We stopped in here after a graduation ceremony at Ball State thinking we could get a quick lunch. The place was not crowded when we arrived so we thought we could eat quickly and get on the road to go home. Wrong!! The service was extremely slow as there was only one server for the whole place. It took forever to give our order for pizzas. And it took forever to get our food as well. The pizzas were good not great but, definitely not worth the almost 2 hour long wait. This is not someplace we'll ever return.

We stopped in for dinner tonight, daughter had a cheese and black olive pizza she was very happy with it, son had the Raphael's BBQ pizza and bragged about it. Wife had the Hawaiin bbq pizza and it was ok nothing special about standard Hawaiin pizza. I had the premium pasta and it was very good.

The food here is exactly like the Greeks in the Village. This is a nice space with lots of Muncie memorabilia on the walls--also some video games (though could use a better selection. There is lots of light and a tv. Would be a good alternative to b-dubs if you want good pizza. The red checkers everywhere gives a classic pizza joint ambience. I am a fan of the pizza--particularly the crust. Though I think that the sauce is a bit sweet. The spiciness of the sausage makes up for it though.

Great pizza, good service. The crust was delicious and the toppings very generous. Clean and well cared for. Will definitely be going back.

Now, I could probably never eat another toasted ravioli for the rest of my life and I'd be perfectly fine, but I had to try them. Not bad! I've had toasted ravioli in St. Louis, which is the supposed birthplace of the food, and these would rival any in the Gateway City. I didn't just want to sit at the bar and stuff my face full of cheese and pasta. So I ordered a pizza, so that I could also stuff my face full of cheese and bread. The pizzas here are sized for an individual to enjoy, but they could also be a nice little sharable snack between two people. I got the Bill the Butcher, which is a meat-forward pie with beer-infused pizza sauce, cheese, pepperoni, bacon, chicken, sausage, ham and steak. It's a lotta meat! But it was delicious. All of the pizzas have interesting names and even more interesting ingredients, and now I'm kind of wishing I had ordered the Crust Punk Deluxe. Maybe next time! I feel like I missed an opportunity by not getting any of the beer here. But I did buy a pub glass to take home with me. I just wasn't feeling like beer when I visited, but the next time I'm in Muncie, I will definitely stop by for some beer. The service here is very accommodating and friendly. I wanted for nothing, but also, the guy manning the bar was very chill and knew when to hang back.

Ok I used to live in Muncie for 14 years growing up so I use to go to this same place back in the…read more80's and was back in town and wanted to get some pizza king pizza so me and my family stopped in on a Saturday. The service was good friendly and efficient. We ordered a large royal feast, which if you want the best pizza they offer this is a good choice. Otherwise they will offer all the regular options of toppings. In particular they have excellent sausage. This is the real crumbled sausage they use and they chop all the toppings into diced squares ie pepperoni isn't going to be on top in the slices, it will be in a diced topping. This in my opinion helps provide a uniformity of coverage and taste you don't get by other methods. Next the crust, this location has great pizza king crust. The crust is light thin but still airy not doughy, the ovens use a conveyor belt so each pizza gets the right amount of time and comes out as good as the next one. The sauce is great as well but if you like a lot ask for extra as the coating they normally provide might not be enough for you liking. We also got a medium cheese pizza and two orders of bread sticks for dinner. The pizza may take a bit longer to come out but that may be due to the carryout / delivery pizzas being made in the oven. They are usually as quick as they can be in making these but the disadvantage of the convey cooker is there is a finite amount of pizzas it can make in a set amount of time. Amazingly the interior while well kept is almost the same as I remember when I was here back in the 80's. They have the same lights over the tables. It is still in pretty good shape. They don't have the Pac-Man machine here anymore though. Expect to pay a bit more than other places as Pizza King is going to be a bit more expensive than other places but the taste is worth it.

It won't get busy. The ambiance is like a mom and pop place. Very old fashion and outdated. The food was good. We got the bbq pizza with all the meat. I love the square pieces. So much easier to eat. They definitely give you a lot of meat on your pizza. The spaghetti is okay. Not very well seasoned.

Eventually she got off and sat us down at one of the tables in the bar area. I noticed all the wait staff were crowded around next to it where the kitchen meets the bar, and just chatting. I found it odd considering there's only one hostess and then there's all of these waitstaff just mingling about. But, being short staff is typical these days so I suppose that's probably how it is there. That's probably why the bartender was the one who waited on us as well. She was quite nice, and definitely knew how to make a good drink. I could hardly taste the alcohol in both. The first one I got was a lemonade type if I remember correctly, It was quite refreshing. The second drink I ordered was a blackberry margarita, which was honestly not good. I'm not big on sour, and it was pucker your lips and just drink it quick type sour for me. The rim had salt, and although I'm not a big salt rim person, that was probably my favorite part besides the actual blackberry floating in it. If you like sour you'd probably love it, but personally it was not for me. As far as food goes, we ordered the hummus appetizer to start. It came out fairly quick, and damn it was good. The fried pita bread with flakes of salt on top were our favorites. I could eat a whole big bowl of that alone if I could. When we almost were done with that, our food came out. My friend had ordered their crispy chicken in the dill pickle hot style, and both him and I were surprised at the amount of fries that came with. It was like fries with a side of chicken sandwich. He gave me a bite of his sandwich, and we both agreed it wasn't spicy or dill-y enough. The fries were honestly my favorite part out of all the food. They were so crisp and kept their warmth pretty well. They were also dusted in cinnamon sugar, which just made them 1000% better. Sometimes at other places you get them and they can be soggy or not have anything on them. They make them the right way here! For my meal, I got the drunken dory, I was debating on that or the blackened salmon salad, but figured why not go with some fries. Seeing how much fries my friend got vs myself, I was a little disappointed, but in the end he ended up stuffed whereas I had just enough. I really liked the plating on this, putting the fish on top of the fries so as the outside stays crispy on the fish. It did work, and overall was very nice. Could've used a bit of salt, and came out very hot though. All the food retained its heat very well. Their tartar sauce was also quite good, and as you can expect the coleslaw was nothing to write home about. I would definitely come back here again, probably try more of their apps and beers, I definitely like it better than some of the breweries over where I live in Virginia, so if you haven't tried it I highly recommend you do!
