I happened to tumble on to this place. The original meeting place was opening late and I needed a place to meet my friend. So, I saw Green Bliss across the street and decided to walk in. I got a regular latte and a waffle. The workers here do not seem happy. They don't smile, no " how are you today?". A smile goes a long way people. Also, it was my first time here so I was on the side to look at the menu; no people around me nor in line. But the cashier kept asking if I was ready to order. So, I ordered a regular latte and waffle since those were the first things I saw. Later I found out that this place is a vegetarian place. Not a biggie since I have vegetarian friends and I was Pescotarian once. Waffle was crunchy in the outside soft in the inside. Loved the fact that they put the syrup and whipped cream on the side. I haven't tried much of the actual food they serve here, just the avo-campania panini and a salad that I don't remember the name of- but they were both quite good. BUT, I've tried a few of their smoothies and they're sooooo delicious! They're the main reason I keep coming back. The kale and ginger smoothie is really good, tastes really fresh. But my favorite is the oatmeal blast, especially when you add a shot of espresso. You can also get them to go, which I really like doing since I can grab my drink and go to school or wherever. They have limited seating, and have gone to painstaking lengths to make sure they maximize their profit: they designate most of their tables as "food customers only." I met with a friend who ordered lunch and a latte, and I ordered an iced latte. I was surprised to find out that they only give you 60 minutes of internet (even as a paying customer). After that, there's nothing they can do for you. Moral of the story: come here for lunch & a conversation. Don't expect to be able to get any work done. It seems like they should just go the way of Kean Coffee and cut out internet all together, that way they are true to what they are offering. Just got done having lunch here and I must say I LOVE IT!!!!! I was a bit lost and had trouble finding it so I called and they helped me and were so sweet and did not make me feel stupid for not being able to find it! Once I arrived I was greeted and made to feel welcomed I literally wanted to order everything they have so many amazing vegan options! The only reason this place doesn't get 5 stars is because they need MORE selection of deliciousness. Decided to stop here with my friend before we went to go get our nails done. We are in the Downtown Fullerton area pretty often and after visiting tranquil tea lounge and rialto a couple times I started to notice this place. So onto my Yelp bookmarks it goes! It's a cute little place. Indoor seating is awesome with modern furniture. The outside patio in the back is so cute, looks like a great place to study. Even the few tables in front of the restaurant looked relaxing. First, you order off an iPad. I love that, anywhere that does that I love you. I ordered the Grilled Cheese which comes with salad, and a peach blossom iced tea. My friend got the Avo-Campania which has a salad as well, and a jasmine iced tea. This was a very nice cafe for a Sunday breakfast. I loved all their vegan options, and if you come with people who eat animal carcass there are choices for them too. I got the vegan crepes which I very much enjoyed! They were probably the most hearty crepes I've ever had! My husband got the special which was a vegan "arepas" (?) with vegan cheese and soy chorizo, also with a side of avocado toast. All tasted amazing and were fresh! My parents meals looked great and they really enjoyed it, and they're not usually big on the healthy eateries we drag them to. My one complaint is that everything could have been warmer in temperature and a little faster on the delivery. Understandable I suppose with fresh meals made with care. This place has gone down in customer service and quality since it's early days. I spent almost six dollars on a mocha that was poorly made. On top of that, the barista forgot about my drink and left it open on a counter as they helped other customers. It wasn't until another barista asked who it was for that I got my drink. I am usually very kind and understanding because I know how difficult customer service is, but I was dumbfounded and left quietly, throwing away my drink outside. Classic Grilled Cheese Panini w/ Small Salad - this was a simple grilled cheese with aged organic white cheddar cheese, on flax bread. Nothing too special. Overall yummy but I don't think I'd order it again. It was a little too plain for me. Tommy's Special Flatbread - it's pretty much like a mini pizza with 4 small slices. The dough was perfectly soft and chewy. It came with mushroom, tomato, red onion, garlic, artichoke, pesto, goat cheese, thyme, and parsley. So there was definitely a lot going on, but all the flavors were balanced well together and it wasn't overpowering at all. This was my fave dish of the 3 we ordered. We also shared a small strawberry vegan cupcake which was more like a muffin. The strawberry frosting was light which I liked, and there were these crystalline bits in it that were interesting. Overall not bad for a vegan dessert. I also tried their iced peach blossom tea which was light and refreshing. We were very hungry, and when our food was finally in front of us it was evident that we shouldn't have to have waited so long. The taste of our food weren't that great either. First timer at this adorable cafe with my mom and gramma! Parking was easy because we arrived there at 10:30am. We parked right across from the cafe on the street (2 hour limit). We were greeted once we walked in. The interior of this cafe is so adorable and I just love how their menu is set up on a chalkboard. We ordered our food. They have a few seats inside for a good amount of people but we ended up sitting outside because the weather was nice! We ordered: Mushroom Bread Pudding $8.75- This came with a side of fruit (apples, strawberries, blueberries). It was okay. My gramma enjoyed it, though. Cappuccino $3.25- Perfection! Not sure if the management has changed or what has caused the food quality to drop. The lady that helped us didn't seem very friendly or accommodating to me in trying to change ingredients to their burrito to make it vegan friendly. I had not experienced so much resistance until this time about the changes I made. Once I got my burrito, it's size of ingredients had cut in half which was astonishing to me. Not only was there a possibility there could have been dairy in the burrito which I've tried to avoid, but the mere size of the burrito and other missing ingredients that shouldn't have been missing made me feel disappointed. The 'local' and 'homey' café feeling this place had was very refreshing from the thousands of commercial cafés that I had been to. Was in fullerton and was looking for a breakfast place. This place came up so we decided to try it. Its a little hard to find as it was inside a building. We ordered food and i had to repeat my order to the cashier as he kept getting my order wrong. Our food took a good 15-20 min to come and when we got our order the cashier still got our order wrong and had to send our dish back to get it remade. That took another 15-20 minutes at which point all our table was done eating. By the time the last correct dish was brought, we were all done eating and very over this place.
