Love this salon! I randomly found it and decided to treat myself to a manicure and pedicure. My nail tech was so friendly and did an excellent job. I was super stressed that day, so it was very nice to relax! Absolutely loved the deluxe pedi with the foot scrub and lotion. If I could do no stars I definitely would. I went here to get a fill-in and wish that I never had. Three days after getting my nails done here my nail polish looks like I've had my nails done for over three weeks and my thumb nail has broken Down the middle. I'm not sure what happened but my nails are completely botched. The first time I had my nails done here it was great, a man did my mani and pedi. This time around I was helped by a woman who completely ruined my nails. She filed my nails down to nothing and the filing wasn't even at all. I just moved to the Royal Oak area and have been having a hard time finding a good nail salon. This was NOT the place. I get my nails done every two weeks and I have Never seen nails done so terrible. I got a simple acrylic set, and they came out all different sizes, the acrylic is all dried under neath the tips, the nail polish is not even painted nicely. Not to mention they were completely over priced and took an hour and a half!!. I tipped just for the sake of Karma, but I will NEVER be returning. read more

I had a fill and pedicure here and there were just ok. Not terrible by any means but not the best I've had either. Everyone is really nice and the location is great, but the entire experience left me wanting something better. I would give extra stars for the Hot Stone pedicure, but the quality of toe polish skill left much to be desired - I had too much polish on my cuticles to really consider it a "good job." I would recommend it if you are in a hurry, but unfortunately I cannot make this my go-to place. read more

let me preface this review by saying that I am not a "princess" - I am a reasonable client who prides myself on always being on time. I called 3 days ahead to make an appointment for 10:30 am. I was informed that it must be 10:00 or 11:00 . I chose 11:00 because I once had had a 10:00 and the owners were 15 minutes late due to traffic. (Understandable - but I moved on ), I decided to never make a 10:00 again for that very reason. In any case, I arrived promptly at 11:00 for my appointment and the female owner was very "snarky" and confronted me stating that my appointment was for 10:00. I responded that there must have been a mix-up - I was sure it was for 11:00. She continued with a very confrontational attitude showing me how she had written 10:00 in her book. I said that I was sorry for the confusion ( never conceding the error - whoever was at fault) and asked if they could still accommodate me. ( let me also mention that there was only one client in the shop at the time- under the drying ledge ), She " harrumphed" and stalked off to let the gentleman do the pedicure. I was in the shop for 45 minutes and during that time no other clients even came through the door. For her to be so unpleasant was uncalled for - it's not like they were backed up with other clients. There is a lot of competition in this field and after being treated so poorly, I can assure you that I will never darken their door again. read more

Okay so I want to say that as far as my manicure and pedicure went. They were very well done. What was not well done was they gave me a deluxe pedicure and manicure without asking me if that's what I wanted and charged me $ 5.00 extra for the "special" nail polish I choose which was not mentioned that it was special and more costly. So with tip it was $53.00 which is more than i have ever paid at a non spa salon. The funny thing is they made a big deal about this great nail polish that is suppose to last 7 days. Today is day 3 and it is chipping. I can't go back and have them fix it because I live out town, it was great service but they way over charged me in my opinion. I thought it would be $ 35.00 dollars and then tip. It was $ 45.00 plus tip. Way too much. read more

Really nice people here but probably the worst 16$ manicure I have ever gotten... My nails look deformed and she didn't apply polish to the entire nail... If I could give zero stars I would. I received a mani-pedi and it was horrible. They must have had a young relative training in the shop and I was the unlucky victim. Her lack of experience showed in every aspect of the service. Very nice and friendly... but mediocre if best for a full set of acrylics. I had to take the polish off and re file them when I got home. I know that a new full set isn't always perfect or even close to perfect, but this was beyond horrible. I had acrylic and glue all over my fingers and cuticles and the polish job was horrible. I had visited this place a few times, and they had always done a pretty good job, although they're expensive. This time, the owner was doing a pedi on me with the Essie polish I had supplied. Apparently, the polish was getting thick and I requested that she add some thinner to it. She refused, saying she didn't have any. ??? Not surprisingly, the polish came our gloppy on my big toe. No, it isn't fancy by any means, but the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming and I didn't feel rushed in any way even though it was just a quick polish change. I noticed the staff seemed to know several customers by name, which was impressive. The lady that did my nails was very pleasant. Her customer service skills were exceptional but unfortunately after getting my nails done this past Friday I was not happy with the job that was done. My pedicure was not thorough and she did not polish my entire toe nail. My shellac began to come off my nails after 3 days. My nails and feet look as if I painted them myself.
