A cool new place on the block! The atmosphere is a nice modern thai feel. The tomyum soup and spring roll are pretty good. I really enjoyed the coconut cake. Service was attentive and quite good. Two of us shared an appetizer and the slice of cake. Tom Gah soup was flavorful but would have been too plain without the addition of shrimp. I ordered sweet potato Pad Thai. The venue was popular, and a bit overcrowded. Volume at the tables was a bit loud. Without drinks or tip the bill came in just over $40. I'll be back to try the curry, the sticky rice & mango, and of course the coconut cake. read more

I tried this place because it is near my home and I saw good reviews on the food. The food we had was really flavorful! The coconut shrimp had a dipping sauce that was a bit spicy but omg so yummy!!!! The wonton soup had bok choy in it....very good flavor! My daughter ordered the crab fried rice which was cooked to perfection! Definitely have great food but the service was not so great. We sat by the door and people came in that waited forever before someone even acknowledged them. Our waiter said as little as possible and looked unhappy to be there. We had to be looking for him and stopping him so that we could get a drink, the to go boxes and our receipt to pay. It was a busy night but it's all about customer service and being welcoming so that I want to come back. This is our favorite Asian take out restaurant. They have a family friendly menu, and the food tastes fresh. Their online ordering system is easy to use and you can add sides or easily make requests to get the dish they way you like it. Many of the dishes are super spicy, so I often have to ask them to make them less spicy. They are great about honoring those requests and having the orders ready for pick up at the projected time. read more

We've been ordering take out from Green Mango for a few months and think it's ready for a review. Overall the food is consistent and full of flavors, occasionally they would add too much salt or forget to add our requested protein but would make things right if you provide feedback. Our go to entrees are Tom kha soup (large, so I don't need to fight my husband to have some soup), basil fried rice (be careful, it's got a kick), Penang curry (we prefer Penang with other proteins other than beef, their specially Penang beef can sometimes be too salty/chewy for us), and pad kee mao (spicy stir fried noodles). We'd also order side orginial fried rice at a sweet price to feed our toddler and that's normally more than enough for her to eat. We really like Green Mango and will continue to support their business. read more

Friends took me to eat at Green Mango a few nights ago. This was my first visit and I plan to return very often. We ate Pad Thai and Panang Curry along with every appetizer on the menu. Good Thai food ......we ordered pineapple fried rice, green curry and 2 desserts- coconut ice cream and fried banana- all the dishes were very tasty. Green curry as stated in the menu was spicy - but I love spicy food so I loved it. Pineapple fried rice was delicious. The desserts were outstanding. So happy these guys landed up North. Superb Thai cuisine with "Chinese food" options if that's your thing. We crushed the cheese rolls, and honestly the hot & sour soup is unique and knocked my socks off. Red Curry was on point, and available with califlower rice if you're still hanging onto that New Years resolution. Family enjoyed garlic chicken, sesame chicken and the green curry- which is spicy enough to make your eyes water. Great service, reasonable prices. read more

Service and atmosphere were great. I was so pleased to see a good drink selection at a Thai restaurant. Shrimp spring rolls were a hit. The Pad Thai: excellent flavor, but it's so sweet and sugary. So much so that I decided to take a portion home. I really like the place and people, but I'm not accustomed to Thai food that is so incredibly sweet. I was so excited to see a new Thai place in the area and it did not disappoint! The Pad Thai was great as well as the Basil Fried Rice. Also had the Thai Coffee (pictured). The service was excellent and they have a good selection of beer and wine. It was not crowded when we went. Everything was very fresh and reasonably priced. Really baffled on my night and day experiences at this place in the span of 1 week... needless to say I won't be back and they lost two customers tonight which by the look of it is going to hurt them. Went last Friday - got ap and soup and wine it was a lovely experience. Decided we wanted a quick and hot meal after a long day. Walked into restaurant at 7:15 and it was completely dead, not one other single customer was in there, I asked if they were still open. Sat down and immediately placed our order of two apps and two tofu Tom kah soups and the soups took forever to come out and when they did arrive they put chicken instead of tofu, I found the waiter and sent mine back. I never send food back but I'm a vegetarian. Then 15 minutes go by, my soup comes out and it's wrong again, the waiter set it down in front of me, grabbed the spoon, stirred the soup, knew it was wrong then took it back before I even said anything. Another 15 mins go by. Soup comes out, how it should have 30 minutes ago. At this point I was just ready to go home. When he set it down he said he would take it off the bill. Meanwhile,we are still the only ones in the restaurant and I'm not sure why soup is taking so long bc it didn't last Friday. Ticket came. Both soups were on ticket. They didn't comp anything, said he never said he would then offered 10% off soup. Laughable. Terrible customer service, mess up was the kitchens fault. Will prob be closed before their lease is up with this kind of service. Was there for 1.5 hours for a cup of soup. read more

Ordered take out, the food was ready on time and well packed for travel. Got the Massaman Curry and the Basil Eggplant and both dishes delivered great flavor. Not bad at all....truth be told, I think Madam Mam's and Sway (I know, it's fusion not traditional Thai) set the standard for Thai cuisine. Green Mango is on par with Chada Thai in Cedar Park....not bad at all, but not necessarily memorable. For some added context, we ordered the Tom Kha soup, Pad See Ewe and Panang Curry.
