Been to foam about 6 times now and I've never had a bad experience. The beers are always cold and delicious, the staff are friendly and not pretentious, the vibe is chill and the snacks are top notch. They have a great parking lot and the lake is right across the street. Hit foam a couple hours before sunset, have a few beers and some charcuterie then head out to the lake for a sunset, you won't be disappointed!! read more

Went to Foam Brewers while in town for a wedding - selected it for its location (right next to the lake - very scenic). I'm not an IPA fan, but my husband is, so he was more excited with the selections than I was. We liked the atmosphere and enjoyed sitting outside on their terrace. The staff was friendly and let me taste a few non-hoppy beers before I selected a rice lager that was good. Appreciated that you could get an 8 oz as well as a 12 oz, and my darlin' hubs liked the one he selected also - a fruited sour. read more

Lots of beer options can be overwhelming so just asked the staff for a certain type of ale or lagers. Mainly IPA's is what I walked here from our hotel in Burlington. Tried a charcuterie board it was fantastic looking and tasted great ! Got a few things to go beer wise. Great brewery. read more

One star deduction pff the top for too loud music/techno on patio. The margarita is flavorful but kind of small for the price. The rosé cider.was tasty and refreshing. Service swift and good. Love the vibe. but the loud music is a definite turn off. I'd give it a shot on a day when they had live music which they advertise for in the restroom and posters inside. There is a variety of branded metch, snacks, and non-alcoholic choices as well. The patio is dog friendly. The inside is not. read more

Parking: Lots of parking all around outside. Lots of outdoor seating (if there aren't open seats in the front there is seating BEHIND the building). Ordering: If you sit outside you must go inside to order. Same with if you're inside, you must go up to cash register to order. Noise: They often have live music which can be quite loud so I would suggest on a night you want to catch up with someone either sit outside or make sure live music isn't playing. Drinks: They have great options between all types of beer and cocktails. Cocktails are not made there, they're batch prepared/already pre-prepared, so if you're looking for authentic-made-in-front-of-you-cocktails, this isn't your spot - but their cocktails are good! Service: They have three different lines/registers you can order at. Location: overall great location, you can KIND OF see the lake from foam. It's set back behind a road and has quite a few large bushes/trees around it but you are only physically about 200 yards from the lakefront. read more

One of our favorite (if not the top favorite) breweries in all of New England! Foam is the best. The beer is delicious and this brewery has a great atmosphere. Fun/cozy seating inside and outside, alike. Food trucks outside. And right near the boardwalk of Burlington. We always bring some cases of beer home with us when we visit because it's that good. The service is quick and friendly and the vibe is chill/fun/fall. A great spot to check out, especially if you're in the area for leaf peeping or even skiing. read more

The brewery is just off the bike path and has a nice patio. The beer was good but mostly IPA's. We had an enjoyable experience here.

This place was alive and with great vibes. Sat at the bar alone and ordered their bottled sour. Delish. Service was great and the bartenders were very nice. read more

I am so happy I discovered Foam Brewers while visiting Burlington! This little spot is tucked away near Lake Champlain. The brewery stays pretty busy especially on the weekends. I waited in line for maybe a minute or two and was quickly served. I had the rosé cider and that was so good and quite refreshing given how hot it was. The place isn't too big, but offers indoor and outdoor seating options and a parking lot. I sat outside in the shade but when I came back the next day, I sat inside. They also serve food (small bites) but I didn't try any. I had a great experience and talked to a few locals and visitors while there. A definite spot to visit if you're in beautiful Burlington! read more

I spent a week in Burlington, Vermont for a work conference and was lucky enough to visit some craft breweries while there. The very first of all was probably one of the best, Foam Brewers. Foam Brewers is a well-regarded craft brewery located in Burlington, Vermont. Founded in 2016 by an experienced team with diverse backgrounds in brewing, culinary arts, and hospitality, the brewery quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality, innovative beers. Their IPAs are top notch, and you can't beat the location right on Lake Champlain. I tried a few different beers throughout my week in the city. Second Hand Coffins: A Triple IPA they brewed in collaboration with Widowmaker. Heavy oats used in the malt bill to give a nice chewy mouthfeel. I get notes of Dole Whip, mango, and fruit jerky. Red Panda: A Red Flanders Inspired Sour beer that is so good I had to order it twice. Served in a beautiful Teku glass that allowed the ruby red beer to shine. Bright acidity with a funky cherry flavor on the backend with some slight sugar notes. Melted Rope: A Hazy Double IPA that is as true of a hazy IPA as you can get. Huge notes of tropical fruit like passionfruit and guava. Some minor notes of dank resin as well. ____________- read more

Loved this place! It was on our list of places to hit in Burlington and I'm so happy we made it on this trip! The service was super friendly and fast and I could easily spend hours here exploring their menu. Lovers Rock was our favorite and we picked up a few cans to bring home- it's the perfect coffee chocolate stout! We also tried harvest and milquetoast and I liked them both also! I'll definitely come back here next time we're in town. read more

Loved the vibe of this place! Unfortunately it was so dark out by the time we got there so couldn't see the area around the brewery, but the inside was inviting and lively. Loved the live music and the live edge bar with neon lighting! read more

Got some beers from yet another brewery in Burlington. It has a pretty cool location next to the lake. Foam Brewers is one of the hipper looking places around. Has quite a few beers to get. The food is good stuff. Best thing other than the beers is the location to be honest. It's real close to the lake, making it a good stop after walking along it. The outside of this place looks kind of nondescript, but on the inside there's plenty of room though. Beers are the main things to get. Pretty good variety. It's about $6 a pint. The best one of these we had was the Feel It Still. Could be the first time trying a rice lager. This was a pretty light one, and has an herbal and lemony taste. As for the food, pretty okay. It's $9 for the Black Bean Salsa. This is seasoned with cilantro, lime, onions, roasted garlic, and tomatoes. For sure it's a must stop for anyone wanting local beers. It's away from the crowds downtown, but it still gets plenty to come though. There's a lot of beers to choose from, and even the food is good if wanting some things to snack on or whatever. read more

The vibe and location are stellar. It is hard to find brewers with the credentials of these guys.

Tasty beer! Overall, the ambiance was really cute. I like that you can order half pours. I liked the bar tops. Good view of the waterfront. They lost one star for the music. I'm not sure if the band was warming up, but they were kinda all over the place. read more

I love the diversity of beers here! Most of the IPAs are New England IPAs but...this is New England, so that's wicked redundant! What really impressed me were the two Japanese-style rice lagers on tap, great stuff! I also enjoyed the ordering setup. This is one of those rare breweries that is actually properly staffed. There were multiple check-out stations with multiple beer-tenders. This meant there was almost never a line, simply magical! They also had many brewery staples: food truck outside, dog-friendly outdoor area, and live music. Give 'em a shot if you're in Burlington! read more

Great beer, great vibes! Locals and former visitors alike always recommend Foam! Great location! For this visit, I came at the end of the night and bartenders were super kind and non-judgmental as I watched playoff baseball on my phone. I had a delicious sour, Marcona almonds, and got a 4-pack to go. The sours always rock! read more

I love foam brewers. So many great options for drinks and great employees aswell. The vibe is nice here.

Outstanding brewery located nearby Lake Champlain. They have a front patio, plenty of indoor space, and a sizable backyard. We walked by in the late morning they already had some folks here. You know you're onto something good when a brewery already has customers in the morning! Tap list and quality reminds me a lot of Grimm Artisanal Ales in NYC. Grimm is one of my favorite breweries, so I had soft spot for Foam given the similarity. I had the All We Have is Now. It was a wild ale with strong tart and slightly sweet berry flavors. A super fun and flavorful beer. The whole menu was intriguing. I liked how they included a few tasting notes too. Service was quick and helpful. read more

Foam Brewers is a craft brewery that opened in Burlington, Vermont in April 2016. It was founded by business partners Todd Haire, Sam Keane, Bobby Grim, Jon Farmer and Dani Casey. No strangers to the beer industry, the partners are all industry veterans who collectively worked at Switchback Brewing and Magic Hat Brewing. Brewmaster Haire got his start working as a brewer at Magic Hat in 1998 (when Vermont had only four craft breweries). Casey later worked here as well, but Haire would leave the brewery in 2011 to be the head brewer at Switchback. Within a few years, Keane, Grim, Farmer, and Casey would all come to work there as well. Eventually they began talking about opening their own brewery and all of the partners left Switchback in late 2015 to do just that. They set up shop inside a circa 1853 door factory building and were open by spring 2016. The popularity of Foam Brewers' beer grew at an alarming rate purely by word of mouth. Haire later started a sister brewery project with his friend Bill Mares called House of Fermentology. This operation is a blendery that focuses on mixed fermentation and wild ales. Located in nearby Charlotte, the facility is not open to the public but bottles can be purchased at FB's taproom. In 2020, the FB partners opened an adjoining restaurant called Deep City as well as a small natural wine operation called Natural Hack. I recently visited Foam Brewers for the first time while I was on a Vermont craft beer road trip. Not only had I never been there but I had also never tasted their beer. I had heard nothing but excellent things about them for the past few years. I was impressed that a newer brewery had done so well in a state that already has an impressive roster of breweries. I really liked the location which had a nice view of Lake Champlain. I also liked the interior design of the taproom which featured a really cool circular bar. The draught list had no shortage of my favorite beer style: hazy unfiltered IPAs! During my visit, I enjoyed short pours of "Digital vs. Analog" (Double IPA), "Bound for the Floor" (Triple New England IPA), "Experimental Jet Set" (Double New England IPA), and "Second Hand Coffins" (Triple IPA). Every single beer that I tried knocked my socks off! You bet I purchased some beer-to-go before leaving! I truly hope that this isn't my last visit! read more

The vibes are great here, but the service left a bit to be desired. I felt a bit bullied into ordering a margarita or gin and tonic because i wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. I confirmed 3 times I wanted 2 margaritas and was charged for 2 margaritas, but was served 2 gin and tonic, which would have been $4 less total. He also has to ask 3 times if we wanted to start a tab or leave it open. I brought in a Gatorade because it's hot out, and it got warm outside in the sun. I asked my husband to get a cup of ice so I could add it and they gave him a hard time. My husband loves IPAs and thought the built to spill was just fine (they said it was their flagship IPA), but he thought the rodeo one was better. I'd probably give it another shot if we lived around here, but I probably won't go out of my way to come back the next time we are in town. read more

There is nothing bad about this place. The beer is great the snacks are too and the music is awesome.

just went there for beer and snacks. both were good, plus the staff behind the counter. We were then harassed by some sleazy guy with a deck of cards. When I asked him to go away, he became belligerent and claimed he was an employee. I tried to complain to a guy standing there who claimed to be management - but I now think I was being scammed. I won't go back until I am convinced this threat is gone read more

I think this is the first brewery my husband had taken me to that I actually enjoyed the experience. I can't drink beer because I'm allergic, so I always appreciate when a brewery has something more to offer. Foam has SO much more! I tried Sap soda for the first time, which was delightful like a cream soda and I was able to get a mixed drink for the hot day. There was also good food truck food and live music. If more places copied Foam, I'll have to stop groaning every time my husband says he needs to visit another brewery. Oh, and my husband liked the beers and atmosphere too. read more

Randomly visited on a Friday night. They were having live music, which was an unexpected surprise. It was a good group of people. It wasn't too loud, but definitely more college students than anything. I tried a few of the beers but the IPAs were too hoppy. I was afraid to try anything else. They offer snacks and the charcuterie board looked pretty good. It used baguettes from a local bakery August First, which are amazing. I'm not sure I would come back, but it was nice to visit. read more

Scenic brewery to watch the sunset. We grabbed a drink and watched the sunset overlooking lake champagne

Foam Brewers was a brewery in which we had the opportunity to try a beer from. It proved to be a good experience on that beer hence a five star score. We could easily have it again! She Doesn't Need You! was the beer we had. A Hazy New England IPA was the type of beer it was. Dank along with pineapple and pear notes this beer proved to be an excellent one with it's unique flavor profile along with a very even balance that made this particular beer so very impressive! read more

On our annual pilgrimage up to VT on the motorcyles, we usually look for a new brewery to try. We decided on Foam Brewers this year. Located in an old brick building on the water in Burlington, it is what would expect when looking for hip brewery. I'm a New England hazy citra hop IPA snob and Foam had several to choose from. I was very happy with my selection. The rest of my crew are lager and pilsner drinkers and were able to find something to keep them happy. We ordered a charcuterie board that had three cheeses (soft, hard, and funky), hard meats, nuts, and pickled items with French bread slices. Very tasty. We sat outside on the patio and had a great view of Lake Champlain. The location is a little off the beaten path, but definitely walking distance from the center of town and worth the exploration. read more

I love this spot! Hip vibe inside with a stage for live music, a pretty front patio with a view of the lake, and a back patio. The beer is tasty, and I HIGHLY recommend their cheese plate, or combination charcuterie and cheese plate. I am not a big beer person, so I go there for their snack plates alone. read more

Great pours? Check! Outside patio? Check! Great vibes? Check! Variety of beers? Check! Cocktails for those non-beer drinkers? Check! Finding Foam Brewers while walking around was a nice surprise. Unbeknownst to us, we walked in during their 6th (I hope I got this right) anniversary celebration and it was so much fun! The beers were really, really good. I recommend their double and triple IPAs. My favorite thing about Foam Brewers was the space! What a spacious venue they have. They offer outdoor seating in both the front and the back of the brewery, indoor seating with high tops, bar service, etc. We just felt at home. read more

Stopped by with a group of friends looking for things to do in Burlington. They unfortunately do not do flights, so we got whichever eight beer was on tap for the season. They only had sour beer available, which was a bit disappointing as I favor stouts. I tried the Experimental Jet Set. Wasn't too big a fan of it. My second drink I got the Monument Eyes, which I liked better. They had a live band playing while we all were hanging out trying out the beers on tap. read more

Service was great; live music on the night we went; though the music was too loud inside, patio had a perfect atmosphere. My only complaints: menu didn't have a lot of options that were friendly to food allergies; someone told us there was a "lake view" but there's only a tiny sliver of the lake visible no matter where you sit. Would absolutely return. read more
