    Chicken tenders
    Jill W.

We loved our lunch here on a sunny Saturday afternoon, sitting by the water felt very relaxing and everyone so friendly! We had fish tacos, which were very tasty but the filling a bit watery so the tortilla got a bit wet too. Still the haddock was really good and the friench fries delicious! We also tried the chicken tenders (huge portion!), chicken caesar wrap (so fresh!) and chips and queso. Gotta love the drink menu also. We had spicy margaritas, daiquiris and a cocktail called a St. Germain which comes with ginger beer and prosecco (and St Germain liqueur). They give you the small prosecco bottle so you can top up your drink, I loved that! Fun place, we look forward to coming back.

Hands down my favorite food and dining experience in Burlington VT. An oasis for amazing food and views, placed right on Lake Champlain. Awesome service on top of that. I really enjoyed their crispy chicken caesar wrap which came with homemade potato chips. Lots of flavor and fresh ingredients. As proper New Englanders-- my grandparents really enjoyed their clam chowder and fish N chips. The seafood was great quality in both dishes. We can't wait to be back soon!

Splash is serving great food and great views on a floating dock at Lake Champlain. My group ordered drinks and dinner. I got a virgin strawberry daiquiri which was delicious. I just ordered chicken tenders and fries because I wasn't feeling very adventurous. The food was delivered only about 5 minutes after we ordered. Everything tasted good and the service was very friendly.

Closes in 17 minutes....but not seating new customers. It's 7:40 pm on the last beautiful evening of summer in Vermont. So disappointed.

Cute little waterfront gem. I got lobster roll. A little pricey for the amount of meat I got. And they don't split checks---really inconvenient. Service was prompt.

The haddock inside the coating was good, but the coating was very greasy. I only ate 3/4 of the single filet.

We were greeted warmly and they said it would be about a 20 minute wait, but we were seated in 15 minutes. 5 mins either way isn't significant to us--it's been 12+ years that we have been kid free, so we have time to spare! Outdoor bar on the deck and Adirondack chairs waiting for us to relax after a 3 hour drive in the country. Soft rock playing in the background add to the ambiance. Lake Champlain never disappoints and the layered mountains on the other side add a serene touch. Update after meal: Served within a reasonable time. Haddock was a single filet, but quite greasy. We also had the fish tacos with corn tortillas. The sauce was "okay", but the contents were generous. The sweet potato fries were too skinny to be fluffy inside. The only item we finished were the two tacos. Two points of good service were that they replaced the regular fries with hot fries when we requested it. And the server shared our feedback on the fish n chips meal with the manager who removed that charge completely. We tipped the server 20% on what the bill would've been because the problem wasn't his fault, but he made good on it. 5 stars for the pre-view experience 3 stars for the food 4 stars for the service Averages to a 4-star review **In summary, the reason to visit this establishment is for the view and the good attitudes.

Stopped by here to snack and have some drinks before the Champlain Dinner train. The cocktails were delicious and the food was really tasty as well. Our server was great. It's a very very casual quick dine in spot.

We took our mom out for her birthday and stopped by this place since it was near the lake and already had great reviews on Yelp. Luckily, since they don't accept reservations, they were able to seat out party of 16 without a long wait. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The view was definitely breathtaking and worthwhile as we were right along the water. As for the food, everything came out right away. It was delicious, the portions were good, and were reasonably priced. Definitely a great spot for seafood and a beautiful view!

The location of this restaurant is awesome. You sit out at the water, and on a beautiful day like I had, there's nothing like it. The service was good, no complaints. The food was okay - simple, kind of fast foodish? I had the fish taco it was good. Husband had the chicken wrap, he thought it was a 7 out of 10, so that's good! I'll bet it's hard to get in during peak hours and season though. We did order drinks, they were okay, nothing unusual. I would stick to beer and wine. Overall I'd go again for sure. It was a nice experience. I'd give it a 3.5 if it was an option.

Food was yum! I'm not usually one for fish, but the haddock Fish Tacos were very good. The staff is super friendly and have great knowledge of the menu. Can't go wrong with the views! The Spirit of Ethan Allen can be spotted as well as the Adirondack Mountains and boats passing by. Great lunch spot, not too heavy of a meal but still fills you up.

Our on board boat meal was cancelled so we lunched here. Menu was nice! Good selection. Settled on the salmon blt and the smoked brisket sandwich. Both were yummy with plenty of protein. Chips were a little salty with a hint of seasoning. Server was nice! Great view outside on the patio.

    Cheers to lake Champlain!

I came here with my sister and mom on a sunny summer afternoon for lunch. It's so nice that every seat has a gorgeous view of Lake Champlain. Additionally, you can watch all the boats come and go as you're eating your food. We all had delicious foods from salads to burgers an even better drinks.

We're here visiting Burlington for the first time. We saw this place on Google maps and my 10 year old immediately said she wanted fish and chips. We walked down around 3:30pm and were welcomed and quickly seated. There was no wait at all. Coming between meals is likely your best bet. I hear this place can get packed. The waiter was quick to get our drinks and app order. The chips and salsa were good. We ordered a salmon BLT (excellent), fish tacos (wife loved them) and a child's fish and chips. I'll be honest, I took a bite and those were some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. The atmosphere here is unmatched. The view of the lake and the fact that you're literally on the dock make you forget your in Burlington VT and feel more like a tropical location. This place was great and we'll be back next time we visit

One came. Fast forward 20 minutes; the remaining two came out. The appetizer dishes were never cleared. They hung around until we decided not to have desert! The appetizers were underwhelming; how can you screw up a Caesar salad? The main courses disappointed in many ways. The dishes were serverd luke warm. Mussels were dehydrated on top of the heap and obvioulsy sat under a heat map. The steaks were cooked well but accompaniments were cold, cool, or barely warm; take your pick none were appetizing. The plates were stone cold which didn't help. Finally after dinner was served and eaten and plates cleared for deserts we did not order the remaining plates and debis were cleared from the table. Deep City was a recommendation for brunch from a local. It is the sister restaurant to Foam Brewers (right next door). When we walked in there was a small wait but not bad. We headed over to the brewery to grab coffee and to check it out. It is definitely a cool spot. They have a huge selection of beer, a small wine program (who knew) and small bites. Unfortunately they did not have TVs or else we would've come back to watch the football game but we did purchase some beer before heading back over for brunch at Deep City. The menu here is a little more Mexican-forward think Huevos Rancheros, but there was still plenty of items that looked appealing. We split the banana bread with maple walnut cream cheese (to die for) to share as an app which was fresh and delicious. I also ordered a fruit cup which was also good. We then shared their Huevos Verdes which is similar to Huevos Rancheros except it came with a tomatillo salsa. It was good but very sloppy to eat. Overall it was a great experience, and service was phenomenal. A great brunch place while visiting Burlington VT.

First of all, they have a parking lot, which is free to park in, which was super convenient. The menu is interesting and everything sounded so good, including the daily features (duck hash, yum)! It made it super difficult to decide what to order, but we eventually settled on the biscuits and herb gravy, the across the pond, a side of the cheesy kale, the polenta breakfast dish, and the trout and eggs. Our server was super patient and kind and the food was amazing. I don't usually like biscuits and gravy that much, but their vegetarian gravy was so tasty. It reminded me a bit of broccoli cheddar soup in the best way, and the biscuits were flaky. I'd had the English breakfast plate at Penny Cluse before, and this one was even better. I loved the mushrooms and the sausage. The cornmeal crusted trout on the trout and eggs plate was crispy and not fishy at all, and the best trout I've ever tried. I loved that everything we ordered was so saucy since I'm a big sauce girl. This place is high on my list to revisit when I'm back in Burlington!

Poco was absolutely as good as the ratings suggest. We had 4 items... Grilled Carrots, Elote fritters, Dan Dan Noodles and wok fried shrimp. The carrots were multi-colored, gorgeous, and surrounded by delicious flavors and accompaniments including a yogurt-based sauce and a spicy chili oil. The Elote fritters were spicy and crispy, served moments after coming out of the fryer and topped with a chipotle blueberry sauce. The Dan Dan noodles were amazing. Typically Dan Dan noodles are made with ground pork but Poco's was made with mushrooms. The noodles were tender and a little thicker than I'm used to but felt freshly made. The flavor overall was savory and umami filled with a gentler heat than other Dan Dan's I've had. This was tied for the very best Dan Dan I've ever had and I try Dan Dan anytime it's on the menu at places I eat at. The wok fried shrimp were not a favorite of any of the 3 of us that had them but they were still quite interesting with a bracingly acidic sauce and crispy rice that had a texture that left me wondering how they did it. We dined on a Tuesday in April and were in a line waiting for them to open. The entire dining room was essentially seated immediately when they opened. Despite this, dishes and drinks started arriving very soon after we ordered and the pacing was great throughout the meal. If you go on a weekend or even a busy summer weekday you should be ready for a substantial line and they don't take reservations. Desert was ice-cream made in house and both the cinnamon and strawberry ice creams were beyond decadent and rich. Anyways we wanted to switch to the bar, told us the bar stools were reserved (how can you reserve a bar stool if you don't accept reservations), then noticed a three top leave as I asked asked to move there as well, he rudely said he had another three top going there and there is no where he could put us, then finally more guest left and I was able to get us a seat at the bar. I was excited to finally change seats and he rudely put his arm out and said "we have to clean it first!!" There are ways you can go about things but he was insanely rude and unprofessional. Then I saw other guest who sat at that uncomfortable table also want to move (that's how shit of a table it was) and then to top it all off this person sat other two tops at three top tables that we were denied because we were a two top.
