I came here with a large group on a Friday night. We made a reservation but there weren't many other people there, so we probably would have been fine without it. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. The menu is small. Not a ton of options to choose from. I got the mountain road grain bowl, which was mediocre at best. The chicken was dry and skimpy. The sweet potatoes were cold and hard. The portions were generous (just not the added chicken). I left full but not impressed.

Lots of different beers to try here. Tons of positive energy by the people who work at the brewery.

Came for dinner on a Wednesday evening and had a nice dining experience. Parking in their lot was easy and we were able to walk in and get a table. Workers were all friendly. Inside is large with many different areas to sit in the original area, the bar, outside seating for warmer days and another back area. Inside is cute with a nice atmosphere. The menu has a variety of soups, salads, sandwiches and other entrees. My fork did have a little bit of food debris on it. We ordered the Vermont cheddar fritters and the herb-grilled chicken sandwich. I was starving when I came so this really filed me up! The fritters were crispy and delicious. The crunch and the warm cheese oozing out was the best! The aioli that came with them was delicious, not too spicy. The sandwich was also tasty. The pickles gave a nice crunch and the green goddess dressing was tasty. Overall a nice meal!

Wow. Wow. As you enter the reception area, the ambience is awesome. Plants, large windows, they hit the mark with the flow of the restaurant! I had the French onion soup and it left me wanting more with trying to figure out why it stood out front the rest! The maple syrup Mac and cheese was incredible!

In the center of Stowe with plenty around if you're in town looking for a meal. I came here in the evening, midweek, during the offseason, and there was no wait. The hostess was friendly and quick to seat. The waitress was helpful in making selections and food came out really quick! I was in and out of the place within an hour but 30 minutes of that was relaxing after the meal enjoying a beer. On the food front the soup of the day hit the spot after a wet and rainy hike followed by some wings. The beer was good, I went with the Cloudsplitter IPA. Overall, if you find yourself in Stowe looking for a quick service and great dishes, checkout this spot!

We came here for lunch and were seated outside, which was perfect. It was a beautiful day and we had a nice view of the garden while we ate. The host and our server were both friendly and welcoming. We started with the Vermont Cheddar Fritter because why not when you're in Vermont. It was cheesy with a good kick and a great way to begin the meal. I ordered the steak frites and the steak was cooked perfectly. The maple onion jam added a nice touch and the fries were crispy and delicious. My partner had the Mountain Road Grain Bowl with added chicken. It was fresh, flavorful, and something I'd love to try making at home. Overall we had a great dining experience and would definitely come back.

We got the mac n cheese, flower child black bean burger, brussel sprouts side and a the greek salad to share for two. Great amount of food, we have leftovers! Wide selection of draft and canned beers/ciders. Great atmosphere with dim lighting, perfect for a date night! Very packed parking lot, highly suggest making a reservation online or you will be waiting a while for a table. Service was quick and friendly. Will be coming back!

The flight of draft was generous side pours and represented a diverse range of their options. Staff was very friendly and detail-oriented. The decor is beautiful throughout the several sections. One section was cozy, dark on feel. Another was a large fireplace and vintage style bar and the rest was an open, airy, greenhouse reminiscent dining room. The feed menu is well above average for your typical brewery and had both light and comfort food options. In addition to beer there was a cocktail menu. Definitely worth a visit for both the beer and the food!

Dropped by for a quick lunch. We had Octoberfest and Dunkel, both great beers! Welcoming ambiance, tasty food, and excellent service by Jason.

A large brewery with local beer, flights, burgers, sandwiches and salads. They also have chicken, steak and seafood. It was packed with an hour plus wait so we opted to sit and eat at the bar. Inside and outside seating. Good food and beer!

I ordered takeout from Idletyme and can confirm the food is tasty. Even though our order was takeout and came in to-go boxes, the presentation was beautiful. I combined the asparagus with the mashed potatoes and loved how yummy and soft the potatoes blended with the tender asparagus. The mac and cheese was divineeee. Sadly, the french onion soup was too salty and I could not finish it :(

We came here not expecting a lot (just randomly found this place on the way to Stowe) and I was blown away by the roasted half chicken. It was possibly one of the best chickens I've had. The meat was so perfectly juicy and flavorful! At $29 it's a bit steep but I was definitely not disappointed.

    Do you serve Chardonnay wine?

Yes we do! 2 different Chardonnay by the glass.

Im seeing mixed information about the dog policy. Are they or are they not allowed on the outdoor patio? Have been many times before, and are hoping to bring some guests this time who have their dog traveling with them.

Danielle, Thank you so much for taking the time to ask. We do allow dogs on the Patio, Back Lawn…

Lots of parking was available and of course best time to go is off season. We had our choice of tables. Inside, out on the patio or in a sort of sunroom that's air conditioned. Austrian food is not generally at the pinnacle of the food game, however the schnitzel tasted like reheated bugerking chicken sandwich and the French fries came out cold. The waitress was fantastic despite having to cover the entire place. Nice space but dated. Friendly staff. Bland food. Don't come here for the food, but do come for the above average beer.

The poutine was very good, but I'll grant you that it's maybe hard to get that wrong - but their gravy is on point! Service was great - got there around 5:40pm on a Wednesday, so the wait was non-existent and a table for 5 was easy to accommodate. Duncan was the server, who disclosed that he was new but you wouldn't know it from how he took orders and brought food out. Even threw him a curve by asking for the steak frites with an additional side of brussel sprouts, which he handled no problem - even though there weren't any sides I saw on the menu. Steak was medium rare and perfectly seasoned, and I think I mentioned the chimichurri but it deserves additional mention. Maybe you're wondering about beverages. The maple lemonade is great - it leans harder on the tart side and there are sweeter options around (Cliff House) but I love a lemonade that tastes... lemony. Pineapple cherry punch was also a hit - but that's secondhand hearsay, unlike my direct opinion on the chimichurri - which I would drink if I could. Definitely check this place out. The table near ours seemed to immensely enjoy their meal and also get great service from Duncan.

The burgers were very classic burgers delicious but nothing special our friends got the classic burger while we got the bench burger, which came with bacon and onions. Funnily enough I thought our french fries were kind of burnt but still good. Finally, we wrapped up with the cookie skillet and that was the absolute highlight. I wish I could have eaten four of those by myself. When we got there, the weight was about an hour. We were able to put our names down until they called us. Once we receded, the service was great, and the food came out very quickly. It is a really cute spot and Stow and probably one of the better casual sit down restaurants in the area. It's super tough to get seated anywhere during peak ski season so even an hour wait was on the shorter end for a lot of these spots

Despite the packed house, servers were friendly and reasonably attentive, and while the food came out slow, that's to be expected. I wouldn't say it was unreasonable at all considering the volume, AND they were churning out a ton of to-go orders. No televisions in here, which I loved, and a great vibe. Tons of people just having a great time. Great non-alcoholic drink menu. About to celebrate three years of sobriety, and I truly appreciate that. The food was good-great, depending. My wife got a salad with pulled pork and I got the brisket. Both were just "fine" and the meats desperately needed sauce. The brisket was pretty dry, which was disappointing. We also split a side of the smoked mushrooms, which we thought were good, and the pasta salad, which was unfortunately quite bland and not very noteworthy at all despite using pasta from the acclaimed Gallus. Now here's the sleeper: the dry rub wings were incredible. Some of the best I've ever had! Don't miss out on these just because they're on the appetizer menú. If I came back I'd just get a double order of these bad boys. Sweet and smoky and cooked to perfection. Absolute 10/10.
