Most recently, I brought my Xterra in for an unusual noise. It was making when I was backing up and turning my steering wheel to the right. They actually came out and said to me that they they must've overlooked it last time. My vehicle was in, which was a few weeks prior and they were going to not charge me for that. They took accountability from missing that were any other mechanic could've just charged me a fee for something like that. They are very honest mechanics and they've been established in Naperville for a very long time. They may not be the cheapest, but you pay for quality work and the guys who work there in the front desk area are great!

Three times over three weeks I stopped in asking to be told when I would be scheduled, not one call...did they rethink their quote? I actually asked them and was assured that they would try to get me in mext week. At one point my phone did break I stopped in and gave an alternate way to contact me but it didn't matter as three times over three weeks they said they would try to get me in next week-would check with the mechanic and get back to me but she never called to inform that I was on the schedule...a call confirming I was on their planner was all I wanted but I never got that.

I read other reviews and still decided to give them a shot because I needed a tire patch due to a nail. So far, it seems fine, but I'd say proceed with caution when it comes to your auto needs here. I won't outright say "don't go," but consider yourself warned. It might be okay... but there's a long "but" in there. Just something to keep in mind.

I took the car to Carlton and they pointed out an electrical plug that was a little out of place. They fixed it in probably a minute. I offered payment, but they declined. I mentioned that the emissions office wanted a report documenting the repair. Russ then went online and filed the repair report directly for me. So not only did they perform a repair free of charge, but they filed my paperwork with the state saving me the trouble of completing the required forms. These guys will definitely have my repair business in the future.
