehicles. The majority of the parking is along Topaz Drive. Pebble Park is rectangular shaped park between Pebble Road and the I-215 soundwall. When you walk into the park, you see a walkway toward a playground. This is a neat playground with tall flower sculpture things. The walkway crosses the Pitman Wash where it divides into an oval walkway through open space of grass bordered by Moon Nursery and Pebble Road up to Eastern Avenue. The walkway includes sufficient lighting. The few people that I saw were spending quality time with their dogs. There have been complaints over people failing to pick up after their dogs. I'll take this nuisance over graffiti. Pebble Park seems to be relatively graffiti free. When a park is graffiti free, it gives me the impression that the criminal shadow is not following me. Another thing that creates an impression that crime is not a major concern is that Moon Nursery has trees for sale alongside the oval trail. If crime is an issue, people would walk into the park to steel these nursery trees. The highlight of the park is the uninterrupted view of Black Mountain. Although Black Mountain is a few miles distant, this view gives it the illusion that it is close by. This is a spectacular location to take in the sundown and sunrise over Black Mountain. It is the westernmost point of the Pitman Wash Trail, the multiuse path that winds through Green Valley toward Cornerstone Park. Continuing onto the Pitman Wash Trail requires crossing four lanes of traffic on Pebble Road. I would like to see Pitman Wash Trail rerouted into the wash through a tunnel beneath Pebble Road that would connect to Pebble Park. Better yet, Pebble Park could be a hub connecting to Cactus Wren Park and the Beltway Bike Trail. If you drew a line directly south across Interstate 215, you would connect to the Cactus Wren Trail and perpendicular Beltway Bike Trail. The Pitman Wash tunnels under Interstate 215 could be expanded to accommodate people. This would improve the quality of life by expanding recreation opportunities and keeping bicyclists and pedestrians away from the major traffic of Eastern in the vicinity of Interstate 215. Sometimes in life it's the little things that are a big deal. On the long days when I work, it is a little thing such as the sun coming down over a mountain that is a big thing. After hours of negatively, watching the sun come down made my day. The thing I really like about Pebble Park is that it creates the illusion that Black Mountain is close up. I think I will see another day end at Pebble Park as the sun goes down over Black Mountain. read more

My favorite thing about this park is that the play structure is completely enclosed, which is great since I have a 2 year old who likes to run off. However, on our most recent visit (03/09/2020), about half the playground is barricaded off and unusable. It was already a small playground to begin with. Knowing that the weather was getting nice and people would be venturing out again, I'm disappointed they haven't fixed this ASAP. read more

Been going to this park for a long while now and have never had any issues. The last 2 times we have visited the park there have been groups of homeless people there. Normally I would have no problem if they weren't doing drugs, taking showers in the splash pad, washing there pets in the splash pad and leaving there belongings around. It makes the park extremely unsafe and uncomfortable. We were approached for cigarettes then told a story about them being accosted at walmart. Then another person showed up on a bike and a fight almost broke out. Very unnerving. Will think twice before I return to this park. Be aware. read more

I think in the daytime this place would be okay. Unfortunately, most of my jobs are day jobs so I don't get to go until later... Dusk/Evening - DO NOT GO. It's downright scary. There's barely any lights and when I visited I'm pretty sure something not-so-legit was going down in the near-pitch black parking lot. I guess if you're with a huge group of people and for some odd reason want to hang out that's cool? But alone - wouldn't suggest. Please put more lights in! read more

First of all, any public park that's well maintained is pretty much as good as it gets. This one has a small splash pad, a playground, and a huge green space. And despite its location on Pebble and Eastern, feels kinda secluded. It's funny that somebody else posted the picture of 'no dogs allowed' in the splash pad because there is pretty much ALWAYS a dog in there! read more

Love. That's all I can say as I am a huge nature buff and self-proclaimed tree hugger. I bike ride, weather permitting, on the weekends and this place is one of my stops. I love the fact that it is small and has a small trail I can ride on along the huge grass field that people use for either soccer practice or mostly to let their dogs run wild. At first visit, you'd think it was a dog park, because it is pretty much dominated by dog owners, but it is a park for all. Once I encountered a homeless guy sleeping on the trail instead of the grass and had to maneuver around him, but that was one occasion. If you're looking to just stroll, or play with the dog, this is a good spot. The trail is small and concrete paved, so it's not for cycling. I only do it as part of my ride and I enjoy the view. read more

Quiet. Very nice change from other parks in the area that are always over crowded. Went at 10:30 with my kids to play on the splash pad and we were the only ones there. Nice natural shade from trees around the ENCLOSED splash pad, as well as the enclosed playground! Big plus for my two year old that likes to run. Kids loved it! So I love it. read more

Large playground for the kids here that is never busy when I come by. They always seem to have plenty of parking so dropping by for a walk is a breeze. It's also within walking distance of my house so sometimes I take the dog out for a walk and head down to the see what's going on. read more
