Walking into this salon was the best decision I've made in a long time. This is exactly what a salon should be: clean, calm, and genuinely family-friendly. The entire staff is courteous and professional--no cursing, no inappropriate behavior, just respectful conversation the whole time. They're also very health-conscious; everyone agrees that smoking is harmful and has no place in a client environment, and you'll never see a cigarette anywhere near the chairs. My kids were completely at ease, got excellent haircuts, and actually enjoyed the visit. The atmosphere is relaxed yet polished, pricing is reasonable, and every stylist takes pride in their work. At my highlight appointment last December, I clearly explained that I wanted the front of my hair to be very bright with a thick money piece. Instead, I was given a very thin money piece and had to ask for the front to be bleached again during the appointment because I wasn't happy with it. Since my hair is already thin, I was nervous about bleaching the same area twice. When I got home, I noticed the bleach had not processed long enough and the front of my hair looked very gold. I reached out to have it fixed, but I had difficulty getting a response and had to double text just to hear back. Fast forward to my appointment this May, and the exact same issue happened again. Before the appointment, I even sent a reference photo on Instagram showing the thick money piece I wanted. Again, the front turned out much thinner than requested. I chose not to complain during the appointment because I didn't want the same pieces bleached twice again. However, when I got home, I noticed there was a dark patch completely missed in the front/top of my hair that is extremely noticeable. I reached out on Instagram, since that is normally how we communicate, and received no response for two days. I then texted her directly, got a couple responses, and then was ghosted again. I completely understand that mistakes happen, and I'm not expecting perfection. What upset me most was the lack of communication and customer service afterward. The first time, I had to go to my mom's wedding unhappy with my hair, and now I'm dealing with this right before my college graduation. I really valued her work, which makes this even more disappointing.

I had never gotten a color treatment on my hair previously and wanted to prioritize a subtle lived-in color to start me off as I was a bit afraid of the grow-out process. I love the way our first appointment turned out and the color grew out amazing and blended so well even a few months later! After making the 40 min drive and arriving, I find out that my appointment was canceled with NO contact from the stylist or the salon. She had booked someone else for the same time slot. When I asked to get a different stylist and explained how far I lived the receptionist told me no one was available. I asked to speak with the manager and both the receptionist and Alisha told me they are unable to give that information out. Both kept repeating "we are all self employed". Alisha's reason for "canceling" my appointment was because I didn't reply to her text which had asked for a picture of my hair goals. I pulled up the text thread which shows not just one reply but TWO that I sent to her. She denied ever receiving my messages. I did not receive a text or phone call from neither her or the salon, canceling my appointment. After reading the reviews on here, appointment canceling seems to be pretty standard for this place. Trust me, don't waste your time going here. What terrible customer service and poor reflection on the salon. I left completely having wasted my time and feeling very upset by the entire ordeal. What a couple of employees can do to a business, unbelievable. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.
