I haven't been inside a Barnes & Nobles in years. I saw Barnes & Noble is offering a featured book of the Month deal for $5.00 upstairs at their cafe. You must make a coffee or bakery purchase any order to get this deal. This location in Oakbrook offers a wide selection of books, magazines, games, music, and gifts, you name it. A cafe that serves coffee, tea, bakery items and snacks. This bookstore is spacious. I like that you can pick out a book and find a quiet place to read. Very organized and easy to browse around and locate your favorite topic sections. There are so many book titles throughout the store. A nice place to come and pick out a good book or grab a magazine and sit back and enjoy the quiet and chill atmosphere. If you have any questions there are plenty of workers walking around willing to help. Even though it was busy and alot of people walking around. The atmosphere was still calm and peaceful. Go online and sign up for upcoming events and book club meetings.

I love books so you can probably tell I like Barnes and noble. The place is very spacious and has countless Y/A books. It was almost too much because I wanted them all. They had good value and had 5 dollar book sections. The staff was also nice and even though there was a long line the staff rang me up very quickly. The only real complaint I have about this store is the fact that it is pretty loud for a book store but for how large it is there is not much you can do about it. Personally I think this is a top 3 bookstore in Oakbrook mall or possibly the best. I can't wait to come back again because this bookstore is just so great.

Great store, 2 floors and isn't updated like the new ones, BUT THATS OK! I love the old layout! I could get lost here and spend all day in the store! Their fiction selection is quite large and makes me happy! I wasn't there looking for anything in mind but did add some more on my "too read" list. Their clearance section is abundant and picked up Stephen Markley's novel "Ohio" for $6! I wanted to read that for a while, but just haven't. Staff was social distancing and they provided hand sanitizer when I walked in.

It is no secret that I pove B&N. This location particularly! It is spacious, with Coffee Shop inside. Lots of different books:) what do you need more?! Every one around here are very nice. Ready to help in a second and doing their best. BN is often my go to place to find some presents for my dearest ones. And for me:) I love the fact that I can pileup a ton of book and just sit and relax and do my research to choose the right one. From history to travel magazines, fashion books Nd art book, from crafting to cooking they have it all. Very cute department of diy is on the first floor and it is very impressive with ideas. I will continue to enjoy this place and I highly recommend it for a visit.

I love shopping here... the girl in the kids section was so helpful in helping me pick books for gifts . Everything is well organized and welcoming.Only sad thing no more free gift wrapping.

It's something nostalgic about going into a bookstore and picking up a physical copy of a book rather than downloading the latest release on an iPad. Barnes has a huge variety of books, magazines, and games. Some great coffee table books as well. Clean and well-organized.

I stopped here to kill time at their caffe which serves Starbucks and food. They are located on the second floor of the store. It is a large Barnes and Noble with books, music, games and the BN Caffe.

Incredible store for picking up Criterion's. They have an incredible selection of movies to look through and every single employee is friendly, cordial, and polite. Highly recommended! I always walk away very happy after I leave this store. It has a great vibe and is huge! This is the best Barnes and Noble in the area! They truly care and it shows!

Large location and huge selection. Staff was available when we had questions. They have 2 floors to shop.

They had such a huge selection of puzzles and there were other toys as well but I didn't really care about them myself. I spent some time looking through most of the puzzles they had and found quite a few that I would love to have. While I was checking out the puzzles the gentleman working the store came up to tell me that the sale on the. puzzles didn't start till the next day but they had put all the signage out earlier that day. I found this kind of sad as there were quite a few people in the store clearly shopping the puzzles and looking to buy some for the buy one get one for 50% off. As I was trying to not buy anything for myself really this trip I may not make it back during the sale but this is one of the few stores in the mall that I could probably enjoy shopping at. The only downside was putting signage out early which is misleading to the customers and the gentleman himself was a bit gruff. Not really the type that I expect to find in a toy store.

People in Amsterdam will also ask if you have done a canal boat tour - and you have to do these when you visit these cities. Our docent volunteer guide, Steve, was excellent. He was very personable and extremely knowledgeable about the city's riverside buildings and its history. The boat staff was also hardworking and ready to help with any issues, from getting a drink at the boat's downstairs bar to handing out covers when the rain hit us. For what we paid, the 1.5 hour tour was more than worth it. I recommend sitting at the top towards the back, as you don't have to crane your neck as much when he points out places of interest. This was a truly wonderful experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Not a must see or do attraction but a great day filler activity as you explore the city. Loved the wealth of information they offer as it's valuable to understand Chicagos importance from the ground up! I thought it would be more about highlighting the amazing architectural buildings around the city but nothing like that. It's was more about the environmental impact the city has and the hurdles when designing buildings around town. The staff were friendly at check in and provided great service overall as they were kind and helpful. Small center that you may explore at your own pace and may or may not be worth the admission price. But scoring free tickets it allowed us to be selective in our day or day plans to include the activity to pay it a visit!
