This place has amazing food. Portions are huge for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Do not believe the bad reviews. Try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed. I go once a week. It's that good. read more

Food was average their Monte Cristo tasted like ham and cheese on French toast. Turkey club was food but over price. Kids shrimp was the best deal. Restaurant was clean and the people working were nice. I would eat here again read more

I find it odd there haven't been more negative reviews. I've been eating here for a while, both ordered from them and ate in. Everytime I get my food there is something wrong with it that ruins the while thing, whether that be soaked buns, too much sauce, or bland taste. I cook a lot, and there's so many things they could do to improve the meal but they don't know how. Anyways I end my rant with why I became so angry with them today. I ordered through Uber eats to get a veggie omelette and some fruit. It arrived 30 minutes later than expected (50min total), by fault of the restaurant because the driver got here in ten minutes. It was all cold, not even warm, and bland. The eggs we're dry. All, and I mean all, of my fruit was bruised and gross. Listen, I'm not a picky eater but I know 10 year old that have made better omelettes. Take it from someone who has wasted money here too many times, go to Gunther Toody's if you want good 50's atmosphere and great food. The two thing Great Scott's has is good atmosphere and water. Edit: I should add that taste isn't the biggest issue. I believe my biggest issue is they don't care for the people who order with Uber. It's a real kick in the rear when you pay 20 bucks for a sloppy burger and small amount of fries when it takes about an hour to get here. Should I be punished for using Uber? read more

Great Scotts Eatery - Here's all I could eat. It was as bland and mushy as it looks. - Diners Near Me - Denver, Colorado

By the way I saw a picture of your Thanksgiving meal it looked delicious and so yummy!!! Thinking of going there next year and avoid the rush! read more

I usually love great scots I live a few hours away and normally make this a go to spot while I'm in town. Today was just terrible service ( I walked out) picture this the manager and two other servers not ten feet from us. We waited 10 minutes no one stopped by the table to even get drink orders. The manager finally noticed us after she was done playing with a toddler to see if we been helped. I lost it and said no and walked out. The manager didn't even seem sorry. Also 8 should not our Server was Brandi I dont think we saw her at all however i did see like six other servers. read more

I love the atmosphere here...the food was sub-Sonic in quality though, and that's a bit of a bummer. The Elvis-rita was a solid drink, though :) read more

Very, very good local place. Good for breakfast or lunch. Very big menu with many options. Nice waitress with very good opinions on food.

Great but forgot all utensils. Was greeted by teenagers who were joking around. Ordered to go and was ready to eat, forgot fork, napkins, syrup just everything in general. Was really excited to eat here but now I'm going to think twice of where to go. Bunch of kids read more

Unbelievable food and good prices. Burgers, sandwiches, apps and deserts are all fire! Will make this a regular destination fro here on out. read more

Great Scott's has friendly staff, they will check on you after you receive your food. Their breakfast burritos are very large portions. We've eaten at both places. I was very happy to see the same staff. Cindy Barry read more

Great atmosphere if you like the ole 50's diner theme. For the most part, the food is good. But just good and certainly not fantastic. Best thing they serve are their hash browns for breakfast. I wish this place would make more things homemade though. Homemade food such as the country gravy. The gravy they serve now is the same as you would get at Village Inn. They have mexican food, but the green chile is nothing to get excited about. Stick to the diner classics and it will be good. read more

I've just enjoyed Great Scott's Eatery for the first time. I first sampled the skillet cinnamon roll, which was delish. Had the breakfast burrito with 50/50 green chili. Basically, the burrito was perfect. Great atmosphere for a dinner...staff was friendly and attentive. Will return soon. read more

Ordered a tenderloin sandwich on DoorDash. Made sure to select if food not available to call and not to pick a substitution. Instead they send me a chicken fried steak. Only get refund for the food still had to pay tip and delivery fee for food I did not order. Won't order from this restaurant again. read more

We had a large party and they were able to easily accommodate for a late morning breakfast. The waitress was very busy and amazingly didn't write anything down and did a very good job of getting everything right. read more

Well, after speaking to Melissa after my last review, I promised I would give them another try. A group of 6 went for our monthly meeting. It was unanimous, the breakfasts at Great Scotts is far from great. Unfortunately, it was worse than last time. I had the Chile Rellenos breakfast with scrambled eggs. The chiles were watery and tasteless, the egg roll wrap was undercooked and gooey (I am guessing from the excess water in the chile). The scrambled eggs were brown. Eggs should never be brown, NEVER. My eggs were not the only eggs that were burned like that. The hash browns were crispy on the top and bottom, but tasteless and mushy in the middle. The manager came over (she did not introduce herself, so I am not sure if it was Melissa) and asked: "don't you like Rellenos?" My reply should have been: Guess what, I would not have ordered them if I did not like them. But my reply was more polite and I just said, "I do not like them the way you serve them". She then took the plate and walked away. When it is just me bitching that's one thing, but all 6 of us thought the food was horrible, gives one pause, doesn't it. GSE can claim fresh ingredients and expectations of excellent customer experiences, but I have had plenty of 'frozen, throw it on the plate and serve it meals' that outshine GSE every time. The manager did not seem that concerned with our "customer experience". Sorry guys, that was weak. We will not be back. read more

Great little diner. Our server was very nice and helpful.. the menu has just about everything on it. Go on a Monday to take advantage of their burger specials. All are $6.99. I recommend their onion rings too. read more

New Location! New Location! New Location! The new location of Great Scotts Eatery, is about 1 block east of their previous location. This new location seems to be larger, at least I think it is. It is nice! Clean interior, more tables, and more room to move around them. Their previous location seemed, rather was, very tightly packed, and difficult to move around. The menu is still large, with something for everyone. If you can't find something to eat here, then I really don't know what to say. The service is very good. Your coffee cup is always full, as well as your water glass. The parking is easy, with a large lot. Prices are good too. Yes, we are a fan, and we will be back. read more

i'm so excited about this place good beyond burgers and curly fries yum :) love a good diner mm chefs kiss

Not sure why so many bad reviews.... This is honestly one of my favorite places to grab a good hearty breakfast. I've never had bad service or bad food here. There has been only one time where we had to wait a sort of long time for our food but it was also a pretty busy evening so it was understandable. My favorite thing to get is the jalapeno bacon. SO good. Also, the angel food cake French toast is amazing. I'd come everyday if it wasn't so far from Longmont. Also, I love that breakfast is all day! Side note- I never went to the original location up the street so I can't compare. read more

This place is fine if you're looking for some diner food between 1am - 6am when everything else is closed (perhaps after a few too many drinks). Pretty standard fare, but nothing special. Stick to classics like eggs and bacon and you'll be happy. Good atmosphere and service. read more

I've passed this place for 20 years and never stopped in but wasn't disappointed at all. I love the look and feel of traditional diners and you can tell this one has been renovated. The waitress was very fast and constantly checked on us. Short wait for the weekend. Breakfast burrito and cinnamon oat rolled French toast was great. Will definitely stop by again. read more

Pretty good place north of denver. Big portions. I ordered the biscuits and gravy which was hearty and had a delicious gravy. Friendly staff and fast service. Not sure where the other negative reviews stem from cause it was fine for me read more

Garbage. All frozen food all microwaved and no seasons. Get drunk before you go because that is the only way you can eat that trash

Food is pretty good but was better last time I went for a birthday party. Like the decorations tho

Online they say they are open 24 hours. This was not the case we drove up there. Call first so not to waste your time.

I've been there for breakfast and lunch. It was all rather tasty. Everything was cooked properly to order, namely the eggs. I'm very picky about my eggs. The bacon was tasty which can easily be messed up. It's a perfect crunchiness. Overall it was a really nice diner that I would return to. read more

This was our first time here. One of the best benefits of Great Scotts is that they are 24 hours. This place seems newly remodled. The music is great and it's very clean. The menu is huge and the prices are very fair. We had the chicken sandwich and the eggs benedict. The food was typical diner food, nothing to fancy. Air think once you have had Snooze, everything's else falls short. The service was great. This is a much better alternative to the Denver Diner. The food and prices are better. read more

terrible service for a half empty restaurant. soup came after the main meal. no water and no extra napkins. took forever to get a simple order . food was good . we will never come back instead we will go to the Great Scotts in Broomfield. Love love this place! Staff has always been kind and excellent service. Even at 2am after the bars close and the drunks start coming in, the staff is always professional and nice. The food is great, never had a complaint. There green chili is good. It's right off of US36 and Pecos so it's an easy stop to meet up or grab a bite before heading to Boulder or heading to Denver/the plains. read more

Call it a weighted scale, but in my humble opinion 4 stars is the highest a diner can receive. Nevertheless, if you are looking for a solid diner that serves food 24/7, this is the spot. Diner decor, diner menu items, and diner music exuberates from every corner. My one and only experience was met with courteous service and hot food. I ordered the chicharron breakfast burrito because why limit yourself to bacon and sausage for pork fat in your breakfast; It was pretty tasty. It looks like they have a decent selection of adult beverages as well but I'll have to come back another day for those. read more

Colten was a horrible waiter. We ordered onion rings with our meal and he forgot that. As we were eating he asked us lift our feet so he could sweep underneath our table. I ordered a banana split and he forgot to ask what flavors. He didn't even know that they had pineapple toppings. Took him 20 minutes to get our to go boxes. Also, when checking out he stops and starts talking to some other customers. There were also multiple flies and a dead fly on top of the counter near our seat. read more

*edit Messlia (GM) reached out to find out what happened. I told her what went on during our visit and she seemed very concerned about the whole visit. Thank you for reaching out. We will give you another go around! First off the food was good. Second the service not so good! They served the people who got here after us and it took 45 minutes to get our food. When we finally got our food they brought all but my youngest kids food. I don't think we will be coming back! read more

The Hang 10 burger was AMAZING. It's definitely I like any burger I've ever had before. The AM Burger is breakfast all in one and is so unique. I visited from Nevada and I really wish they'd open a location here. If I ever go back to Denver to visit I'll 100% come back! read more
