This is a great auto service place! Right off of Weber Rd, just south of I-55, ask for Bill!

THE CARS (FEAT. MIKE + THE MECHANICS) Like a greatest hits CD I'll never tire of hearing, speedy auto service at a fair price is music to my ears. Okay, so it's actually BILL + the mechanics who run a tight ship here at the Grease Monkey on Normantown Rd. This is an A-Team of friendly professionals that can handle almost any job, big or small. They can guarantee an oil change in under 30 minutes. Some sh*t happened to my poor Mazda a couple months ago and I had to have it towed for repair. Although it took a few days, they were able to replace a new ball joint and they charged me a reasonable amount for parts & labor. Fast forward to now, and I'm getting a standard oil & filter change. When they rang me up, I mentioned that the owner had said he'd "help me out" next time I came in. At first I got some blank stares, but after a few minutes of deliberation they came back and dropped the price from $101 to $86. This beat the $5 off online coupon, so I'm glad I asked. I'm not sure they topped off any fluids (brake, wiper) and my car's interior definitely hadn't been vacuumed. I already knew their car wash was out-of-order, so I didn't expect a sparkling exterior. On the other hand....I'd much rather save 15% on my bill and clean the car on my own time. * TL;DR * Honest, thorough, and they'll have you back on the road in a jiffy. If you need car work done, head over to Grease Monkey in Romeoville, not the Bolingbrook location on Boughton (who once fed me some pretty glaring misinformation about my broken-down car, requiring it to get towed a second time). As others have mentioned, Bill is a genuine dude. His team works TIRE-lessly to provide solid customer service, and in an industry where tons of people are overcharged and taken advantage of, you won't encounter that here. Great experience, I'll definitely encourage my wife and others to bring their business to this Grease Monkey.

Wow! I was so impressed by their customer service!! They are friendly. I was there for an oil change and they went above and beyond with their service. They also vacuum my car.

Great location, personalized attention and even good conversation!

Went today for an oil change. They got me right in, and everyone was friendly. I also thought the prices were great. I will go back.

My car has never had any problems before, so I didn't even know what that meant. The guy told me to leave it and come back later and they'd let me know what was wrong. When I came back, they gave me a huge list of things "wrong" with my car, which already didn't sit right with me because again my car was perfectly fine before I came there. I was planning on getting a second opinion, but before I could even do that, my car stopped turning on completely. It just started making a slow ticking noise. Come to find out, ALL of the oil in my car was GONE. That does NOT just happen out of nowhere. I had a good amount of oil before I brought my car there, and somehow right after I leave, it's magically empty? Why was my oil even taken out in the first place? The only thing I can think of is to try to "prove" I had an oil leak which makes zero sense. That is extremely dangerous. You can literally destroy someone's engine or put them in a dangerous situation doing something like that. As a woman, that whole experience felt disgusting, disrespectful, and like I was being taken advantage of. I don't recommend this place AT ALL. Be very careful bringing your car here. The people working on my car and the guy I spoke to can honestly go to hell for that. Yall are lucky IF I don't file a damn police report on yall ass! KISS MY ASS!

I had been looking for a specific used vehicle online to purchase in a particular color. I finally…read moregot a notification online that this dealership had it so hubby and I drove over an hour there on 9/20/25 to take a look at it. We had a 2 p.m. confirmed appointment with Ivan. We get there and the staff is friendly. The dealership is big and beautiful. When we told them that we had an appointment with Ivan, Kimberly told us that he's with another customer and that she would take over for him. Huh? We had an appointment with him so why were we passed off to someone else? Didn't like that factor. They had the 2019 red GLE 43 Coupe waiting for us to look at which was nice. I was excited to see. I was very surprised when looking at the car. Although it's a nice car, there was damage to it. The back wheel rim had the Mercedes center medallion missing from it. There was also damage to the drivers inside door panel - there was a large crack on the plastic molding that is very obvious because it's black. I asked her if those would be repaired and she told me no. We took a test drive but the excitement waned because Kimberly was talking way too much and asking personal questions about hubby and I so it was hard to concentrate on the things about the car. I told her I wanted to look at other cars as I knew that wasn't my car and the warranty had expired. She took us back into her office (all glass windows) and I could see that Ivan's office was right next to her. There were many times he was alone but he didn't stop in to introduce himself. Kimberly found out our price range and showed us on their website cars available at the dealership. I saw a few I wanted to look at so she took us over to look at them. There was one car I was really interested in, the 2025 CLA 250. We took a test drive and it rode nice, and I really liked the car. Came back to Kim's office and started talking about financing. Hubby and I decided to take time to think about the decision. When we told Kimberly this, she told me they couldn't guarantee that the car wouldn't be sold without a non-refundable deposit. We understood. I did ask the question about who gets the commission if we were to purchase the car and interesting enough, she told me both her and Ivan would share it which was odd to me. As we were getting ready to leave, she told us that their protocol is to have the manager stop in to talk to the customer. We met Matt and he was again asking us questions about where do we live, etc. and told us they hope we will do business with them. I thought he was going to come in to ask how Kimberly's performance was. It was odd for him to come in to talk with us. Again, as we were about to leave, Ivan popped in to tell us something, I don't remember what it was. I told him that our appointment was with him so I didn't understand why he never came to introduce himself the entire time we were there as we stayed there a couple of hours (till closing time). He apologized. And so we left. Here is where things changed for us. We liked the car but after our visit, for the next week we were hounded between Ivan and Kimberly texting, calling and emailing me several times about the car or offering questions if we had any. That was an instant turn off because we felt like we were being stalked over a car purchase which shouldn't be. To stop the communication, I finally let them know that we would not be purchasing the car. They responded thanking us for letting them know. I thought that would stop the communication. It didn't. Ivan reached out again about looking at other cars. I blocked him at that point. Overall, I would say, if someone makes an appointment with a salesperson, let it be that salesperson to help us through the entire visit. Dealing with two people and getting communication from two people about a vehicle is a bit much and makes it look like desperation. Please stop.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Fields Auto Group, specifically at Mercedes-Benz…read moreof Orland Park and Mercedes-Benz of Romeoville. I would strongly advise others against having their vehicle serviced at either location. My vehicle was brought in multiple times for the same unresolved issue, and I was charged thousands of dollars in repairs. Despite this, the problem was ultimately fixed by a single $600 part. From the start, I clearly explained the specific issue and even communicated what the likely cause was. Instead of addressing it, multiple unrelated parts were replaced. When I questioned this, I was told it was a "different problem," which was proven to be false once the correct part was finally installed and immediately resolved the original issue. A repair should not require multiple visits for the same problem, nor should a vehicle be returned if it is not fully repaired. This situation resulted in unnecessary costs, wasted time, and a complete lack of accountability. Dealing with Brad Patrylak made the experience even worse. He was arrogant, dismissive, and extremely difficult to work with, displaying a clear lack of professionalism and customer service skills. This experience caused significant financial loss and left me with zero confidence in Fields or its Mercedes-Benz service departments. I will not be returning and do not recommend them to anyone.
