I don't like shopping anywhere else for toys and games. This store does all of the work for you when shopping for the coolest new stuff. Everything is separated by age group so you know what to buy for who. These are toys that I wouldn't find at target but instead they are high rated and educational. Anything I buy from here I know will be a hit and always has. I'm so happy I found out about this store. My son loved seeing Daniel Tiger a year or so ago also which is what brought us in in the first place. They always send coupons also!! read more

There's a kid in our life, and we're always on the lookout for cool, educational and interesting toys for him as he gets older. Sure, there are big-box stores closer to us, but I am all about patronizing the little guys when I can. Learning Express is a great little toy store. They seem to have a good age range from toddler on up to tween, including outdoor toys, seasonal stuff, Legos, building kits, craft kits and more. The clerks are helpful without being pushy, and they offer free gift wrap (although we did not take them up on this -- my husband loves (loves!) to wrap presents). Things do tend to cost a little more than, say, Toys R Us, yes, but they have coupons in the local flyer sometimes and the service is great. Plus, you can't go wrong shopping local. read more

Years ago I would have definitely given this place 5 stars for the quality toys that they carried. I got my older boys some great unique items here. They have lots of Thomas stuff, Darda cars and Playmobil items. They used to carry TONS of outside toys, but that supply has dwindled. Lots of room in the store is taken by the plastic bins that hold items that kids have on their birthday registry. Alas, now it has lots of plastic stuff that they will write your name on and charm bracelets and craft kits (mostly girl stuff). The store is so crammed full of stuff you can't bring a stroller in there and forget about containing your kid. He/she will walk around and probably end up by the train table. They have a frequent buyer program which gives you a $15 credit after you spend $300, they gift wrap for free and they have a gift registry. Those are all good things, but I just can't get past the infiltration of too many girly/princess-like items and the absence of toys that get you outside. read more

I have to rate 2 stars because the young workers there are very unprofessional. This is the 2nd or 3rd time that I've overheard them talking about their childhood / parental issues, on the phone, one girl didn't even HEAR my compliment to her because she was standing literally at the front desk looking down at her phone, and they have a lot of opinions about a lot of stuff that frankly, moms with their kids don't want to hear. These millennials need an urgent wake up call on how to operate in the real world! read more

Looking for just the right gift? Learning Express packs a lot of variety into a small space, with lots of selection, good quality and the latest in innovative toys. The staff know the stock and are extremely helpful and efficient. If you need just the right thing, but are not sure of the name or want to know "Is there even a toy that does THAT?" check with LE. Here is my story: We do not even live in the area, but this Learning Express location just helped us coach a relative through the purchase of a birthday present. The relatives were not sure what to get, were short on time, but sincerely wanted to give something that would be "just right." I called around, and the Learning Express employee was helpful and knowledgeable... Yay! I was able to direct our friends there, and they were able to quickly pick out something fun without feeling like they totally pawned off the gift purchase on moi. Everyone is happy! (and that 5 year old will be much happier to get something from Learning Express than a some new undies and a polo shirt... C'mon you have all been there! I love this store! There is so much cute stuff and they pack so many toys into this little space too. All the toys in here are quality and I have never had a problem. I read below someone had an issue with their fidget toy, i have had mine for months with no problems. I got an awesome laser tag set from here too for my niece and nephew and they loved it! read more

This has always been our "go-to" place for birthday gifts. I like to shop local, however I was dismayed when I saw that they inflated the cost of a popular toy from the MSRP of $14.99 to $24.99. A 66% increase?!? I get supply and demand, but this isn't an Amazon reseller or eBay. So - just a warning to check prices or make sure you have their coupons! read more

I just walked out of Learning Express toys to return my third fidget spinner for a replacement because they are garbage. This was in a two-week time span and the owner refused to let me exchange the item. I will never spend a dime at Learning Express toys and I recommend you do the same. This is pretty much a mom and pop store NOT amazon or walmart. So obviously they will be stricter when it comes to coupons, returns, etc. I love this place because they have quality and educational toys that you dont see everyday. Im always looking for simple toys im sick of loud flashing fisher price and vtech toys so this place is a great alternative for my son. Honestly i love their coupons i always save money when i come here but of course you have to do your research before buying. Some things will be cheaper elsewhere. read more

Waste of time. They gave me a coupon when I got though the door to see pappa pig. 10 mins later get to the register and I can't use my coupons because of the items my kids picked up where on sale. If you knew you had items on sale why even give out the coupons. The coupons did not state excludes sale items. They should've did that, my kids had to put there things back. It was clear to see that they just wanted to sell toys by promoting peppa pig appearance. read more

Great experience. Bought a trampoline for my grandson and unfortunately it would not flatten out and lock. I called the store the next day and a very pleasant young lady said they had more in stock and I could return it. Long story short, the birthday boy now has a fun and functional trampoline! All stores should have this kind of customer service! read more

I have been shopping at Learning Express since moving to the area a little over a year ago. Learning Express has made shopping for birthday presents for the never-ending stream of kids birthdays a truly pleasant experience. I really like that you can give the clerk your price point and age of the child you are purchasing for and they can recommend an appropriate toy--you just can't get that service at Target or Toys R Us. The free wrapping service gets you out the door in no time. I agree with the last reviewer that they are a little heavy on "girl stuff" but I have never had a challenge finding an appropriate "boy" present. The Birtdhay Bins are a clever way to get a child exactly what he/she wants. Though the prices may be a bit higher than a larger retailer, I feel like the time saving, selection, outstanding service and complimentary gift-wrap more than make up for any additional cost. I also feel good about supporting a local merchant. read more

I have shopped here for a few years but this was my first experience with a return. The item was damaged and went in after Xmas for an exchange. I was told they were out of stock but they could get one from another store. Someone would call me later and let me know when to pick it up. No phone call. Called two days later and asked to speak to the manager. I was told they didn't have one. Wow. Really? Explained the situation and was told they don't get items from other stores. Interesting. Too bad i wasn't told that at first so I could just get a refund and then go buy it at the other store. I was told they would call back. They did. Turns out they do stock the item at their store. It was there the whole time. Guess what. She talked to a store manager who said i should come in and come get it. What? A store manager? No way. The sheer amount of lies and stupidity will ensure that I never go back to this store again. read more
