I can't explain what a great business this is. First I was greeted enthusiastically by Lucy which started the interaction splendidly. I dropped off my wife's business clothes and she inspected each and every garment and noted with tags anything that needed special attention. I have never experienced this level of detail oriented dry cleaning. This was my first time at a dry cleaners in Grest Falls since we moved from WA state. I picked it up and once again Lucy gave a splendid bright reception. The prices were the best I've experienced and I will be back every time I need dry cleaning and when I need to get my suits taken in by the alterations they also offer. Can we talk about how amazing Lucy is? She is always positive, always nice and tells you very accurately what needs to be done. The Great Falls Cleaners is incredibly reliable cleaners service and they were always very thorough and gentle with our clothing and household stuff that needed cleaning. They are open during convenient hours, so I usually drop of my stuff in the morning and in a day or two I pick it up in the afternoon on my way to/from work. My go-to spot for my expensive stuff; so far so good!! But I would not recommend using them for any Canada Goose products. My fault on that one, but the Tysons Canada Goose store even gives you a recommended cleaners. Use the recommendation if you're given one. My raincoat isn't as perfect as it used to be and there's nothing GFC can do once that happens, unless they bought me the worth of the brand new coat. Nevertheless- I use them. Dear Management and Yelp viewers, Today I called Great Falls cleaners to inquire the price for one piece suit- same day service. My interaction with the woman was horrible and disrespectful. After my question was asked, the woman replies (in a rude manner) that she does not have the price and to call back. While I was in the middle of asking her when I should call back, she hangs up. I called back several times throughout the day and every time I mentioned my questions she would hang up. I have been brought up to respect others regardless of my circumstance and I expect some level of respect in return. If they treat their potential customers in such manner, then the quality of their work must be as bad or worst. I would NOT even give them one star. read more

I want to publicly compliment Great Falls Cleaners. It was my first time using them. My husband's light colored work pants had a pen explode in the pocket. I had used rubbing alcohol and loosened up the ink only to have it spread all over in my repeated attempts to remove the stain. I took it to another cleaner with no improvement. I was ready to throw the pants out. But I decided to give Great Falls Cleaners a try based on online reviews. They were super friendly but unsure they could get the stain out, but they were willing to give it a shot. Great news. The pants look great. They only charged me $9 when I know they spent considerable time and effort to remove the stain which was now in multiple spots all over the pants. Very happy and impressed. After reading the recommendation of the reviewer who wrote about this cleaner getting ink out of her husband's work pants, I decided to take my favorite dress here when it got a terrible stain on Christmas Eve. One of the gel packs inside my push-up bra exploded that night, leaving a horrible, oily stain all over the front of the dress. By the time I got home and could take the dress off, the stain had spread from waist to shoulder on the left side, and I was convinced I'd have to get rid of the dress. My husband brought the dress to Great Falls Cleaners two days later (since they wouldn't have been open Christmas day)--when the stain seemed completely set and dry. They promised to do their best--but told him the stain was pretty bad. We left it with them for a week, and I went to pick it back up today. To my complete shock, they eliminated the stain entirely! The dress (a shiny, almost satin-like fabric) is still as beautiful as always, but there is literally not a mark remaining. On top of that, Lucy was so sweet with my toddler, talking to her and asking her various questions. Though we live in Reston and are very close to other cleaners who have always been just fine, I will now be driving the extra miles to go here for my dry cleaning needs. They're fantastic! read more

I've been dealing with these same folks since the 1980s. They are careful and conscientious. They did a great job cleaning my wife's wedding dress which had been stained by black soot at the hem. They also did a great job in removing set in food stains on the same dress. For simple cleaning jobs, I use the mass market cleaners, but when something is important and needs special care, I use Great Falls Cleaners. read more

I recently had a terrible experience with G.F. Cleaners. I took my husband's very nice (and expensive) jeans to them, so that they could replace the button. I attached the botton in a baggie and they assured me that they could attach it. I picked the jeans up, brought them all the way home, and when my husband tried to put them on we discovered that the button had not been attached and was still in the baggie. So, I drove the jeans all the way back to the store and they said that they couldn't replace the button because they needed to patch the jeans near the button hole. (If only they had told me that when I picked up the jeans they could have saved me a trip.) So, I said that was fine, patch the jeans and replace the button that was still in the baggie. When I picked up the jeans, the patch was fine, but they had replaced the button with a very cheesy, cheap looking shiny silver button with leaves on it. This button was totally unacceptable and ruined the look of the jeans totally. Their response -- Sorry that you don't like it, but he won't notice. I will never go there again. read more
