We then went online, saw that reservations were available, made one, and came back. Instead of simply welcoming us back, the hostess immediately gave us attitude. We politely asked whether we could be seated at a table with a view and were told no because that table was supposedly reserved for a larger party. Shortly afterward, we watched a party of two being seated there. We then asked about sitting outside and were told there were no tables available, only to watch other guests who were going to be seated inside get moved outside. At that point, we asked to speak with the manager, expecting the situation to be handled professionally. Instead, the manager was even more dismissive and told us essentially, to either take the table they were offering us or leave. I have genuinely never been treated this way at a restaurant. The issue wasn't simply where we were seated, it was the dismissive, disrespectful attitude from the moment we arrived. That's the spot. Underneath the canopy of trees there sits a long wooden bar. The vibe that day was ideal with the sunlight cutting through the leaves. I got their pilsner and it was the best beer of the trip. An excellent subtle tasty golden beverage. We moved on shortly after to the next spot but I had to agree that Idletyme was the spot.
