This spot felt so cozy yet it was spacious. We stopped in before heading to the airport and took advantage of their lunch special. I had a personal pizza (with Vermont maple sausage, caramelized onions, and some other yummy ingredients) with a seafood chowder, both of which were delicious. I also got a side of their homemade hot sauce which was also really good. Our server was friendly and attentive, checking in regularly and making sure our water glasses stayed full. We were dropping our son off at UVM and he raved about this place. The vibe was lively and fun with cool art around the brick building. Also, it was a nice, warm room on a cold night. This restaurant lies just off of Church St., near the Flynn Theatre and City Hill park, along St. Paul St. We walked in on a Saturday evening with a little wait. Their claim is for artisanal flatbread pizza and house-made beer -- "a place to share our food"! What else is there to say beyond that? The pizza didn't last long and we soon found ourselves regretting not ordering two large pies -- they were great! We sampled several house made brews and they were also delicious and fresh. I found this place online and from online reviews. It's a huge place and they serve pizza. We ordered it to go so we didn't go inside but they have great indoor and outdoor seating. They do have a very extensive menu. We got the mushroom pizza which was large and I got the small pepperoni and green pepper pizza. Well, we're pretty good but I do recommend eating it warm and in-house. We ate the pizza a little while later and it was still good but I think it would've been better warmer. we got the pepper soup, which is OK. I don't have any garlic bread or anything which is disappointing. But overall, the lady on the phone was very sweet, got the pizza ready relatively quickly we were surprised. We had a lovely meal at this innovative pizza restaurant. It is well appointed inside and they have stellar and authentic Italian pizza oven. Service was on point and there is a nice selection of beers to enjoy. The pizza itself was quite good and they slice it in thin rectangular slices so it's a little tricky to eat. We ordered four things to go and they messed up two of them. We ordered the only soup on the menu, the evolution salad with goat cheese, 4 topping flatbread and cookies for desert. When we opened our bag at the waterfront picnic spot, no soup, salad had no dressing, no goat cheeese, the pie was tasty and as ordered, the cookies tasted like they were purchased at Wal-Mart a week ago. I came during UVM's graduation week so it was filled with reservations already, but I would definitely love to eat here again one day. The restaurant was spacious and cozy with a bar and fireplace on one side, and a wood-fired pizza oven on the other side. Although the pizza was cold by the time I got to it, it was still good. I ordered the large half and half with the New Vermont Sausage and the Revolution. Whether it was the flavors, how it was cut, the thickness of the flatbread or the sweetness from the caramelized onion, it was super delcious. The brownie from my brownie sundae was soft and rich. The meatball appetizer was a little hard so I would just stick with the flatbread and desserts next time. The food was good togo so I could only imagine having the best time with some freshly baked flatbread while enjoying a nice cold beer at the bar. One day .... If you take the Saturday train up from the city, and you're staying downtown, this is one of the few places open late enough for takeout. And thankfully; the food is great. The restaurant is in a charming building dating back to the 1800s, which adds so much character. Oooooh, wood fired flatbread sounded great after our 20 mile e-bike ride! LOL, we really worked for it! We got the special salad and new Vermont sausage flatbread. The special salad had a few questionable slimy bits stuck to the big leaves and we weren't sure if a raspberry was moldy or a good chunk of blue cheese got really embedded in it. It would have been nice if the red onion was also sliced thinner or even lightly pickled. All in all, it was tasty after we avoided a few bites. The new Vermont sausage had a really nice chewy and crunchy crust, the toppings were generous but lacked a lot of flavor. I even doused mine with red pepper flakes, which I usually don't use at all. We have been eating dinner here whenever we visit Burlington for over a decade, and its consistent quality has never failed to impress us. The servers are friendly, and helpful, though sometimes they get pretty busy. It is a casual and friendly place, though, so when we sometimes haven't been able to reach our server other servers have always been happy to help us. But, eh, I understand staffing shortages, I'm in that situation myself. We decided to get a few cocktails instead of beer and I do not recommend that. The cocktails were not good. I mean they got the job done but they were not pleasurable in the slightest. What was pleasurable was the salad and the meat special flatbread we got (it had bacon jam, cheddar cheese and spinach.) At first I was annoyed there was only one salad and I couldn't change the dressing on it but once we got it all was forgiven because it tasted great. I'd love a bottle of that ginger sesame dressing, it's so good. The flatbread dough was perfectly crispy but also tender. Cooked to perfection, the kid working the oven knows his craft.
