Lots of different beers to try here. Tons of positive energy by the people who work at the brewery.

Came for dinner on a Wednesday evening and had a nice dining experience. Parking in their lot was easy and we were able to walk in and get a table. Workers were all friendly. Inside is large with many different areas to sit in the original area, the bar, outside seating for warmer days and another back area. Inside is cute with a nice atmosphere. The menu has a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches and other entrees. My fork did have a little bit of food debris on it. We ordered the Vermont cheddar fritters and the herb-grilled chicken sandwich. I was starving when I came so this really filed me up! The fritters were crispy and delicious. The crunch and the warm cheese oozing out was the best! The aioli that came with them was delicious, not too spicy. The sandwich was also tasty. The pickles gave a nice crunch and the green goddess dressing was tasty. Overall a nice meal!

We got the mac n cheese, flower child black bean burger, brussel sprouts side and a the greek salad to share for two. Great amount of food, we have leftovers! Wide selection of draft and canned beers/ciders. Great atmosphere with dim lighting, perfect for a date night! Very packed parking lot, highly suggest making a reservation online or you will be waiting a while for a table. Service was quick and friendly. Will be coming back!

In the center of Stowe with plenty around if you're in town looking for a meal. I came here in the evening, midweek, during the offseason, and there was no wait. The hostess was friendly and quick to seat. The waitress was helpful in making selections and food came out really quick! I was in and out of the place within an hour but 30 minutes of that was relaxing after the meal enjoying a beer. On the food front the soup of the day hit the spot after a wet and rainy hike followed by some wings. The beer was good, I went with the Cloudsplitter IPA. Overall, if you find yourself in Stowe looking for a quick service and great dishes, checkout this spot!

We came here for lunch and were seated outside, which was perfect. It was a beautiful day and we had a nice view of the garden while we ate. The host and our server were both friendly and welcoming. We started with the Vermont Cheddar Fritter because why not when you're in Vermont. It was cheesy with a good kick and a great way to begin the meal. I ordered the steak frites and the steak was cooked perfectly. The maple onion jam added a nice touch and the fries were crispy and delicious. My partner had the Mountain Road Grain Bowl with added chicken. It was fresh, flavorful, and something I'd love to try making at home. Overall we had a great dining experience and would definitely come back.

The flight of draft was generous side pours and represented a diverse range of their options. Staff was very friendly and detail-oriented. The decor is beautiful throughout the several sections. One section was cozy, dark on feel. Another was a large fireplace and vintage style bar and the rest was an open, airy, greenhouse reminiscent dining room. The feed menu is well above average for your typical brewery and had both light and comfort food options. In addition to beer there was a cocktail menu. Definitely worth a visit for both the beer and the food!

Dropped by for a quick lunch. We had Octoberfest and Dunkel, both great beers! Welcoming ambiance, tasty food, and excellent service by Jason.

A large brewery with local beer, flights, burgers, sandwiches and salads. They also have chicken, steak and seafood. It was packed with an hour plus wait so we opted to sit and eat at the bar. Inside and outside seating. Good food and beer!

I ordered takeout from Idletyme and can confirm the food is tasty. Even though our order was takeout and came in to-go boxes, the presentation was beautiful. I combined the asparagus with the mashed potatoes and loved how yummy and soft the potatoes blended with the tender asparagus. The mac and cheese was divineeee. Sadly, the french onion soup was too salty and I could not finish it :(

    Roasted half chicken

We came here not expecting a lot (just randomly found this place on the way to Stowe) and I was blown away by the roasted half chicken. It was possibly one of the best chickens I've had. The meat was so perfectly juicy and flavorful! At $29 it's a bit steep but I was definitely not disappointed.

This place is lovely! The food, the ambiance, and the drinks were great! The french onion soup was amazing and definitely a great starter. Would highly recommend

Great seating & spacious outdoor area
    Brianna G.

This was hands-down the best bar we visited in Stowe! The outdoor atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, with some of the best seating and bar areas we've ever seen. The fire pits made it cozy and inviting, and the layout made it easy to relax and enjoy the views. The staff was so friendly, helpful, and quick. At the bar outside, we felt taken care of every time. We didn't eat here, but the drinks, fire pits, and overall vibe were so good that we came back twice during our trip. A must-visit spot in Stowe!

We loved the chill vibe of the location, as they had an open outdoors area with seating and lawn games, including disc golf and corn hole. There was also an outdoor patio with a couch and stage for live performances. It was a place I could see myself kicking back at on the regular if I were local to the area. The location was not serving food when we visited though a food truck was located on site and said it would be opening in May. They did have complementary bags of pretzels available for guests to take. We also enjoyed the gift shop and the fun merch for sale. We purchased a hat. My husband enjoyed his beer and regrets not purchasing a four pack to take home.

The poutine was very good, but I'll grant you that it's maybe hard to get that wrong - but their gravy is on point! Service was great - got there around 5:40pm on a Wednesday, so the wait was non-existent and a table for 5 was easy to accommodate. Duncan was the server, who disclosed that he was new but you wouldn't know it from how he took orders and brought food out. Even threw him a curve by asking for the steak frites with an additional side of brussel sprouts, which he handled no problem - even though there weren't any sides I saw on the menu. Steak was medium rare and perfectly seasoned, and I think I mentioned the chimichurri but it deserves additional mention. Maybe you're wondering about beverages. The maple lemonade is great - it leans harder on the tart side and there are sweeter options around (Cliff House) but I love a lemonade that tastes... lemony. Pineapple cherry punch was also a hit - but that's secondhand hearsay, unlike my direct opinion on the chimichurri - which I would drink if I could. Definitely check this place out. So while on a trip and looking for a spot to grab some lunch naturally we ended up picking this spot. I've been aware of Lost Nation Brewing but it's been since 2016/2017 when I had a beer from them last. To start they have ample parking and have a nicely painted mural on the side of their building. They have an indoor section we did not check that out and instead sat at the bar in the outdoor section. How can you pass up looking into the kitchen and also the wafting scents of burgers, fries and everything else being cooked. Despite a chillier day than most we have had lately it was worth it! Besides their own brews they had guest taps, guest botttles/cans, and even some cocktails including some spiked apple cider for that fall feeling drink. For beer fans they even had a rotating Hillfarmstead DIPA for a guest tap. I ended up getting their Kolsch and my wife got their gose. Both very solid beers and worth grabbing. Food wise they had a couple burgers, fried chicken sandwich, pulled pork, turkey sandwich, hot dogs, and some small plates. My wife ended up choosing the burger and I got their fried chicken sandwich. She enjoyed the burger and thought it was cooked very well. The chicken sandwich was delicious, the fact it was smothered in honey did make it a bit messy to eat but tasted so good! The fries we got were massive and well seasoned and the side of pickles were great too. Would be a no brainer to get either one again if we visit again! Bartender was friendly and we didn't wait long at all for the drinks or food! Well made brews paired along side delicious food, really what more could you ask for? If you visit during warmer weather it appeared they have a huge outdoor area further back than we were in as well! If you like visiting breweries add this to your list to check out!

Despite the packed house, servers were friendly and reasonably attentive, and while the food came out slow, that's to be expected. I wouldn't say it was unreasonable at all considering the volume, AND they were churning out a ton of to-go orders. No televisions in here, which I loved, and a great vibe. Tons of people just having a great time. Great non-alcoholic drink menu. About to celebrate three years of sobriety, and I truly appreciate that. The food was good-great, depending. My wife got a salad with pulled pork and I got the brisket. Both were just "fine" and the meats desperately needed sauce. The brisket was pretty dry, which was disappointing. We also split a side of the smoked mushrooms, which we thought were good, and the pasta salad, which was unfortunately quite bland and not very noteworthy at all despite using pasta from the acclaimed Gallus. Now here's the sleeper: the dry rub wings were incredible. Some of the best I've ever had! Don't miss out on these just because they're on the appetizer menú.
