Tuna Nachos

Sat outside, great place within this small town, another gem worth going to! Team was very friendly and food was great and fresh. Stayed with seafood as you kinda have to in this area. Got the Tuna nachos, Oysters and Lobster rolls. All amazing and no regrets, worth making a trip here

The food is great. I am very impressed by its fried duck leg. It is the place I will definitely go again.

Service was fantastic. Peanut butter dessert was delicious and the filet was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Above and beyond service (Danielle) and absolutely amazing food in a lovely atmosphere. We sat outside and it was beautiful. Thank you!

Wow! What a wonderful experience! By God's grace we got in without a reservation and we were so thankful. Seth was a great waiter and recommended delicious meals. We had the butternut squash soup, harvest salad (so fresh!), mushroom ravioli and a filet. And to top it off, PB chocolate pie made in-house with a scoop of PB choc ice cream. Truly the best dessert ever. The ambience was so great and it felt cozy like we were in the movie The Holiday.

Located off Main Street. One flight of stairs to get down into restaurant so not sure if wheelchair accessible. Food is excellent as well as a full bar with great drinks. We started with mussels and for our entrees we had the pear gorgonzola salad with the venison steak. Wow the venison was pistachio crusted and melted in your mouth. We ended with a dessert that was a pastry filled with ice cream and drizzled with chocolate sauce. Everything was 5/5! I will definitely return.

Harrison's offers some unique, tasty eats! My boo started off with the blue cheese martini (he liked the zing of the blue cheese) and then followed that with the maple Manhattan (a little too sweet). - Soup of the day, wild rice and beef: it was hearty, but ok. - Mediterranean calamari: perfectly cooked and delicious. We really enjoyed it sautéed versus the usual fried calamari you'd get elsewhere. - Piatachio encrusted venison. So tender! I made the perfect bite with a little bit of mashed potato, venison, blue cheese and cherry demi glacé! The veggies were also a good sized portion and tasty. Bread and butter on request, which was delicious by itself, and we asked for more to sop up all that delicious sauce from the Mediterranean calamari! Reservations are a must! The restaurant is small and cozy. Last minute, my coworkers wanted to join and unfortunately they could only increase our party size from 2 to 4 (we needed 6-7). Appreciate them trying, but the two of us kept our original reservation and glad we did!* -------------------- *Is it bad we didn't give up our reservation to go with them elsewhere?...Yah, we might've been a-holes.

We ate here for our anniversary.. it was definitely an amazing place for a romantic meal great for any special occasion. A little on the pricey side but definitely worth the money. My husband said it was the best steak he has ever had in his life. The cook of the meat, the quality, the flavors, he said if was the perfect steak. I had the grilled chicken with asparagus. The chicken almost had a beautiful cream sauce over it it was a very nice touch to elevate the chicken. The place also had the most beautiful decor!!

Great dinner tonight at Harrisons. Many drink options including beers on tap and a menu with enough variety to satisfy everyone. The pistachio crusted venison and pumpkin gnocchi were very good tonight and the frozen mocha cheesecake with oreo crust was excellent as always. It goes without saying due to location, size and limited hours that reservations are needed well in advance.

Mussels

Once again absolutely phenomenal. I got the burrata caprese and then the mussels. She got Caesar salad and then the coconut shrimp curry (sorry no pics of that).

Food was OK. Prices were outrageous. I'm glad we had the experience, but I probably would not go back to Harrison's.

Is this restaurant handicapped accessible?

No, it is not. The restaurant is in the basement of the building it is in and requires descending a steep flight of stairs.

Key lime pie or Frozen mocha cheesecake?

I tried the key lime pie and it was delicious

Located in the Courtyard (Marriott) Hotel, only a stone's throw from Lake Champlain and close to the center of Burlington, VT, the restaurant sits just off the lobby. I made a dinner reservation and we was seated by the window with a view of the park with the lake beyond. Off to a good start. My Dirty Martini was spot-on. The perfect balance of Tito's and brine. Only missing the 'bleu' cheese olives. I often order a second appetizer as my entree. My starter was carpaccio that was outstanding. The microgreens were a nice touch. The mussels (appetizer) that I chose for my main course were small in size but ample in portion and were the perfect choice for me. My husband chose the cheese platter for his starter. It was disappointing. Two slices of bleu cheese. Should have been three different ones for $15. And no VT cheddar? Not much imagination here. His Steak Frites was OK; the quality of the beef could have been better. We shared the spinach watermelon salad which was fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, we liked this restaurant and will return.

My sister ordered a gin hibiscus drink that was complex in flavor yet still felt light. The space is small but cozy, and the subtle ocean theme is really nice. The service we received was exceptional. The cooks and bartender were very personable and answered our questions thoroughly and with ease. Since it was a slow day, the cook even prepared us an extra little dish (that was delicious by the way). The owner catches a lot of the fish they serve, so it is the freshest you will get in the valley. Their menu changes frequently, so some things you see online may not be available. We ordered several dishes to share: the smashed cucumbers, the tuna tataki, the inari nigiri, and the dry fried shiitake. You can tell the food is good because I forgot to take pictures before we started eating. The cucumbers were very flavorful and had the numbing heat associated with Szechuan cuisine. The tuna tataki had a perfect sear on it. The inari is hard to mess up but was still very good! The highlight dish for me was certainly the dry fried shiitake. It was very flavorful with some heat to it and tasted smoky as it was cooked with bacon. The rice portion was a good size so as not to drown out the mushrooms. We left full and happy. One thing to note- the spicy yellowtail roll is actually spicy, so if you can't handle your spice you should opt for something else. My family has lived in the valley for more than 20 years and my mom says this is the best restaurant in the valley right now. We will certainly be back and will be telling our friends about it.

I'll definitely come back here.

She and Patrick have a seamless kitchen and was very interesting to watch. My husbands filet was perfect and the pork tenderloin was juicy and paired exceptionally well with the sweet potato hash. I had the chorizo pasta and the flavor was delicious. Desserts were perfect and the cookie at the end made for a great late night treat. Part of our reason for a return visit was the outstanding service provided to us by Molly. We felt double spoiled by having her be our server for dinner. The setting was delightful. Both times we got a great table by the window with fabulous views of the harbor and Lake Champlain. The vibe is relaxed, warm, and charming. No frills. The focus is on the food and the view. The food was really good. For lunch we shared a lobster roll. Now I know that there is a lot of controversy on what makes an "authentic" lobster roll. My take on having them in just about every state from Maine to Florida and and few tasty ones in my inland location. This one tasted good to me - lots of lobster, not too much mayo, fresh soft bun and some nice romaine for some crunch. They made me a lovely Cranberry Mule mocktail to sip on during the meal. For dinner my husband had the Crab Cake and I had the Shrimp Scampi. Both were quite good and the fish tasted fresh. We finished off with a decadent Key Lime Pie. Next time we are in the Burlington area, this will definitely be worth a return visit.

The ambiance is rustic and charming, old time feel and the wood in the fireplace was crackling and giving off an amazing atmosphere and smell! We were seated by a friendly young lady who said it was her first night back from college on winter break, so she didn't know the extra specials they had, but that was A-OK! The waiter finally came and bless his heart, while nice, was a little nervous, uncertain and uncomfortable. We asked if they had sherry or Port--each time, he had to go back and check. We finally got some Porto (after he came back to the table with 2 options / bottles in hand--all things considered, the Port was great). We finally ordered the Truffled Hummus (nothing truffled about it, it looked and tasted like store-bought hummus). We actually knew the taste was not going to be great at all by the bread that first came out - old bread, just heated. And incredibly yeasty dough. Not good. The Seafood Fra Diablo was a joke - it had frozen small shrimp in it and the TINIEST scallops I have ever seen. See the pictures. My husband and I both had the salmon--the entire dish was incredibly oily. Overall for the quality and taste, the place was overpriced too. We skipped the desert and called it a night. 2 Stars because I think the fireplace was amazing and the Port and the clam chowder was really good. (I forgot to mention it earlier, but my friend did think it was delicious.) Will unfortunately not be returning, still--good Port and soup, and all. Edit: my friend who ordered the Fra Diablo dish has been sick since she had this meal. Terrible experience.
