Owner, Mike, is friendly and entertaining - and a record-holding juggler! He must be a good boss because his (also friendly and helpful) staff has not changed in the years I've been shopping here. The team is great at suggesting collaborative or competitive games for your friends and family--whatever your budget. The selection is always changing, so I pop in frequently to see what's new and to ask him to teach me how to play the game! When they don't have what I want in stock, they can often order it for me. This is the coolest store in all of Naperville and worth the drive from Chicagoland. Lots of nostalgic games and treats for kids of all ages. We spent an hour in there and it felt like 10 minutes. My 9yo wanted to get a particular puzzle game before an upcoming road trip (couldn't order online as it wouldn't arrive on time). We went to a few other stores with no luck. We decided to go to Treasures, and soon after we walked in we were asked if there was anything in particular we were looking for. We told the man working there that we had been to a few other stores and described the game. They didn't have it in stock, but he just so happened to have an excellent quality handmade version of the game, which he offered to let us purchase for a reasonable price. He also gave my son a 12 sided die just for fun, and our entire experience there made my son's day! We also spent a few minutes looking around the store. They have a great selection and so many fun and unique toys and games. With it being right after Christmas, we didn't purchase anything other than the game that we came for, but we will definitely be back in the future. I really loved discovering this store in downtown Naperville. I walked in and noticed the very enthusiastic owner explaining his various games to other patrons. As I walked around, I appreciated the assortment of games, jewelry, and other accessories they had for sale. There's also in the store a place to actually play the games, which I do appreciate given the theme of the store. This store has an excellent selection of games. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. The location is really convenient for it's proximity to parking. The prices were also very fair. I highly recommend it. My wife and I were walking back to our car after a lunch date and we stumbled across this shop. I had to stop in, at least a moment, to check out a new board game store. The owner (whose name I failed to get, sorry amigo) was on site and super friendly. He showed us a game called quoridor. I think it's spelled this way... It was fun. I'd totally play that again. I was pumped to learn that, whenever people are ready to gather again, the store has a basement with room for tables and chairs for larger board game gatherings. I call this out because it's not obvious, and I think a space to play games is probably the second most important component of a games store, following games themselves. read more

This place is a literal treasure chest, my only regret is that I live in Los Angeles and was only in town for vacation. Tons of games for adults, tons of games and toys for the children, an amazing assortment of candy. The shopowner, Michael, who also put on a great magic show for our daughter, is quite possibly one of the nicest humans on this planet. He is also a father and you can truly tell he operates this store for the joy of others. He was telling us that he'll watch what is hot and trending and see places like Amazon pricegouge up to 5x the retail price but he sells it in his store at the original price. There were so many games that me and my cousins wanted to buy but we didn't have the luggage space! My family and I are hard supporters of #SupportLocal and we hope that this store will be here forever everytime we come in town to visit Naperville! read more

Recently we were in need of a popular board game for an upcoming birthday. We couldn't find this game at any local store and delivery from most retailers was going to take over 2 weeks. We called Treasures and they went above and beyond to deliver. They didn't have the game in stock but worked with their supplier to have the game arrive in several days. They held the game for us and we were able to pick it up just in time for the birthday. They have a great selection of games for all ages and their customer service is incredible! read more

The owner is super friendly and helpful--able to explain games in a succinct manner. My son and I stumbled in and were able to play two games and play with a bunch of other toys and gadgets. My 2 teenage kids and I were out for my daughter's 16th birthday and noticed this store when we were out in the area. We were walking up to it but it had just closed. The owner was walking to his car, saw we were interested and asked if we wanted to go in. He was very enthusiastic and accommodating so we took him up on it. This place is a treasure! The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable about the games he sold. We bought a game, some D&D dice, and some fun collectibles. We need more people in the world like this man, more stores like his store and I will tell everyone I know to shop there and support this small business.
