Their handling of this matter is greatly appreciated and I definitely will purchase from them again based not only on their quick and fair handling of my situation, but also for their prices which are lower than some of the other online hobby stores.

He is by far one of the nicest shop owners I have ever met in the U.S. He really cares deeply about his customers and wants everyone to be satisfied with what they are buying. He allows you to check the models before taking them home to make sure they are not defective. Compared to eBay or other websites. I find models here to be the cheapest. A model plane will be $120 on eBay but then this place has it for like $46. Forgot to mention that the price you see is the not the price you pay. Steve takes money off and if you pay with cash and save him credit card fees, he will take a few dollars off. Would highly recommend this hobby store. If you frequent games shops, one of the first things you'll notice is how spacious the store is. I've been to a few where one person moving in the opposite direction of you constitutes a traffic jam. Maybe things will fill out the longer they stay here, but for the time being, the openness is welcome, and everything is sectioned off well; family games and items closer to "toys", board games proper (alphabetized, to boot), roleplaying books and dice, miniatures and their supplies, and the aforementioned tables. It feels like each section gets the respect it deserves. The questions I had were answered very well, suggestions were helpful and notably neither pushy nor overwhelming, and I left with a few items in tow, as well as a frequent shopper punch card AND an invitation to come back for an upcoming holiday event at the store. They seem like great people, so sooner or later, I WILL be back.

I asked if there would be a charge and he said "just tax" and i didnt ask further. Looked at my checking account later that week and I had been charged $10.95. Again, the bin these were in was labeled $5 for three small items (or $2 each) I mean this could be partially my fault for not asking specifics but i was running late for something else. Anyways the guy in there seemed nice but now i feel like his small talk was just there to distract me from asking more about the price. So yeah. Check your bank account after they charge you because they might straight up charge you double without telling you.

We worked with Mike to coordinate a surprise birthday party for our 5 year old who's obsessed with…read morecars. Mike was super easy to work with and pricing was very reasonable to host a 2 hour party for kids. The main track can be dialed back so that the kids won't send the cars off the track. Mike (one man team) did a great job of rotating the kids in for races and even had a separate area for those not racing to send hot wheels care down an inclined race track to pass time while they awaited their turn. Overall the event was a success. We were able to bring in pizza from next door for food. I have pretty fond memories of my dad taking my brother and I slot car racing when we were kids so it was a really cool to be able to share the same experience with my son and his friends. They also have Magic, The Gathering and other popular card games, though I didn't see Pokemon among the display cases. The gaming side is top of the line, with plenty of tables and terrain for hours of battle. I fancy myself more of a painter than a gamer and I was impressed with the options for paint, brushes, and tools they had available. I didn't buy anything on my first visit, but my son and friends felt welcomed and were treated kindly, even as teenagers (typically, this has been a challenge). I'm looking to paint an army of space marines soon, so I'll be in to grab some washes and metallics. This place is nerd nirvana.
